Changing of the guard [ask to join/Open to Ession Reformation]

"Once upon a time there was a land of desert and isolation, and in this desert there was a fox. Now fox had finished eating for the day and now he needed to cross a mighty river to go home. But the river is just too wide for fox to cross himself. But that's when a scorpion approached fox and said. "Fox as I was walking along the river bank I noticed a place you could carry me across, it is not too wide and the current is slower. Can you help me?" Fox doesn't like this idea, so fox says to scorpion "Why should I take you across? How could I trust you?" Scorpion says "Why would I sting you? We would both perish and drown" fox thinks about this and says "show me this place where we will cross and I will take you." But scorpion says to fox "Put me on your back first you may try to leave me." Fox let's scorpion climb on his back and scorpion takes fox to the way across the river. Fox gets into the water and as he reaches half way across he feels a stinging sensation across his back, and he knows the scorpion has stung him. So he screams "Why have you stung me? Now we will both die. And so scorpion says to fox before they die."

"I am what I am fox, it's in my nature." a cold soft and intelligent voice said to a crowd of people gathered in a market square

Hyde, the man forever trapped in a suit of metal looked upon a crowd of hundreds of men and women. They had been gathered here by the Ession Freedom Front a group of men and women who wanted the Jedi Lords of Ession gone. And it just so happened that their goals fell in line with that of the new terrorist organization, the Forceless Future Society. A group hell bent on killing every last force user in the galaxy and freeing the people once and for all, this was their first operation and they had not come up on any searches or watch lists yet. But they were going to fix that today.

"You see. The Jedi are the scorpion, they use us. The common man, and then once they have tricked us into working for them. They kill us, look at what your reformation has brought you? Did they lift a finger when the rapture happened?! Did they do anything when your families were taken?!" Hyde said in a very loud tone to the crowd.

"THEY DID NOTHING! BECAUSE YOU ARE NOTHING TO THEM!! NOW WITH ME MY CHILDREN!! TODAY WE TAKE BACK ESSION TODAY WE REMOVE THE JEDI FILTH!!" Theodore's voice boomed out to the crowd and he stepped down from his podium.

The crowd now in a heated frenzy began to riot. They threw bricks through windows and started to grow in size, all according to plan. It was almost too easy really, now all they had to do was march up to the temple and slay the Jedi. Throughout the crowd dozens of FFS agents were hidden and waiting to strike in case anything big had come up. Ession had fallen under hard times since the rapture, and it was time for a change of guard.

Ooc
The objective is simple, lead the angry mob through the streets. Kill anyone who tries to stop you until you reach the Jedi temple, then burn it to the ground.

Judgement took a deep breath of air through her mask, enjoying the frenzy of the crowd.
Today, they would bring down the oppressive Jedi on this world.
For now, she simply had to watch.
The Instrument of Chaos could not wait for someone to get in her way as she encouraged the crowd to further violence.

A Rodian kneeled atop a skyscraper. He didn't seem particularly interesting, except for the disruptor rifle he held. The weapon was one hundred percent illegal, not that it mattered. It got the job done and was the only weapon he considered worth using. Pauul Farrlo was his name and shooting people was the game.

He peered through the scope at the members of the liberation front, or whatever they called themselves. Pauul watched them riot, burning crap, breaking crap and causing general bedlam. He couldn't say he disagreed with their reasons. Probably lots of oppression from heavy-handed overlords who kept power through fear and false advertising. The Hutts operated the same way. The only difference really between himself and the people down below was that he had a family to feed. They barely got by beneath Hutt rule. He was banned from Hutt space. The only way he could provide was by credit transfers and doing what he did best.

Maybe he did feel a little bad about shooting 'em, but it never reached past that cold feeling in his gut. Gotta be professional, y'know?

Pauul squeezed the trigger and watched one of the liberation front managers turn to ash, vaporized. Good thing his rifle's scope had an integrated camera. Proof of execution and whatnot. A few more piles of ash and he could feed his family for a week. How about that?

