The Imperial City was bustling with activity, the citizens were organising to celebrate the Emperor's rule and his continued prosperity that he has brought to their world. The Inquisitors were out on patrol, several were roaming around the streets to ensure there were no assassins or Jedi attempting to attack the Emperor on this glorious day that was meant to be celebrating his achievements. Leading a patrol was Darth Wallgof, his smirk was hidden behind his mask, the Sith Lord was watching those preparing to celebrate his alter ego. It was amusing to watch and no one had cotton onto the fact that it was a Sith Lord building an Empire that was using Force Users.

Inhaling deeply, he was unsure of what he needed to be doing with the expansion of his small empire. It had always been his plan to rule over the Sith but since his discussions with Srina Talon Srina Talon , Wallgof had been thinking more about ensuring the Sith developed into a united people. Standing together to fight the Jedi as a fist, instead splayed out fingers. His control over Naga Sadow was also helped by the Sith Empress, she had silenced the ghost in his mind. This had been a massive adjustment for Wallgof since he had been so used to hearing the voices of Naga Sadow, influencing his decisions. To have that now gone, it freed his mind. Wallgof had been able to study, to read and to grow his powers even more. Learning the art of Sith Magic and strengthening his abilities to dominate and break the minds of those Jedi.

It also meant that he had to strengthen his own defences, while sanity brought mostly positives into his life, the insanity had provided a protection from the mental attacks of others. How could they trick him or manipulate him when he was not the only voice in his head. Now, Wallgof was ensuring his mental fortitude was stronger than ever, this also would make it harder for Naga to attempt to take over control. The more that Wallgof ensured he had the strongest foundations, the less he would have to rely on Naga to possess his body. It was steps towards being the powerful Sith Lord he had always dreamt of, sane, in control and just as deadly as he had been insane.

He would show all those who dare to stand against him how they will suffer.

His fist clenched as Wallgof thought about his revenge. His dreams of domination by the Sith. How he would approach this goal.

To think he was to meet an Emperor that he did not fear. Oh, that was not to say that the man was not to be feared, only, simply that the man was not Kaine or Empyrean. He knew little of the man, the one they called Darth Wallgof Darth Wallgof , the parasite in his mind was no clear aid in that either, apparently having never met the man herself while she still lived. What he had heard though was enough to consider him formidable enough, a hulk in beskar armour, who ruled on Zygerria, home to the once grand Zygerrian Slave Empire. Near the Stygian Caldera, but as far as he could tell, free from Kainite influence. He employed Inquisitors but as far as he could tell, was safe from Tsis'Kaar influence. He even had some sort of relationship with the Empress, but as far as he could tell, was free from the Eternalists too.

Such a man, who called himself Emperor, who seemed independent of all factions but his own, yet had not been killed by any of them for such insolence.

Well, to put it frankly he was certainly a man to meet.

A man to ally if all things went well.

Thus far he had little luck in finding him though, Zygerria was a good bet as any, he had travelled to Ymedrol City, what some called Imperial City. He had ventured as far as the Imperial Palace before disengaging, something felt entirely wrong about the situation, as he walked through the streets, invisible to both eyes seen and unseen. The Zygerrians and Humans who dominated this world seemed to be in the midst of celebration and preparation for that celebration, from what chatter he had picked up it was some sort of festival, to honour the Emperor's rule.

An odd tradition and custom, but he was not one to judge how others ruled their worlds unless it was truly wasteful and rancorous.

Neither seemed to be the case here, and a little pride caused little harm for a ruler, and perhaps a ruler, a good one, needed it at times.

Still such helped him little, it was a layman's hope that he would reveal himself for the festival, but still, he had nothing else to do.

That was until he felt something change in the air.

A presence of darkness all too familiar between Sith Lords.

Red eyes gazed up and saw a figure with an inquisitor's helm in the distance.

It couldn't be, right?

Yet there was the signature as clear as ever.

Malum let both his force cloaks fall, as passed by the man, a whisper underneath his breath, "Darth Malum, of House Marr at your service, Darth Wallgof, perhaps we might find a place to speak?" And with that question, Malum bypassed the man entirely, moving off to some back alley, hoping that his query would follow.

