STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Church & State: Being the son of the great Cardinal Pietro Demici, Cesare was taught the Ashlan faith in depth from a very young age. This, combined with teachings of statecraft, have turned him into a fine orator, though he opts to only use these skills when absolutely necessary.
Parry, Riposte: His Force ability has been honed as much as his mind since childhood, all in the hopes that he would make a proper heir to the Demici name. As such, he has become a uniquely talented duelist, having mastered several forms of lightsaber combat.
Rank & File: Cesare's journey away from his familial duties has led him into the ranks of the common soldier, making him quite popular among the soldiers of the Empire.
Prodigal Son: Stepping away from his inheritance has made him a bit of a black sheep within the Demici family, at least in the eyes of his father. This has caused a strong rift between him and the more faithful members of his family.
Wild Side: Cesare is known to be brash, arrogant, and quick to anger. These qualities have gotten him in trouble more than a few times, and will likely continue to put him into hot water for many years to come.
PERSONALITY:
Cesare is charming, brash, and all too eager to prove his worth outside of his family name. Beyond his charismatic exterior lies a strong sense of arrogance, a combination of his upbringing and his wish to defy it. He can be quick to anger, and is known to rush into conflict a bit too swiftly at times. All in all, he still maintains the potential to become a great leader, though whether he will ever be willing to accept that has yet to be seen.
APPEARANCE:
Cesare is, by all accounts, a handsome man. His nearly-regal countenance adds to his charismatic nature, a quality that can be attributed to his Demici heritage. Despite this, in all other manners the Cardinal's son comes across as more of an average person. He wears clothes for functionality, and though well-groomed, it is clear that he does not rely on servants for assistance. His noble stride is often accompanied by a certain swagger more common among soldiers and spacers, giving him a more personable nature to such individuals. Beyond this exterior lies a burning fire behind his dark, brown eyes, the same fire often attributed to his father.
BIOGRAPHY:
The life of a Demici is one of wealth and privilege, but also one of duty. These qualities were heavily imparted upon Cesare Demici since he was a small boy. Being the heir to the good Cardinal's name, there was a certain set of expectations set before him. Through his youth, Cesare had little time for a social life, having been forced into studies of faith and state, a strong effort from his father to eventually turn him into a man worthy of carrying the family name. This worked, for a time, until the young Demici began to come into manhood. As he reached his teen years, Cesare had grown weary of his studies, instead turning to combat as a new interest. He began learning the art of the lightsaber, hoping to one day rival the best of duelists. While this displeased his father to an extent, the Cardinal embraced his son's endeavors, providing him with instructors to assist him in learning the art of war. Fate wouldn't be kind to their relationship, however, and the two would eventually become estranged.
When Pietro answered the call of Ashla, he was forced to leave his family behind, stirring a great bitterness within Cesare. Eventually, the young man began to question his faith, as well as many of the lessons imparted onto him by his father. He began spending time in the local bars, listening to stories of adventure and grandeur from spacer and soldier alike. He took a liking to the rabble, and the more he spent time with them, the more his own sense of adventure grew. This eventually led the young Demici leaving his home, hoping to find a cause of his own. He eventually found that calling within the ranks of the Imperial Knights, joining and rising through their ranks quickly. He also made close relationships with many of the troops within the Imperial ranks, having taken the interactions of his youth with him. He is now a beloved member of the Empire, leading troops into the fray and fighting alongside his fellow knights in an effort to bring order to a chaotic galaxy.