The smoke was becoming thicker than the air on the streets of Ession. While Hyde and Nopells were giving yammering on, Jareth had taken the lead of the angriest rioters. At first he was the only one truly causing havoc, but a few burning cocktails later and the whole crowd went wild. Flicking his lighter, Jareth marched the crowd through the flames spewing through the windows of broken speeders and unlucky shops on the corners. Up ahead, beyond the haze of smoke, a line of police officers had formed to block the path of the rioters. A bad mistake with Oldron leading the charge.

Each officer in the line cracked his stun rod on a metal pad near the bottom of his boot, creating an orchestra of electric cracks echoing down the streets; their voices providing booming vocals, "Move back! Move Back!"

Jareth scoffed as a voice over a loudspeaker oinked about how the crowd was unlawfully assembled and were "subject to arrest". Spinning on heel, Jareth peered out over the ocean of raving people in step with him; then, pumping a fist into the air, called out to them. "These cops are standing in the way of us and that damn Jedi Temple! Are you going to let them stop you?!"

"NO!" Jareth leaned back as the pressure of the voices smacked him like a wave, the power behind each one was something he'd never felt before.

"Then lets move them out of our way!" Jareth cried, throwing his fist forward as he spun and began charging the line of officers. The line visibly tensed up, each officer bracing his body against his shield as he leaned into it. Still the ocean raged forward.

As the crowd approached, officers popped up over the heads of their shield wielding brethren and began firing blasters at the charging crowd. Blue bolts of energy filled the streets as the stun rounds mowed through line after line of rioters. Jareth dove behind a downed speeder as the line pushed on, drawing his own pistol in the process. He'd wait for the fodder to engage, then he'd get in close to finish the work.

Pauul lined up his next shot, stood to get a better angle, and nearly got clipped by an errant air-speeder. He stumbled backward, eyes wide - well, they are always wide - then tripped over a roof fan. His skull cracked against the rooftop and blackness engulfed him.

Punchy, his Gran buddy, managed to get him off planet and put him in a hospital, where he currently lies in a comatose.

Lesson? Don't go to Ession to shoot protestors, or you might trip over a roof fan and end up in a coma.

Objective: Kill Jedi Supporters

Lifting up his own megaphone the man bellowed out into the crowd as rocks and sticks met metal and armor. He shouted out as fire rained down upon the force users lap dogs, their slaves. It was painful to kill his brethren, his fellow mortal. But sacrifices needed to be made for the greater good of the galaxy. There could only be one world where peace was reached, and that was the world where every force user and their puppets lay dead on the ground.

"THEY DID NOTHING WHEN THE RAPTURE CAME TO TAKE YOUR FAMILIES!! THESE MEN LAUGHED AT YOUR PAIN!! KILL THEM!!" Hyde said over the megaphone

The mob grew in number and that primal urge in people came out as rage engulfed everyone. The need to feel those weaker than you crushed beneath your feet and those who dared stand in your path become nothing more than a memory.

Screams from the officers rang out as the fire spread and this only fueled Hyde more, it made him want to kill these people for what they did to him. For what they did to his family. Drawing a large combat knife and pistol he charged into the fray of bodies that were pushing the cops back. Everything was a blur of movement and chaos, arms and legs flying everywhere as the shield wall was broken. But Hyde found his first victim, the first man he'd ever kill.

A young police officer no older than twenty came at Hyde with his baton, but Hyde was lucky enough to step to the side In time. The baton missed him and he rammed the knife into the boy's stomach. But he didn't stop there, over and over he proceeded to cut and twist until his metal mask was covered in specks of red and a dead man lay at his feet. There was so much more work to be done.

As violence rang out, Judgement gave a smile under her mask and drew both her rapiers, dashing into the officers.

In a whirlwind of blades, she cut a bloody swath through the officers, giving a small laugh as blood splattered on her. Behind the masked woman, the crowd charged in, and she stopped to allow them forward.
To overthrow Ession, the people needed to drive in the final nail, not her.

