PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Dirty blonde hair, either worn in two braids at either side (in a more casual situation) or up in a braided bun (for the more serious political matters when she needs to seem more presentable). Deep brown eyes.
Tends to wear whites/deep reds, usually some sort of robe or dress, modest enough but not too fancy or over the top. Doesn't have any specific attire, anything she wears doesn't really have any reason other than she likes the way it looks.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Cassia believes in honesty and being truthful. Which is something she's been lacking lately. It's constantly eating at her conscious, but she doesn't know how to bring the topic around.
She also thinks that their planet/system/the place they represent should not have to rely on the republic or the empire. As it is, she is not in the position to make that decision. But she can influence it. And she does. She feels super ashamed about it, but she does it anyways.
STRENGTHS
Understanding of the political systems. She learnt this from her late mother, who had years upon years of experience on her back. She can navigate the system like it's the back of her hand.
Skilled with words/language. She is near-fluent in many different languages and knows how to tell people what they want to hear. This also leads to her having developed a means of subtly manipulating people be more inclined to agree with her without realising it.
WEAKNESSES
Isn't good at combat in any way or form. She'd be useless in the field, she might be able to hold her own for a few moments whilst waiting for aid, depending on the opponent, but she'll avoid aggressive confrontation like the plague.
Inexperience. Whilst she is good at what she does, she's still relatively new to the role as adviser. Whilst her mother had held to position for nearly 50 years, she'd only been in it for 7 and a bit years. She knew a lot of information, but still didn't have the experience of actually applying that knowledge in a real-life situation.
HISTORY
Cassia's mother originally held her current position as advisor to the senator of Axases. So naturally, she's grown up around the ways of politics. She understands how they work, what tactics can be played to archive your means.
When she was 22, her mother passed away. Peacefully. In her sleep. Cassia knew she hadn't been through any pain. But it left the position open. Cassia was the first person asked to step up into it.
The first few years in the position went well. She upheld her duties, helping her people towards a better place. And she was good at what she did. Despite being young, she knew enough to guide the Anaxes senator through decisions thrown their way. And she was trusted.
However, her loyalties started to waver around a year ago. She never let it on. Especially not towards the Senator. But she'd seen and heard things that made her less certain of the Republic. Things you wouldn't want to be repeated to the public. The Republic had seemed to lose its sense of what she'd thought it was.
She'd started supporting the idea of turning away from them. Becoming an independent planet. Or seeing what the Empire had to offer. Knowing what she now knew, the Republic didn't seem much better than them.
She's never outright said it. But she's started hinting it. 'Advising' their senator to lean towards the choices that could lead to their independence.
