Catching Fire [Sith Empire & Fel Imperium]

Other Space Kaiden

Better than other-other space Kaiden
(With OOC permission from Sith leadership, the Fel have started a widespread rebellion in Sith space)
The deep void of space appeared before the Imperial-Class Star Destroyer of the Fel Navy as the hyperdrive was disengaged and the ship appeared above the orbit of Bastion. The planet's navy had all retreated from the planet to fight the Republic and Mando incursions, which left the Fel with a prime opportunity to deal the final dagger to the heart of the Sith. Just as with every other tyrannical empire before it, the Sith Empire would fall apart from the inside out. As soon as he was healed enough to resume combat operations, Ronin took his Phoenix Legion and what men he could muster and headed out for the fringes of Sith Space where the military was lightest. He, like Roan before him, would ride to Bastion and liberate it from tyranny while his CELL operatives sparked rebellions on other planets around Sith space. By the time the Sith realized what was happening, they would already be neck deep in angry slaves and peasants wielding state of the art Royal Stormtrooper armor and blasters courtesy of the kind and wise Imperator of the Fel Imperium.

When all was said and done, the slaves of the Empire would be freed and overwhelming support would be placed in the Imperator and his ability to lead. Then, just like that, they could forget about the outskirts of the galaxy and what Vassek had to offer in exchange for the capital of his ancestors. Once again, the Fel would be the ultimate power of the lightside in the galaxy that brought peace, justice and hope to all who fell under its rule. Plans were already in place with the Madnolorains and the Republic who were busy keeping the Sith distracted as Ronin led his loyal soldiers to Bastion and beyond. This would be a historic event that history would never forget and Ronin's name would be forever written in the stars for what he was about to do.

Standing on the bridge of his personal ship, Ronin folded his hands behind his back and under his flowing purple cape with the gold lining and the sliver Imperium Insignia stitched into the center. The Imperator breathed deeply, his ghost blue prosthetic eye slowly scrolling over the Sith planet below and taking in the sight. It was breath taking to think about how this planet was once the site of his ancestor's glory and where Roan made his stand against evil after Darth Krayt took over his Empire...and now it would be apart of Ronin's legacy. A soft smile sprawled out across Ronin's wrinkled lips and gave new life to his old, leathery face that still held the emotional wounds from his encounter with the whale Sith on Manaan.

Turning around, his cape fluttering through the air, Ronin looked to his Communications Officer, "Bradly, what is the status of our agent's hacking attempts?"

"Our agents report in that the holonet and broadcasting signals of every planet from Bastion to Telos have been successfully infiltrated, my liege." the officer reported with a strict discipline

"And the weapon caches?" Ronin asked with his own strict tone of formality

"All agents are prepared for weapons deployment and splinter factions of rebels are already prepared."

Perfect, then everything the Fel required was ready, "Notify them to begin transmission and place me onscreen." Ronin commanded as he marched to the holoprojector room of the ship and stepped onto the silver plate that sat in the middle of the darkened room. It took only a few moments before a large hologram began to appear before him, depicting the planets that were hacked one by one as the agents began transmission from across the galaxy. Soon, any device using the holonet and any screen on every planet from Bastion to Telos would be showing Ronin's face.

Ronin cleared his throat and with a voice as inspirational as Palpatine's and with words as wise and noble sounding as Grand Master Tefka's, he began "Poor souls of the Empire, today the oppression that has been the rule of the Sith is at an end! For too long, you have been forced to live in the shadow of an Empire that wishes nothing more than to keep you locked under the boot of their power but the Fel Imperium has arisen once more! Fear is their power, my brothers, so show them that you no longer fear them! Show them all that your fear has been replaced by hope and that hope has sparked the fires of rebellion that will burn their dark empire to ashes so that the Phoenix may arise from the ruins and bring light to this dark corner of the galaxy! The Sith can only take your lives, but they can never take your soul and they can never rip the spirit of the lightside from your hearts! Look upon my face and see the damage done to me by the Sith! My confrontation with them has left me scarred, but my resolve has never been stronger! Fear not death, fear not destruction for with the power of the lightside and the Fel by your side you cannot be defeated! Raze their temples to the ground and raise the flag of freemen above Dromund Kaas! To war! To freedom!" just as Ronin was about to continue the second part of his speech a prompt came up upon the hologram that notified him that Imperial Intelligence had been able to regain control of the signals and locked him out. That was to be expected but it mattered not, the fire had been lit and the people had been rallied.

Walking out of the room, Ronin turned back to the bridge and called to the Communications Officer, "Notify the Praetorian that I will be in the hanger shortly and to make sure that the Phoenix Legion is prepared for drop, Bastion is freed today."

Zrash'toul'frusku

Phoenix Legion's General
Zrash had the Phoenix Legion preparing in the hanger. The men were orderly marching fro and to, gathering weapons and preparing ships. He stood in the center of the hanger, shouting orders now and then as they mustered at a quick but effective pace. he was now clad in his silver Phoenix Officer's uniform. It wasn't really silver, more of a pale grey that had a very gentle sheen to it. They had been ordered upon by their Imperator, the man they had all swore their lives to.