Cylus Jest

Servant of the Inquisition
A shadow passed the ground for a brief moment, it moved terribly quickly. In the midst of a crowd of guards a slight tinkling noise of metal, unhearable among the rioting. An explosion, rippling a wave of fire on several, destroying them instantly.

Cylus landed with the burn of human, his terrifying mask looking around at the scorches cadavers around him. Had he caused that, one little machine and now so many dead. Pity, such a waste. He spun his attention to a woman in the crowd, one he recognized by mask. The flicker of motion that brought his Zion blade to hand was rapid.

It wove through the air as if it was air, tearing through flesh and shield alike with it's low hum. Another swing, the guards head disappeared. Directly ahead, rioters staring at him for brief moments, had they not expected this level of destruction?
"Good greetings, Judgement. Your employer is here." The voice was as cold as his eyes, as cold as his deeds.

The crowds threw themselves against the shields like a scene taken straight from the days of sword warfare. Clawing the shields away from the officers, the rioters forced themselves through the lines and began beating the police with long pipes and bricks picked up from the streets. Some of the members of the mob were so worked up that even the stun rounds weren't putting them down.

"Pull back! Pull back!" The loudspeaker announced the officers who were becoming increasingly overwhelmed and separated as the crowd piled atop them. Jareth slightly poked his head around the side of the speeder just in time to catch a series of flashbangs go off amidst the crowd. Every passing moment became more hectic as thrown canisters began to spew tear and knockout gas into the mob and officers began to take their blasters off of stun; forced to start firing lethal shots into rioters flooding the area.

Now was Jareth's chance to move in without getting himself taken down. Jumping back to his feet, Oldron pushed forward through the masses with his pistol at the ready. An officer, face shielded by a mask, was pulling a rioter by the hair and furiously beating him with a stun baton. He was an easy target. By the time he fell, Jareth had already moved onto another officer wrestling for his shield. A quick bolt to the side of the head made sure he wouldn't be policing anymore.

Again and again the rioters lined up the officers and Jareth put them down. "Pick up their guns!" Jareth cried out to anyone who could hear him. He had fought force users before when he had attacked the CIS and he knew that this crowd would need every blaster they could get when they got to the temple.

A flash bang went off in Hyde's face and he staggered back clutching his eyes, they burned and everything was blurry. He let out a roar of frustration as adrenaline surged through him, he wasn't going to let a silly thing like temporary blindness stop him from getting his revenge. So he charged, boots clanking on the ground as furious stomps of metal met asphalt. A throaty war cry left his mouth as he speared into an officer taking him down to the ground with a sick crack of bones and flesh.

"THIS IS FOR MY WIFE!!" he screamed as he brought down a fist on the officers face with another crack and splatter of blood.

He couldn't see anything still but a white light but he knew he was atop an officer and was wailing on him with iron fists.

"THIS IS FOR MY DAUGHTER!!" another iron thwack hit with a spray of blood.

"THIS IS FOR MY SON!! DIE!!" he let out another scream and the form beneath him was dead and twitching.

Hyde took in a deep gasp of air as everything around him grew hot, the fire was spreading. Good, this place needed to burn. His vision cleared just enough to see an incoming officer wielding a baton, he quickly drew his sidearm and through the blur of motion he luckily put one between the man's eyes. The peacekeepers were falling back now and they were just about free to head to the temple.

"TO THE TEMPLE!! RAZE IT!!" he screamed and started charging forward with the mob of people.

Break walked amid the chaos, a vision of serenity among the mayhem. Guards threw themselves upon the blue cloaked figure as he passed through the street they were met with a clutch of death as Break merely were sliced to pieces by the HRD one made the mistake of trying to grab his arms he tried to scream but his windpipe was being crushed. He threw their mangled bodies to the crowd as they were picked up and paraded as trophies.

