Description: The CB-02 blaster pistol is a simple double-barreled blaster that is fairly easy to use. Squeeze back for one shot, pull farther for the second, unlatch barrels and swing up to empty and reload cells.
The cells are positioned so that the power cells are directly in the line of energy excitement, making every shot hot and painful to the recipient. However, what with the short barrel and all, the effective range is lowered, making this a close quarters pistol. That has been taken into account what with the shortened stock and barrel, till a more-or-less optimal length-to-range ratio had been established.
The large-barreled design of the pistol means that the blast expands (similar to a shotgun) to cover a wide range without having to worry about accuracy - i.e. they can whip the pistol out of their jacket and swing it around, pulling the trigger at random. However, the decreased range means that this pistol is good only for close-quarters combat. That, and you're out of shots after 6 blasts. The pistol's generally small size means that it can be hidden fairly easily, but also means that reloading is a pain in the neck. BUT it was seen a worthy sacrifice.

Lets see... shotgun type blast radius... blaster pistol... high damage, low ammo count.

Considering that most blaster pistols can get about 100+ shots out of a power cell, I suppose this weapon would pack a bit of a punch.

Regardless, approved.
