Description: Despite being a force user, Cassia was not interested in creating a lightsaber, as she is not very fond of melee combat. Instead she decided to create a weapon that would serve to enhance her spells and force abilities by focusing energy. Cassia searched for a sturdy piece of Cosian Wood, chosen for aesthetics rather than overall durability. After studying the process to imbue a weapon with the force, she obtained a Durindfire crystal to fuse with her staff.
The result is an elegant staff that looks more like an embellished walking stick. The design is very simple and unassuming, so as not to draw extra attention. When the staff is being used the crystals will shine to illuminate the immediate area somewhat. The energy crystals will give Cassia a slight edge when meditating, and focusing the force to attack. Cassia will be able to concentrate and target telekinetic attacks like force push and pull with the aid of her staff. The staff alone is does not have offensive capabilities, only those that are channeled through it.
After the staff has been imbued with the force, a light halo effect is present along the full length of the weapon. As the effects of the force wear off, the staff loses its glow, until it is then imbued once more. This special feature makes the wood much stronger than it normally would be, able to withstand melee attacks (swords, daggers, ect) with minimal damage to the staff. This also makes the staff temporarily resistant to lightsaber strikes, serving as an effective defense. However, if struck several times over the effects of being imbued will fade and if lost completely the staff would easily be cut through.
As Cassia’s training and abilities advance, the force imbue effect will be stronger and longer lasting. If the staff becomes damaged Cassia may be able to make minor repairs, but if it is destroyed she will need to create a new one.
