BACKGROUND

Chedda claims he was born aboard a luxury starliner. Other days he insists he hatched from an egg beneath a Hutt's palace. Once, after several drinks, he confidently informed a gathering of Sith that he was actually three Chadra-Fans standing on each other's shoulders beneath an oversized coat. The only consistent truth is that Chedda Miko always seems to know far more than he should.

For decades he drifted through the galaxy's underworld, trading in the only commodity that never loses value: information. Smugglers paid him to locate hidden hyperlanes. Crime lords paid him to uncover traitors. Politicians paid him to discover scandals. Then they paid him again to make those scandals disappear.

Chedda built a fortune not through violence, but through curiosity. Every conversation was a transaction. Every rumor a potential investment. Every secret another coin in an ever-growing vault. When the Sith Covenant began expanding its influence, Chedda immediately recognized opportunity. The Sith sought power and power required a steady flow of information, and who better to provide such information than himself.

Unlike many who joined the Covenant out of ideology, fear, or devotion, Chedda arrived with a smile and a business proposal. He offered networks of informants, blackmail archives, merchant contacts, and intelligence channels that stretched across sectors.

The Sith accepted. Now Chedda serves as an unofficial broker between Covenant interests and the galaxy's countless opportunists. He attends meetings he was never invited to, somehow acquires classified reports before the people writing them, and routinely appears in places that should be impossible for him to access.

PERSONALITY

Chedda Miko is equal parts merchant, entertainer, and nuisance. He speaks exclusively in third person, referring to himself as though he were an entirely separate individual. He treats life like one long negotiation and rarely approaches a situation without looking for an angle. Yet unlike many schemers, Chedda is surprisingly personable. He remembers names, recalls favors, and has a remarkable ability to make people feel important.

His greatest talent is persuasion. Chedda can convince a bounty hunter to delay a contract, a merchant to lower prices, or two rival Sith to postpone murdering each other for at least a few minutes. Beneath the humor and eccentricity lies a sharp survival instinct. Chedda understands exactly how dangerous the galaxy is and has survived by making himself too useful to kill.
