A Problem On Two Legs

- Frightening Countenance
- Hollow Body
- Potentially Haunted? The Jury Is Still Out.
- Products resonate strongly with negative emotions, making them possibly useful foci for Sith rituals, Nightsister spells, etc.
- Hollow internal structure and unsettling design make products useful for smuggling purposes (no one wants to touch them).
- The Horrifying Pig Things have a habit of moving under their own power at inopportune times. The skeptical may assume this is due to the slightly misshapen wheels common among the various models. The superstitious may assume they are haunted. Who can say?
The collection of products reluctantly filed in Anomalous Antiquities records as "Horrifying Pig Things" are of unknown provenance. It is unclear which culture produced them, during which time period, or for what purpose. The Antiquities team has multiple competing theories: several members of the refurbishing crew believe they are ritual foci, or perhaps intended as traps for angry spirits. The founder has a much more grim hypothesis: that these relics were intended as childrens' toys. That a culture might produce children which find these items endearing is too terrifying a thought for many members of the team, and so some dismiss this idea for their own sakes. Adding to the dark ritual object hypothesis are the circumstances of their discovery, as the Horrifying Pig Things simply appeared within the Anomalous Antiquities warehouse one rainy Nar Shaddaa night, with no entry in the ledger or proof of tampering with the warehouse's security.
Regardless of purpose or provenance, the Horrifying Pig Things are a collection of roughly six hundred and fifty small, wheeled sculptures depicting an unidentified porcine species. Each is roughly the size of an akk pup, and they are all hollow within the the body and head.
