DESCRIPTION
Castor and Pollux are hand forged knives made by Kaden Farr as a gift for Daisy Americus. The blades are fashioned out Beskar, an ore from Mandalore itself. They boast a rustic look, not the polished blade of a professional with all the machinery to smooth and buff the steel. The blemishes and hammer blows visible in the metal give it them personal character.
The handles are made of wood taken from a Veshok Tree, also native to Mandalore. Even though Daisy was from Concord Dawn, the materials come from a place her feet would never be allowed to step without certain restrictions because of her ability to use the force. Alternating dark and light stripes were stained into the handle design, sanded meticulously smooth by Kaden himself.
The gift itself seems basic in appearance aside from the obvious work which went into them. What makes them valuable is the connection the material has to Mandalore, a piece of the homeworld that Daisy can carry with her at all times, a connection.