He marched on to the temple as he charged his plasma canon.
The guards were soon learning to fear the coming onslaught a few cowards even ran they were shot down by their brothers in arms.

"Pathetic...a dog of the Jedi and a coward!"

The cowards only ran as far as the other side of the street before Break had broken their ranks and shot them down.

"Is there nobody stronger? Is this the best you've got? Send your best, we have come for vengeance for our sons our brothers our sisters out mothers! ....our fathers...send us the best you've got! The fight our brothers fought, here, Now WILL END WITH ME!
NOW WITH ONE POWER SHOT, YOU WILL SEE WHAT VENGEANCE MEANS!"

the men were mowed down like grass before the scythe. Their lines were broken as Break stopped in the middle of the street as the horde of rioters behind him attacked they picked up arms as Break charged his canon soon to aim at the temple.

As the police were routed, Jareth continued to fire at them to make sure they didn't turn back. Only once they had been chased off the street did Jareth turn his sights on the Jedi Temple. It was much larger than anything he'd attacked in CIS space, figured as much; Force Users loved their big towers. Putting his gun to his side, he watched as the crowd swept passed him through smoke and gas; everyone following in the shadow of Hyde who had bound into a crazed charge up the steps after pulverizing a police officer. Jareth starred at cop for a moment, the raise of his eyebrow hidden behind his Grevious-esque mask. It was unlike the Hyde he knew to get that physically violent, granted this was their first operation of many to come.

After checking over his pistol, Jareth followed the crowd up the steps to the Jedi Temple. Already people were beginning to tear down statues of Jedi and throw bricks through windows at the front gate. Logically, the Jedi had locked and barred them to keep the crowds from simply steamrolling into their hive and wrecking it. That was no matter, there was no problem in the galaxy that couldn't be solved with the careful application of high explosives; and Jared still had a nice stash from his exploits against the CIS. Jareth pushed his way though the crowds, shunting them to the ground and throwing them to the side.

When he finally reached the head of the raging mob, he gazed upon the tall bronze doors of the temple. He had to admit, the Ession had built themselves a damn nice building. There had to be a few hundred thousand credits worth of scrap metals and decorations inside, assuming the crowd didn't destroy everything to the point of worthlessness. Looking over to Hyde, Jareth retrieved a brick of compacted mining charge from a pouch on his BDU pants. The brick was no larger than what you'd use to build a wall, but miners used it to blow big chunks of rock out of their way so it should do the trick.

"These morons might want to step back" he warned as he marched forward and placed the charge at the foot of the door. Turning around, Jareth hurried himself down three of the eight flights of stairs leading up to the door and took over behind a statue. Pulling the detonator from his pocket, he waited a few moments for Hyde and the others to clear the way. Of course, he hadn't told any of the rioters about the explosion but a few casualties never stopped any revolution he'd heard of.

Objective: Storm the Jedi temple

Using his enhanced strength from the cardio stimulus package keeping his body together Hyde holstered his weapons and picked up a parking meter that had been blown from it's post. Picking it up off the street the man marched towards the temple and began to run towards the doors.

BOOM!!

The explosion went off and the large bronze doors flew off their hinges and blew inward. Hyde let out a roar of blood lust and charged forward through the smoke and debris. Bringing the makeshift club down low almost like a bater winding up to swing he leapt forward and came across a Jedi librarian holding a holocron trying to get it to safety.

The Ithorian's eyes went wide and the last thing he saw was a large chunk of metal bashing his face in and cracking his skull. The Jedi fell over and promptly died as Hyde began to beat the Ithorian's head until as he screamed until green blood splattered the floors and the Jedi beneath him was nothing but paste and twitching limbs.

"BURN IT TO THE GROUND!!" He yelled and looked up to see other Jedi running away.

He spotted a group of younglings fleeing with their teacher and a sadistic idea came to his head, he was going to send a message.