A strange figure approached Wallgof as he wandered the streets in public. Parading as an Inquisitor to hide the true intentions of the Empire, to hide the fact a Sith was ruling the Empire and a Sith was there to cause the downfall of the Galactic Alliance and their Jedi by using people's love for order, for imperial control when it was packaged in friendlier language.

When he was called Darth and asked to walk into an alleyway, he followed and his aura was annoyed and he was furious that someone dared to attempt to ruin his cover, to ruin the empire he was building to house a Sith to operate in the shadows. To guide the imperialistic desires of people without them feeling forced or oppressed. That they choose the imperialistic life. "I am Grand Inquisitor Wallgof. There are no Sith in the Imperial Order." He stated firmly but followed the Sith into the alleyway.

"This empire works because the common folk believe that this is an empire against all Force Users, they do not understand the true intentions." He started from behind his mask, "what is it that you wish to speak with me about?" His arms crossed over his chest as he looked over the other Sith Lord.

Malum raised an eyebrow at the answer, Grand Inquisitor? That was a lofty claim, perhaps even claiming a position above his battlebrother, the Lord Inquisitor, Ali- Darth Strosius Darth Strosius . It likely lent credence to the theory that whatever Inquisition existed out here, it was different in loyalty and hierarchy to the one that existed in the rest of the Empire.

Most curious.

Malum turned on his heel, his dark cloak billowing in the wind at his wake, sensing the annoyance and fury that seemed to flow out of the man, as if the air itself had become caustic.

Not the greatest first impression, nor the one he had intended to make.

"My apologies, as you wish, Grand Inquisitor Wallgof." Malum offered by way of redress.

He tilted his head up, to gaze into the masked depths, truly that might have been the greatest irony, both men who commanded inquisitions, made such great efforts to hide their faces. Still, even as Malum mused that though, his ears listened to his opposite's words.

So that was his game, huh?

"A most intriguing plan, Grand Inquisitor..." One Malum fundamentally disagreed with, yet, there would be no good in revealing that now, still, he could not help but imagine Eternalist precepts would have served well here, the commoners, the non-force sensitives, knew exactly how they should treat their betters.

Alas, this was another way.

"...As for my intentions, I wished to discuss some sort of alliance, if you were willing."

He nodded his head, while his plan was bold and there was no guarantee that he would be close to be successful, Wallgof was pleased with his plan and he was determined to give his best in order to demonstrate the folly of the Jedi. They had been an unchecked power in the galaxy for far too long in his mind. While they were always ones who succumbed to their own weaknesses and ideological flaws, left unchecked and allowed to garner political strength, the ability to take them down would always be made much harder.

"An alliance is always something that I am open to. I believe that we must unite as a people. Divided and we just leave ourselves too open for the Jedi to attack." Wallgof stated, he then looked around and breathed out slowly. The alleyway was not the place to discuss such matters. "Follow me. I will take you to the Imperial Palace. There we can discuss more without risk of being overheard."

Wallgof then led the way, marching forward with command and grace that befitted the role he was playing to be. He was demonstrating his ability to act and blend within the crowd perfectly.

Well as naive as his intentions were, at least those intentions were for an act that Malum could approve of, at least tentatively. Even if, the methods in which he intended to achieve them were far from... well it was odd, for a Sith it was surprising for once that he disapproved on the basis of the lie being told, rather than for it being wanton cruelty.

He supposed... that was a good thing?

Still, it made pursuing this alliance a rather more mixed opportunity, yet, as another point in this Darth's favour, he seemed not only willing to consider the possibility but also to take him into much kinder accommodation than this alleyway allowed. Of course, Malum was far from certain if that was a good thing for him.

On one hand, negotiations undertaken in such darkness, rarely held a great chance for success.

On the otherhand, his opposite's palace was where his strength was greatest, a trap there would have the greatest chance of success, and Malum would be walking right into it, voluntarily.

It was a risk he would have to take it seemed, Darth Wallgof turning his head, showing his back to him, and marching away.

"Lead the way, Grand Inquisitor," Malum answered, following behind, though keeping a healthy enough distance, lest prying eyes be watching, and for one that called themselves Emperor, even if secretly... though gazing about, it was far from secret, eyes were always watching.
