So, I originally created Nekana to just be kind of a fun character I'd drop into party and nightclub threads at random.

This song, this remix in particular, has been the biggest inspiration for who Nekana is as a character now, after a serious revision a couple years ago:

Seras Victoria from Hellsing among other Vampires, energy vampires in Star Wars, and another character of mine named Charlotte Homura, like how Paola is based on Darth Anarchis in a few ways.

Initially, Ciri was inspired by netrunners of Cyberpunk, notably Lucyna Kushinada from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. But, somewhat became a mix of that and the usual secret agent type.

when I started writing Yael, my inspiration was Bo-Katan that never turned good, taking the Magneto route as a response to how the galaxy had treated her people.

those still remains as inspirations, with addition of a twisted mix of Radovid (in beliefs) and Dijkstra (in context and methods) now that she is a Black Sun operative.

That's a tough one! most of Kaila's inspirations come from vibes more than characters but there are a couple names.

Kreia from KOTOR 2 served as very very very loose inspiration in her views on the force and fate especially.
Darth Marr from SWTOR also served as loose inspiration for her ideals surrounding unity and order among Sith.
Darth Vader sort of inspired how she uses telekinesis lol

It didn't start like this though, whatever traits she took on were organic responses to her master and rp that let me adopt new role models for the character over time

I have made it clearer that Burton is based on Merlin in some form. But he is based on 2 versions of him, and how Excalibur's light is gold in some cases along with being able to blind an army or something.

And Burton is something of an old OC here at least, but sadly I never got to use him much here due to burnout and overall loss of interest...
His tenure as a Force Teacher is all offscreen so far because of those, but honestly? He's more a gray jedi still heavily light leaning in that case.