Tiola had seen the riots, had moved with the crowds as they called for vengeance upon their oppressors. But it was Boomerang who walked with the rioters, Boomerang who stuck one of her knives in an officer's throat and put a blaster bolt through another. The disguised Jumper had nothing against the individuals -- but they were on opposing sides, and that was enough.

Ession. A world notorious for its Freedom Front. Before, the mercenary-turned-vigilante had thought of them as nothing more than bloodshedders, loony terrorists who just wanted attention. But with her own, ah...refocus, Tiola had done some digging and discovered the true reason for the riots. It was a revolt, a revolt against oppression by the Jedi. The woman didn't care too much for the Jedi (in her mind, they appeared to be leeches -- at least the Sith, despicable as some of 'em were, had the guts to admit it) so killing a few off didn't bother her too much. Hell, she didn't care at all.

No, it was the goal of the group and the methods which they imployed that had attracted her here. And it was here that the young woman was having trouble remembering that it was not to spread the blood of the lawmakers, but to help overthrow a couple of tyrants here and there.

Eventually, the crowd swept the merc towards the Jedi Temple, and through the eye holes of her mask she caught sight of a man clad in green rush in. The man who'd told the story about the fox and scorpion, if she recalled correctly. Perhaps I can help him, she thought dryly.

The people were too chaotic and numerous to allow for fast travel, so Boomerang clambered atop an overturned speeder and, rolling her shoulders, made use of her species' awesome jumping ability. To some outsiders, it might have seemed like she was using the Force to jump, but Tiola was as Force Sensitive as Tatooine was wet.

She soon made it to the entrance and followed the sounds of crying and havoc being wrecked. Tiola made out the green-clad figure and traced his gaze to a group of younglings and an adult. Concluding that he was the main contributor to the mess, it dawned on her as to what his plan was. Time to help the man out!

Boomerang withdrew and threw her boomerang, but it was Tiola who aimed. The weapon arched through the air and sliced open the jugular vein of the teacher before returning to the woman's outstretched hand. As the younglings screamed in horror and the adult collapsed, the merc turned her gaze to the man, intent on seeing what his reaction would be.

Late to the party, because he'd been making some new toys to play with, Cyrus ran along rooftops and flung a couple of his Bye Bye grenades into the line of local officers. Soon their lungs would liquefy and their eyes and skin would be covered in burns.

With the FF people below doing whatever it was they did, that left Cyrus the ability to move unencumbered. The focus of the offixers was on the street, the masked rogue, extremist, saboteur had made his way beyond the police line and was within view of the Jedi Temple.

The temple shook as the mining explosive engulfed the bronze doors in flames, throwing them inward and cascading the crowds in a thick cloud of smoke. Jareth jumped from behind the statue and bolted through the smoke eclipsing the area, shunting and pushing over all the rioters who weren't quick enough to get our of his way. His eyes shot across the room as he threw himself through the doorway, his pistol at the ready. Hyde had already taken a parking meter to the head of some damned alien whilst the wave of rioters began to overwhelm the low-leveled apprentices desperately trying to save the information stored in the archives.

It was absolute chaos as the mob piled in. A putrid chemical musk had begun to fill the halls as neon flags and velvet drapes were burned by rioters; some of them waving burning symbols of Ession as they danced atop toppled bookshelves and threw burning objects at the retreating Jedi. Jareth marched forward, his eyes perusing the fleeing Jedi as they made their way up a long slight of stairs in the back of the bottom level. Some of the rioters were trying to give chase, but a group of Jedi Knights had taken up position at the bottom of the stairs to guard the retreat of the younglings. As soon as the rioters got within a few meters, the Knights would throw out their hands and send the dissenters hurling through the air.

"Well, well, well how noble of them" Jareth whispered to himself as he watched the Jedi toss another group into the air like they were chiefs flipping pizza doe. Turning to his left, Jareth caught sight of a few men waving a burning flag. They weren't big or bulking by any means, but they were young and stupid which was much more useful in times such as these.

