............So the thing about chasing down a Shi'ido was you never really knew what they looked like. Damned shapeshifters. Of course, that made them perfect spies, saboteurs, assassins...or run of the mill fugitives. Hence Vero Cabano, real name: Carno Belask, speeding through the street on a hoverbike being chased by a man in a speeder, weaving through the incoming traffic with a dexterity that could only have come with assistance from the Force. Just Carno's luck to finally be hunted down by a Forcer of all people. He'd thought he'd left the smuggler's life behind him, but as the saying goes 'the past catches up to you'.
............Carno wasn't even sure what this guy wanted. When the man had approached him, he mentioned something about some Sith Artifacts he'd smuggled for a pretty credit chit years ago. Well, Carno saw the saber and didn't exactly wait to find out anymore. Guy had bolted first chance he got. Jedi, Dark Sider. Either was bad news. One would probably arrest him for the rest of his life, the other might kill him, or threaten him into service or something. Carno didn't know which was worse.
............Didn't matter right now anyways though. As luck would have it, the Shi'ido saw the perfect escape route...

............Though Dax wasn't exactly the best at commanding frigates, small fighters and speeders were just up his alley. The Judge was pulling some questionably dangerous maneuvers as he chased down his quarry. He hadn't even had the chance to ask any question before the Changeling got up and ran.
............Dax just wanted some information damn it, why did everyone always run once they saw the sabers? He'd have to leave them behind next time...
............All that was in the past for now though. The hoverbike took a hard right, nearly running over a young-looking human man as it curved into the alleyway. Too small for a speeder car to squeeze into...unless.
............"Oh, I hope this fething works," Dax muttered as he pulled the same hard right turn, pulling the speeder car onto it's side in an attempt to squeeze into the alleyway and out to the other side. The sound of metal scraping against the building's walls split the air as the cabin rumbled and shook violently until...it all came to a screeching halt.
............"Damn it!" Dax shouted as he slammed steering wheel, and obnoxious honk echoing on all sides before the man turned and kicked what was once the left-side door open. "Stupid bosh'tet..." he grumbled as he climbed out. "Just had a couple questions..."
