Like the rest of the clones, for now, the genetic base of the clones is a tightly controlled secret of Kamino.

CC-55118 was one of many clones that were created on Kamino in the wake of new leadership taking charge. It was determined that Kamino itself had relied too heavily on outside defenders in its past and that going forward Kamino would need its own defense force capable of repelling attacks against the planet. Having excelled at both the command courses as well as the core infantry courses CC-55118 was granted overall command over the Kaminoan Defense Force, answering only to the Ruling Council and the Prime Minister. As of the Declaration of War against the Agents of Chaos by the Viceroyalty, the Defense Forces under his command now actively serve as part of the Confederate Defense Force until such time as hostilities are ended.