"You there!" Jareth called to the flag burners, each of them shot straight to attention. Everyone had seen Jareth alongside Hyde when this riot first started. As far as they and most of the other rioters were concerned, Hyde and Jareth were the ring leaders of this little revolution. "Grab anything you can throw, I want to see the view from upstairs and those assholes are in my way" Jareth sneered, Jerking a thumb in the direction of the staircase guards.

The youth gave a poor, jerky salute before going to work picking up metal junks that had broken off fallen shelves. As the flag burners threw the flag aside and ran up to begin their mission, Jareth briskly moved to the far wall of the temple library. Moving in a long half-circle, Jareth positioned himself in a corner just beside the staircase; away from the protestors and out of sight of the Jedi. He waited patiently for the objects to start getting hurled, his eyes locked on the Jedi closest to him. She was a blonde headed woman, couldn't have been more than twenty or so; not that it was going to matter in a moment.

The flag burning youth did as exactly as they were told and began hurling massive chunks of metal at the Jedi guards. Taken by surprise, the Jedi ducked out of the way; forced to concentrate their force powers on both the charging rioters and their flying projectiles. Seizing the opportunity, Jareth briskly marched up behind the blonde headed Jedi and raised his blaster pistol to the back of her head. Violently, her head whipped forward; scorched clumps of bloody hair exploding into every direction.

When she hit the ground, the rest of the guards immediately spun in shock. As they gawked in horror, the rioters overwhelmed them. Within seconds the Jedi were disarmed, the rioters beating them with heavy pipes and bricks or shooting them with stolen police sidearms. A wide grin spread over Jareth's face, hidden under the cold skeletal face of Grevious he wore as a mask.

"They are upstairs, trying to escape our justice! Throw them from the windows of their own temple!" Jareth fumed, pumping his fist into the air as he lead the charge onto the second level.

Location: Jedi temple
Objective: Kill the oppressors

Hyde watched as the younglings screamed in panic and shock, their teacher fell to the ground grasping at their throat as they bled out and went still. Hyde had plans for those children, yes he had plans. He looked to the woman who had thrown the boomerang with skill and pointed a finger at her.

"You! Secure the younglings I want them alive and mostly intact, no disembodied limbs!" he said over the loud noises of a group of Jedi knights being swarmed and killed.

Hyde gripped his parking meter tight and walked through the crowd of rioters, and they parted for him like the Red Sea. Hyde had never experienced power like this, it was intoxicating to say the least. He felt like a god, this was what force users must of felt like all the time. Hyde approached a downed Jedi knight that the rioters had pinned down with a blaster pointed at his head. It was pathetic to look at, a once proud Jedi reduced to nothing more than a sheep waiting for slaughter. And that gave Hyde an idea, a very twisted idea. He looked to a rioter and saw that he had a holocam. And was no recording him, good.

"Jareth, take care of the Jedi upstairs please. Kill them, slowly." the temple was almost fallen and they would be the new rulers of this planet.

Hyde squatted down until his face was above the Jedi's, his eyes staring down at the brown haired oppressor. And Hyde spoke in cool soft and sophisticated words.

"Do you know how a farmers kills a sheep?" he said coldly.

"I say this now because that's what your kind have reduced us to. Sheep, now you're going to know what it's like. " Hyde ran a iron covered hand through the Jedi's hair.

"You see the farmer covers the sheep's eyes first. So the sheep doesn't see what's coming." Hyde moved his hand down to the man's eyes and covered them.

"The farmer makes the sheep comfy, and then he takes a knife and slowly runs it across the sheep's throat." a rioter behind the man took a knife and opened the Jedi's artery.

The Jedi began to squirm but the rioters held him down still as blood began to pool.

"But he keeps his hand over the sheep's eyes. And the sheep relaxes again as he can't see what's happening. The farmer comforts the sheep. Shhhh it's okay, it's okay this is good. You did great, you did great." the Jedi began to slow and his movements died down slowly as the pool became larger and larger.

