BIOGRAPHY:
Charlie was born to two fairly simple parents on Coruscant. His mother experienced heart problems while in delivery of her unborn child, and in an attempt to save her life, Charlie suffered some mental retardation and the loss of use in his legs. His mother recovered and was back to normal several hours after he was born, but the damage was done to the fresh infant.
During the early years of schooling it was discovered that Charlie would have trouble with most of the curriculum with the exception of mathematics, which he greatly excelled to the point of genius. Growing up on such a densely populated planet with disabilities was hard and Charlie was subject to much ridicule and mockery. None of the children near his age while attending school wanted to be associated with him because he was considered 'weird and strange'. He had but only one person he could call a friend. A girl, slightly older than him, Alyssa, had taken interest and they became close. Charlie relied on the girl for moral support in addition to needing to be taken care of physically. In return for her kindness, he spent most of his time trying to think of ways to make her laugh, or at very least smile and often being successful. It came as a surprise to Charlie when Alyssa left him in order to join the Republic after their last year of schooling. For a few years he had relied on her for so much and to have her leave without much notice or warrant left him lonely and somewhat broken inside.
A new time has come for Mr. Rogers. A time to go out into the world and make something of himself. Only time will tell if that something is playing the role of a fool, or being one of the next great inventor/engineer.
