History before service: Cavris Lyran was born into a Imperial military family, his family constantly moving to be with his father, Commander K. Lyran, who was in charge of numerous crucial military operations. Due to constant movements his education was sparse, however he was shown to prove to be a quick thinker and would often play strategic based games with his peers when enabled. Carvis eventually went to a Imperial school where he was tested to see if he had any aptitude in the Force, these tests were reported as negative. Following this, he was guided through system with the idea of being test in his military capabilities. By the time he reached sixteen, he was reported to have extensive weapon training give by his father, as well as training in knife combat, hand to hand combat and minor first aid training.
History during service: At 18, Cavris was enlisted into the Imperial Military Academy, he was a strong recruit. His test scores during combat training were extremely high, he was able to complete combat scenarios set for commandos and elite soldiers. However, his test scores through theory exams were surprising low, his instructors had great difficulty understanding how this genius in the battlefield was below average outside it. Due to this, it was recommended that instead of being in a commanding position that he was positioned at the front line, possibly a private within a commando unit. However, any promotion would be likely shot down.
This lead to him being assigned to a squad of forty or so men and women, ordered to fight on front lines and destroy enemy bases. Even though he watched several hundreds of men and women die on the battlefield he would be constantly fighting to the very end, fortunate enough to not be in many loses and helped succeed the Empire in gaining many planets through his skills and determination. His father passed when he was 26, killed in action. This news hit the private hard and he started taking more dangerous risks and recklessly putting his life on the line for what would seem like needless victories.
He was given a promotion in hopes that his behaviour and service to Empire would change for the better. Thankfully it did and he was given a command of thirty imperial soldiers. For a year he was tasked with front line battles and retaking control of Imperial lost planets. His successes gained the attention of higher ups, who sent him on a very dangerous mission to a planet with a known Jedi presence, they informed him of the high risks and the danger that the Jedi posed but Cavris was eager to prove himself and his troops.
They set off to the planet, the initial space battle was intense but Cavris's troops were able to land at their drop zone, unfortunately they were the only ones to make it in that area, which was meant to have at least another ten drop ships. This lead to a gruelling ground fight that grew worse when three Jedi entered the battle, it went from a war to a massacre in mere moments. Cavris survived the battle but he lost hearing, movement in his left leg was severely limited and his left arm was severed at the elbow by a lightsaber. Thanks to cybernetics and a robotic arm he was able to seek a return into service. However, after several psych evaluations it was clear that the trauma that he endured during the battle had made him a liability. It was determined that he suffered with PTSD.
Records on Private after leave: He was reported to have spent his life in remote planets away from civilisation and any battles. However, in this isolation it was recorded that he had gained a severe hatred of the Jedi and the Republic. Knowingly setting traps and killing several Jedi and Republic troops. He has been proven ready to return to action if the Empire were willing to move past his possible insanity.