"You see your kind has done this to us for thousands of years, cover our eyes and tell us everything is going to be ok while you kill us. But not today, today we are the farmers of our futures, and you are the slaughter we will need to commit to survive. And in the end, the sheep dies." the Jedi stopped moving and Hyde removed his hand from the dead man's eyes.

"Burn it to the ground."

"I'm here ta serve," Boomerang said with a mock salute, her voice throaty and garbled thanks to the modulator in her mask. Wiping the blood onto her pant leg to clean her weapon, the merc put it back in her sheath and withdrew her pistol. Muzzle pointed at the ground, she set it to the lowest power setting and began to walk towards the group of children. Most were trying to wake their teacher up; however, one child -- a young Iktotchi -- looked up at the approaching adult and her eyes widened. But before she could do anything, Tiola tilted her head and held a finger up to her mouth. "Ya scream, ya get burned, kid. Don't try it." Her other hand raised the pistol up to point at the group, most of whom were now looking at her.

She walked closer and gestured to the fallen Jedi. " 'E's already dead, kiddos. Might as well leave 'im. Now, I need you's to stand quietly while I bind ya. It'll be easier if you're docile, trust me." Since she had no rope on her, Tiola knelt down and withdrew a knife, cutting off strips of the dead Jedi's robes.

"Why're you doing this?" the Iktotchi asked, lower lip trembling. The Jumper paused in her task, twisting her head around to look at the youngling. A brief vision of the boy who haunted her flashed before her eyes as she replied, "Because, kid, life goes on an' the worlds go 'round, makin' room for the new by discardin' the old. You's just 'appened to get caught in the middle." She stood up, a handful of cloth pieces in her hand. "Now, line up in front of me." When no one made a move, Boomerang barked, "Now! Or I'll stun the lot of ya!"

The younglings flinched and jumped into line -- except for a Rodian male, who attempted to knock Tiola back with a Force Push. The merc stumbled back as the boy began to urge his fellow Jedi to run. Quick as a hiccup, though, she had her pistol out and shot the boy in his right shoulder, knocking him out.

Lethally calm, she reholstered her weapon and dragged the unconscious boy back to the group, tying his hands together before looking back up at the frightened younglings. "Don't look at me like that, I told ya I'd burn ya if ya ran. Now, line up again."

Without protest, the younglings lined up and Boomerang tied their hands one-by-one. As she bound the Iktotchi's hands, the merc caught the child stealing glances at the dead teacher. "Oi."

The child's head whipped back, eyes wide as he watched the Jumper. "Quit lookin' at 'im. 'E's dead, I told ya."

"S-sorry, miss." His lower lip trembled again, and when Boomerang finished with his hands she placed her own on his shoulder. Noting him flinch, the merc leaned in and whispered, "'E died quick, 'e did. Cut 'im right across the jugular vein, ya know where that is?" When the boy nervously shook his head, she drew a finger over her neck. "Right here. Bled out nice an' quick, with hardly a thought ta go through 'is mind. Understand?"

The child nodded, and Boomerang stood back up. "Alright, everyong gather 'round in a circle, right in front of me. We're leavin' this joint, since I don't want ta be caught inna fire."

"What about Rilo?"

"The Rodian? I got 'im, I got 'im." She bent down and tossed the body over her shoulder, and once again withdrew her pistol. "Now, c'mon, let's get goin' out of 'ere."

One...two...three...Boom!!!

A yellow cloud errupted at the steps of the Jedi academy. People all around began to choke on their own lungs, skin blistered and eyes bled from the chlorine gas that surrounded them.

Cyrus leapt crom the building adjacent, onto the second story balcony of the academy's North side. He could see inside that younglings and a few masters were huddled inside and seemed to be waiting to die.

