OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: A big mean weapon for people in big mean power armor.
  • Canon Link: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Primary Source: N/A
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Sword
  • Size: Very Large
  • Weight: Very Heavy
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Superheated radioactive blade
STRENGTHS
  • Can chop through most kinds of armour. A great choice if you, as a walking tank, need to carve your way into your fellow walking tank. As a general rule of thumb, a Radchopper used by someone in power armor will dig into or breach just about anything short of high-end beskar/phrik/alchemical metal.
  • Can melt or ignite many substances, e.g. plasteel, duraplast, or thin durasteel.
WEAKNESSES
  • Too large and heavy for efficient use by most species if they aren't wearing power armour.
  • Will blunt and/or deform quickly; needs to be sharpened or even fully replaced after each battle.
  • Gives off significant amounts of radiation when activated. Anyone who's not wearing suitable protection (e.g. heavy power armour) might come down with a sunburn or cancer.
  • A direct hit from an EMP grenade, Force lightning, or something comparable could overload the radiation generators and melt the blade to slag.
DESCRIPTION
Many of Autocrat Xzaien Xzaien 's finest troops wear heavy power armour. Jurgoran Forge designed the Radchopper as a one-handed weapon for those soldiers. Azel Moran's metallurgists developed a Dallorian alloy variant that could hold some of its structural integrity even at extreme temperatures. Then they forged that alloy into large chopping blades, and inserted radiation generators capable of superheating them. Though Jurgoran Forge couldn't manufacture them in quantities sufficient for every single Catharian trooper who uses power armour, Moran's people made enough Radchoppers to outfit elite units, officers, and so forth. The Radchoppers first saw use during the final days of the invasion of Bogo Rai, and since then the Catharian marines have put them through their paces in any number of brutal engagements.

I'm going to need more clarification here, specific details in terms of what armor would be resistant to a blow from these blades. Which substances would be resistant to being lit aflame due to this weapons properties. Explain these things with the mind that your readers don't know what a superheated radioactive blade looks like.
