The Chase X2 AirLand Speeder is the second Chase designed speeder design, and the first produced on a massive scale. The speeder itself was designed as a high performance vehicle for the discerning customer. Performance and luxury were the words that dictated its construction. The vehicle was designed with a powerful engine for speed and a lightweight frame for superior handling making it a clear choice for enthusiasts.
A key feature of the design is the dual system propulsion capability. With the flick of a switch and change of gears the speeder could be changed in configuration from a landspeeder zooming over the ground of rural planets to an airspeeder capable of flying the cityscape of Coruscant. This production intensive propulsion system was designed to create a vehicle which could suit the needs of various planetary authorities, a speeder that could be taken with the owner to various destinations throughout the galaxy.
In order to protect the vehicle from debris and provide for less wind resistance on planets with atmospheres the vehicle was equipped with a basic kinetic shield allowing it to fly across the sky and skip across the ground.
In addition to the sleek exterior, finely tuned engines, and basic shielding the speeder boasted an impressive interior with rich leather and amenities such as navigation systems and full self diagnosis program, and holo communication suite.