Taking a step back, Cyrus pumped a few rounds from his SMG into the window and crashed theough it. Screams filled the air as the children panicked. The two Masters stepped forth and lit their blades. Hands under his cloak, the Nagai sprang forwards, low and quick, he darted towards the masters. At the last second, one of the Jedi shot out a blast of the Force, but it appeared to go around the masked extremist without harming him. Just as the Jedi reeled back in disbelief, from under the cloak, the tip of a vibrosword shot out and pierced the heart of the first Jedi. As he slouched into the killing blow, Cyrus spun, dislodging the sword and ducked under the secknd Jedi's attack, which decapitated his ally as he fell. From the knees, to the waist and finishing at the neck, Cyrus slashed and resheathed his sword and turned to the children.

Blood curdling screams filled the halls beyond the door...

"They're already dead Hyde, they just don't realize it yet." Jareth replied to Theodore via the mic in his mask as he led the crowd up the stairs to the higher levels of the temple. The Jedi above were no better organized than the ones below, each scrambling to help wounded comrades as the rioters began to close in with rugged weapons. Some tried to take a stand, some even struck lethal blows with lightsabers; but in the end they lacked the sheer numbers that Hyde's crowd possessed. The ones who ran were tackled and beaten, the ones who took a stand were overwhelmed and killed and soon all that would be left were the ones who had hidden away.

At the end of the long corridor that this madness was taking place in, an old woman was rushing a group of teens into a nearby room. Some bore the ponytails of padawns, while some looked to be knights who must have just completed their apprenticeship. Jareth's eyes locked onto them, cold crystals focused in like that of a hawks as he stalked forward. The old woman stopped as the last child was ushered through, then her entire body spun and her hand were thrown out in Oldron's direction...but not force push threw him away.

"Stop! Please just stop!" the wrinkled skin around her eyes tightened and she dropped to her knees. "I'm not going resist, do whatever you want to me. Jus-just don't hurt the students, they haven't done anything." her hands shot forward and clasped Jareth's hand, her thin fingers locking around his with tears the tears welting in her eyes.

Oldron didn't move an inch, his eyes just studied her face from behind the dark rims of his mask. The old woman pleaded for some time, Jareth didn't answer or seem to even be listening. After a few moments of silence from Jareth, the old Jedi simply stopped and looked up at the dead eyes of the murderer before her. Without a word, Jareth slowly withdrew a small holorecorder from his pocket and flipped it on. As the device sang to life, Jareth helped the elderly woman off the ground.

"There, there. Let it be known that today we didn't just indiscriminately kill. What is your name?" Jareth asked, pointing the recorder right in the woman's face. Her face was twisted, her eyebrow raised as she worked out what was happening in her head.

"Merideth" she answered with a defeated sigh, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath.

"Such a sweet name. Tell me, you have children in there? Children that you've-

"Kidnapped? Stolen? I've heard what you ignorant souls have been saying." the old woman snapped, her eyes still closed "I know what your going to do...so get it over with you monster" the elderly Jedi spoke with a calmness that most people could only dream to achieve, her demeanor relaxed and her hands neatly folded in front of her.

"Jedi queen doesn't even care to defend her crimes." Jareth taunted, "You know something, I had a son once. A child who was taken by the CIS's Templars. He was innocent too." Jareth's fist buried itself into the woman's throat, sending her tumbling back into the room where she had stored the children. There a series of panicked screams from inside as the old woman wheezed through her crushed pharynx. Taking an incendiary grenade from his belt, Jareth flashed the weapon to the camera for but a split second before arming it.

"My son was executed by Force Users, he was only eighteen. No one is innocent in war, especially not those who started it." The device bounced into the middle of the room and the door slammed shut behind it. Jareth backed up and filmed the door as fire spat out from under the door seal, a chorus of deafening screams echoing from within. It took only seconds for the screaming to turn into inhuman wailing and scratching at the door as the padawns tried to escape the fire; screaming like caged animals.

"No one is innocent." Jareth repeated as he lowered the camera and closed his eyes. "No one" he continued, stuffing the camera back into his pocket.
