Public Character of the Month - November 2025 - Nominations!

Happy November everyone! Crazy how close to the end of the year we are! I was also really pleased with the Zinder event that is currently underway, that has been a lot of fun to read and be a part of. Also excited to see what everyone else has been getting up to and what other threads have been grabbing people's attention and fun. So share the threads you have been enjoying for the characters since I always love seeing those and thrilled to read more of what others are getting up to!

Rules are as following:

• Nominate a character that is not of your writing that has impressed you in the last month.
• Give the reasons why.
  • Please include thread links for others to see why you love the character so much.
• You may nominate someone that has already been nominated, they will be listed once in the voting stage and the reasons combined into one.
• This is for In Character stuff.
• During the nomination step, you must ask the winner a question for your nomination to count. Yes, that means in this thread, along with the nomination also put a question for the eventual winner, ya scamp.
• During the voting, please limit yourselves to one vote.
• Character must have been active in the last month to qualify, would be great if you would keep it to the last months exploits too.
• Characters can only win once.
• Please do not nominate Staff.
• One week to nominate. Approximately.

When we got into the flow, it was awesome. For me it only got better as the thread went on, which shows how their author meets the other writer in the middle. At the end, that thread wrote so easily that for one of the first times on Chaos, for me, it felt like a tight tactical team moving in a coordinated way.

If everything else had to go, what one thing would you keep?

I want to nominate Madrona A’Mia ! The character is absolutely fantastic, and the way the writer portrays a Neti is fun reading. It helps they tore an entire city wall down once too!

The character is brilliantly played, engaging, and natural. Frankly, for my first experience with group roleplaying on Chaos, I don't think I could have asked for a better experience. These comments are truly touching; a lot of emotion comes through in the threads.

I second the nomination's for Scherezade deWinter

Scherezade as character is chaotic and fun! Definitely love the interactions between CT-312 and Scherezade. But not only their interactions, but reading up on how the character interacts with others, be it light/dark/other.

It's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get inside

Thread : Antique Dealers

Reason : One, I'm showing some reciprocal NFU love for my boy Pal Veda. An excellent example of how NFU's balance action and adventure with the vulnerability of not having mystical powers to compensate. Dialogue is spot on and hilarious but insightful. Lastly, the writer is an all around good guy with a great attitude around RP.

Question : What is one character driven story you would tell if there were no limitations on your time/energy/ability to find a writing partner/etc ?