Everything was soon in place. Zrash shouted a booming order which echoed across the hanger bay and the fully armored, armed, and prepared Phoenix Legion boarded their gunships and awaited the order to drop. The Chiss on the other hand moved to stand by the entryway to the Imperator's shuttle with his trusted Infinite Squad with him. Those four soldiers had themselves a place as his personal deployment and protection squad. He then spoke over his comm to the Imperator. "Sire, Phoenix as well as your shuttle is prepped and ready, any final orders?"

The Imperator marched up to his trusted General, Zrash, and as he moved in to the Chiss he was systematically flanked on either side by four Praetorian Guards. The guards followed in silence beside their Imperator, who walked straight up to Zrash with an all business look scrolled across his elderly features "We are to drop immediately, Bastion shall be the start of my new legacy. Are the men prepared?"

"Commander Jae'Koris reporting for duty, my Imperator." a voice from the distance muttered. Commander Jae'Koris of Deilos jumped down from her seated position atop a crate in the hanger. Jae had walked up to Ronin and Zrash in her normal suit of laminanium Deilosian armor, followed by two Deilosian commandos. "Just give the word and I'll be planetside." Jae carried with her a decent assortment of weaponry that would prove useful today.

A C90 Corvette jumped out of hyperspace next to the great Star Destroyer, in which Ronin Fel had arrived. Aboard the Corvette were Cell troopers and Explosives that were transported here to destroy the Graug Hollows. The Commander of the C90 was a Verpine Scientist going by the name Zrs'fes. He had been assigned to help in this attack on the Sith Empire. ''Zrs'fes reporting. Assets arrived and prepared. Orders?'' The Verpine's voice could be heard over the Imperator's personal communicator.

Animus pulled the mask down over his face, the durasteel ballistic mask. He adjusted the straps on his ballistic vest, and rubbed his bare arms. They showed his tattoos well, and the T-Shirt allowed him to move quickly, even with the added weight. Adjusting the rifle across his chest, he chimed into the comms, checking over the few agents he had with him. He was just checking, he never worked with a team. Slowed him down. He moved the mask up, before speaking.

"Agent Animus, standing by for orders."

He wanted to know what he would be doing planet-side, genuinely.

Phoenix Legion's General
Zrash could never be accused of not running a tight shift. He and his Squad instantly popped into attention as their mighty Imperator approached. He noted Ronin's business face and his behaviorism. While some Commanders may have been insulted at being addressed like that, the Chiss was used to it. He had spent years honing his discipline and a superior acting as such was one thing that didn't harm his pride. "Yes, My liege, the Legion is ready for full scale deployment. We have armor being prepped for a second surge and your shuttle is prepared. Infinite will be under your personal order once we reach Bastion, though will follow my command unless given instruction by you, sir." He was curt and polite, a military man and politician.

And then the Deilosian showed up and his face tightened into a scowl that could hardly be seen. He was irritated that she had, though apparently, still working for her local military had just jumped the command structure and spoke directly to the Imperator without going through officers or even him, himself to get to the High Command. Though he'd wait for Ronin to address her and the Agent pipping over the comms, they were both out of his jurisdiction of command. For now...

"Perfect, General, I look forward to your victory." Ronin said in his same business calm as the other reports began to flow in over his communicator and the female, Jae'Koris, gave her notification of readiness "Good, Jae, very good."

Turning his commlink to the universal network, Ronin spoke to all of his subjects at once as Ion Cannon fire began to cut through the void of space and towards the Fel ships "Attention, this is the Imperator, Zrs,fes will be moving to destroy the tunnel networks under Bastion that our scans picked up. Animus, you will be moving to the Imperial Palace onsite and capture the acting governor of the planet and force him to order a surrender." turning back to Zrash, Ronin nudged toward the dropship and began to ascend into it.

Zrash boarded the dropship after Ronin and his Praetorian did and the CELL Squad Infinite followed. He looked over his datapad briefly and examined every shuttle and gunship status on the board. They were all green, just on time. His voice soon echoed over the comms. "This is Phoenix General Zrash'toul'frusku. Drop on my mark. Three... Two... One... Drop! Drop! Operation is a-go." With that the drop ships sped out off the hanger in an orderly manner towards the ground. The ship Fel and Zrash were on would in the line out of the metal mass of the

"Make these Sith pay Phoenix! Show them the fires our resurrection and carry with you the voice of your Imperator!" Mid-way through the drop the shuttles began splitting into groups, moving to land in various places throughout the city to capture key points and structures as the bulk of the Legion faced down the already weakened defensive force. It may still end up a slogging battle, but unlike Manaan the odds were certainly in their favor this swing around. They would capture Bastion's capitol within the next few hours in all ideal conditions.

Animus smiled beneath his mask, a sickening smile. As good as he was at what he did, there was a sort of air about him. Creepy. He checked his weapons, and clipped them to his chest. He clipped the comm to his ear, and looked around."And if he is non-cooperating, terminate?"He said bluntly, rolling his neck. The durasteel studs on his gloves would come in handy later, that was for sure. He was looking forward to actually doing something other than backwater assassinations and clean-up duties. He was good at them, but they were belittling his skillset in the Republic.

Besides, Fel had a better dental plan anyway.
