STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Brave and capable, Cassus Thorn is what some people would call the 'perfect being' of the order, at least from the outside. He has made himself look like a fearless being, a person not afraid of death or capture, and someone whom had learned to elude both of them for some time now. A courageous leader, Thorn's abilities with a lightsaber have been tested time and time again. A very determined champion against darkness, Cassus has seen his fair share of fights, and has a very credible past with his blade, and the force as his ally.
Of course, as every character in this galaxy has, this decisive Jedi has his faults. He can be seen as eager, especially in his younger days, when he enjoyed leading the charge against the Sith and Imperials, the love of combat almost consumed him. He can be seen as over-protective, almost fanatical, about preserving the Jedi Order and their ways. He can be seen as a ruthless leader, often commanding those under his orders to spare none, as the enemy would be given the same order.

THE BIRTH OF A HERO[/SIZE]
"Congratulations, Leon, it's a boy!"
The first words spoken into Cassus' existence, from the Dr. Welk, to Cassus' parents, Leon and Alicia Thorn, two common Kiffars in a world of them, they weren't rich, but they also weren't poor. Alicia was a secretary for a famous lawyer, and Leon was once a Kiffar Guardian, crippled in a prisoner uprising, he didn't have enough money to afford the replacement of his left eye, and was re-located to a much lower-level security, running patrols on small-time petty thieves, almost like a local sheriff.
Cassus was a late bloomer, not being found by the Jedi until he was about four years old, when an older Jedi master came to his home, visiting Leon and Alicia, explaining to them just exactly what their son could be, a protector of the good in the world, the training he would get, the life of not only a warrior, but a diplomat and a scholar. Of course, after some convincing, the loving couple decided to give up their only child, to give him a better life... maybe they were wrong.

THE JEDI YOUNGLING[/SIZE]
"The life of a Jedi is one filled with discipline, respect, and reward."
At the young age of eight, Cassus began his training, basic feeling of the force, meditation, and even some basic saber-play, he was in a relatively small class, or so it seemed, ten children, eager to learn the ways of the Jedi. None of them really knew what it meant to actually become a Jedi, though. None of them knew the pains and hardships that they would be forced to endure.
Cassus stood out during his years as a youngling, noticeably faster, stronger, and more capable with a training lightsaber than the other children, he easily dominated the other younglings, and even put up a fight for some of the Padawans.

THE JEDI PADAWAN YEARS[/SIZE]
"Cassus, remember your training!"
At the young age of thirteen, Cassus had been selected by Jedi Master Tronto Mason, a Jedi Master whom had been around for some time, known for his abilities with a blade, Tronto and Cassus would be a great fit for one another.
For the first few years, Cassus was stuck in the temple, often being left by his master in the temple because the missions were 'too dangerous' to bring a child along with him, but finally - at the age of sixteen, Cassus would see his first action. Going out with his Master to Onderon, to help them solve, in a peaceful way, a dispute between two large gangs, which both posed a threat to Onderon's military, especially in Iziz. Needless to say, the two succeeded, and Cassus took his first step into the life of a Jedi, a servant of the light.
From sixteen, until the age of twenty-one, Cassus went on several missions with Tronto, each of them getting considerably more difficult, until in his last mission he lost his master. A long drawn-out duel ended with the death of three sith warriors, and a sith master - and the death of Jedi Master Tronto Mason, a brave man whom spared his life to allow Cassus time to escape the grasp of the two other Sith Masters whom were in pursuit of him, upon his return to Ossus, Cassus was named a Jedi Knight, for his bravery against all odds, and willingness to sacrifice himself in the name of the Light.

JEDI KNIGHT[/SIZE]
"Do not forget me, Cassus, for I will be with you - always."
Even with the loss of Tronto, he was still with Cassus, with deep meditation, and sometimes the help of the council, Cassus could get in touch with his Jedi mentor, whom he had known for so long, and lost so quickly, he passed down a number of his secrets after he had passed, and continued to do so for quite some time.
Of course, Cassus had pretty much became a tool of the council following his masters death, too attached to give him a new master, but too young to allow him to teach himself, Cassus was given missions that would do their best to mature him as he followed the path of Light, with guidance from the Council and Tronto's force ghost, Cassus grew into quite the Jedi Knight, brave, honorable, loyal, and truthful, he wasn't afraid of anything, not even death.
