Here is the voting thread! Sorry for the delay, not been feeling very well so allowed this to slip my mind on my to do list. However, it is here and here are the nominations for every person:

I second this nomination. The story that Reina has told from Jedi Padawan to the badass she's becoming and discovering herself has been a fun ride. I've enjoyed our stories together and even opposing her as a fellow Jedi with Kito , Reina is a great character and the writer is even more fabulous!

It's redundant to say I third the nomination, but I do. Even before I knew Reina Daival I was stalking all the GA threads I could read. Reina has a depth to her that has been earned over and over and is a joy to read.

Nominating Tannor Grene . It's not often you see a character doing stories delving into real character growth and psychological change.

Nomination: Varin Mortifer

I would like to nominate Varin Mortifer for Character of the Month.

There are a lot of strong writers on the site, but what stands out about Varin is the consistency of his presence and the weight he brings into every scene. He does not just react to events. He shapes them. Whether it is through tension, emotion, or sheer force of personality, every thread he is in feels elevated because of it.

In particular, his recent writing in this thread really highlights that:

There is a very real sense of instability and intensity to Varin that never feels random. It is controlled chaos. You can feel the internal conflict in his posts, the push and pull between restraint and something far more destructive beneath the surface. That balance is not easy to write, and it is done consistently well.

What I have especially enjoyed is how he interacts with others. He creates space for tension without overpowering the scene, and his reactions feel grounded in his character's history and state of mind. That makes every interaction feel meaningful rather than forced.

He is the kind of character that:

 • drives narrative forward
 • creates emotional stakes
 • and gives other writers something strong to respond to
That combination is what makes collaborative writing really work, and Varin does it extremely well.

I nominate Varin Mortifer also! Although the writing I’ve seen is entertaining for sure, this nomination actually comes from word of mouth. I hear so many stories and positive experiences attached to writing with Varin, both IC and OOC. I’m not surprised to see his name come up here. One of my favorite qualities in a writer is someone who drives story rather than merely reacting to what’s been written. Come to find out, he’s the Dungeon Master of his group’s D&D table—so it’s no surprise that he excels in storytelling and creating plot.

Two great candidates! I would nominate Varin Mortifer he's a great person, a joy to talk to, and an excellent writer I look forward to plotting and writing with. He definitely deserves it!

I too am going to nominate Varin Mortifer . The storytelling has been consistent for a year straight, ya'll. He's been in the top numbers of posts for the month, for the last few months - which goes to show just how active he is on the board. The quality of his writing and his stories has vastly improved since he first started writing on Chaos, and his threads are engaging and a joy to follow/read. He is a fun person to talk to and write with, which makes engaging with him even better!

Good luck to every nominee!!
