Strengths:
  • Veteran of War (Cathaoir has seen multiple battles and skirmishes in his lifetime and as such has learned from his trials. He is a master in the overall strategy of battlefield tactics and troop deployments)
  • Battle Hardened (Cathaoir was raised within Mandalorian culture and therefore has trained in the Art of War and Combat since he could first walk. Battle and conflict is in his blood)
  • Marksman (Cathaoir has been firing weapons for as long as he has been able to walk and as such has mastered a wide array of firearms)

Another Day, Another Ordo:
Cathaoir was born to Merrith and Oranth Ordo late in the year 819 ABY within the Ordo homestead of the outer rim planet of Ordo. Just as with any child born into the clan, Cathaoir was immediately immersed into the Mandalorian culture, including the seven tenets included under the Resol'nare. He trained daily in the various combat forms and likewise in the use of a wide variety of weaponry to include firearms, explosives and melee weaponry.

From an early age, Cathaoir took and affinity to the art of combative practices, and excelled in every facet, often spending extended hours in the training yard to perfect his art. He took a particular liking to the art of the melee, enjoying the innate strength and advantage his large frame gave him. It was a given from early on that the man would become an unstoppable force on the field of battle and an elite warrior within his clan's ranks.

Seeds of War:
He was only a teenager when he got his first real taste of combat and he relished it. On that first day, he charged headstrong into the heart of the battle and emerged victorious. His prowess and determination, and brute savagery on the field of battle was unlike anything that anyone had ever expected from him, but it quickly earned him a respect and reputation as the singular up and coming warrior within the clan ranks.

By the time the next conflict rolled around, Cathaoir’s reputation put him in the front lines yet again and for the young Mandalorian, still a teenager, the leadership position bestowed upon him was one of great honor and significance. Though to achieve it, his long time mentor and friend, Sammael, had passed on the field of battle. This loss weighed heavily on the man, but he was forced to press through. War did stop when a friend passed and neither could he.

A week would pass before Cathaoir would find himself face to face with the very Sith Lord that felled his mentor alongside the woman who would one day become his wife and the Australis chieftain, Kaine. The battle that ensued would be a long one which nearly saw all three of the battle worn Mandalorians defeated and killed, however, if only by chance, a shot would finally topple the raging Sith. The shot that forced the Sith to stumble proved to be the opening the three needed to finally subdue and end the man around which this entire conflict had wage.

The Embers of Love:
It was sometime after that period that Cathaoir settled and married a woman he'd been close with for years. A young Mandalorian named Tireya. For the two of them, it appeared to be a match made by Kad, himself, as the two were what some might consider a "power couple" for lack of a better description. Both were astute in the field of combat and leaders among their clan in their own right. It seemed like something straight out of a fairy tale.

About a year would pass before the two would give birth to their first child, a boy which they named Conall. About three years afterward, the two would have their second child, a girl they called Rin. Tireya would die, however, giving birth to their daughter.

The Ultimate Test:
It seems, though, that all great things eventually had to come to an end and that was no different for Cathaoir. From an early age, his daughter exhibited the signs of Force Sensitivity, a trait highly frowned upon within the clan and a trait that with the present Alitt'alor enacted a death sentence should such things be discovered. Together, he and his wife tried to shield their daughter from such things, but the knew her Force Sensitivity could only be kept under wraps for so long. And thus this brought the two to the ultimate decision.

On one hand they could choose to continue and try and shelter the girl for some time. Shield her from the death sentence that threatened to be levied without warning should she slip up. On the other the could attempt to send her away for a better life. This decision was very difficult for the two as it would be any parent. They loved their daughter very much, but also wanted to afford her the best life possible. And so their decision was made.

They ultimately sent Rin away, exiling her from the Clan and from Mandalorian space as a whole.

Father and Son:
With it just being Cathaoir and his son, Conall, now the dynamic in the family was shattered. And it was only through the continuous wars and skirmishes that the two finally pressed through though terrible events.
