She didn't seem to agree with him. It was not really a problem, seeing as he didn't care too much for it either. Therefore, the response to her statement of how she felt on the topic was simply answered with a brief nod before the Knight moved on. He did find the other comment to stir his curiosity but for now, he would let the matter rest.

Apparently, his response to her question had lead the Padawan to reflect on her own capacities. Ultimately, it was healthy to reflect on one's own abilities and with that in mind, he remained silent and listened to her attentively. While the Knight was not truly encouraging of her behaviour, he was determined to not discourage her from sharing her thoughts. "You should find your calling sooner or later" he said, somewhat idle before a meek smile formed on his lips "Or else you might end up like me" Loïc was well aware of how he could sometimes be perceived and knew that many would strive towards not being like him.

A 'miniaturised hyperspace drive' seemed understandable enough and it made sense for it to be installed on a small personal craft and while he was not entirely sure of what the injection system was, he reasoning was sound as to why she thought they were installed in the first place. Still, his curiosity was not yet sated and with that, he stopped right outside the security office. "Very good" he said - while he could not be sure of if she was correct or not, her deductive work was good "That sounds like a better guess than I could have made on my own. But now I still wonder." he said, looking over to the casino-area whilst thinking before turning back to Mi'la "Why would Yalett want us to transport this to Officer Gravel? This is a rather easy way to get such a large discount, is it not?"

"Or else you might end up like me." Those words struck Mi'la in a way she couldn't comprehend. Was Loic unhappy with where he was currently? Did he feel aimless in his role as a jedi? It didn't sound sad initially, but the thought was a bit depressing to linger on. It took time to find a calling, and sometimes people never found it. She could only hope that Loic would find his calling in time if that was something he struggled with, though that wasn't exactly her call now was it? Sometimes you just had to leave things up to the will of the force.

She was pretty sure what she said sounded like nonsense to her fellow jedi, and that was okay, not everyone could grasp the complexities of hyperspace travel and astrophysics. Heck, she still had to refer to the guide at times. His questioning as to why the pair were delivering the drive was a good question, one that Mi'la couldn't work out. "You know, I'm trying to figure that out myself. Unless he's scared of Gravel?" She inquired, before the doors opened and revealed a large Gen'Dai sitting at a desk. The alien looked to the two, his yellow eyes almost bulging with a barely kept together rage. Mi'la felt her Lekku's withdraw across her shoulders, as she got a very bad feeling about this whole ordeal. "Um...we are here to see Officer Gravel?" She said, fidgeting about as she looked to Loic for help. What help he could give was probably nonexistent, but she just wanted some support with this very scary man leering down at her. "YOU ARE SPEAKING WITH HIM. WHAT DO YOU WANT?" The Gen'dai responded, standing up and moving to the pair, as he was a little over three meters in height, towering over the two jedi. "Yalett said you wanted this?" She asked, stepping back from the lift, only to find the door behind her had shut and locked.

The Gen'dai passed, looking to the device, before taking it and with a seemingly effortless display, set it on his desk. "SO, HE SENT YOU DID HE?" The Gen'dai grumbled, taking hold of the device and flinging it against the wall of his office. The device crashed into the wall, breaking in two, and spilling it's contents onto the ground. Mi'la had expected fluid and lubricant to spill onto the floor, unfortunately that wasn't what spilled out. Stuff and wrapped packages of Spice flowed onto the floor, as the entire device had been stuffed with the drug. Mi'la looked to Loic in horror at the reveal. "Okay, he didn't tell us about that!" She sputtered, as the Gen'dai reached for the pair of blasters on his hips. "NOW YOU LIE?" The alien shouted, drawing the weapons and pointing the barrels towards the two jedi. Mi'la wasn't even sure what to do here and now. Gen'dai were not known for their tolerance and understanding, and this one had the look of being unhinged to boot.

The doors to the security office suddenly opened as they spoke, making Loïc believe that whoever it was that controlled them had been watching them from a security feed. It was a disturbing thought considering how uneasy he already felt about the ordeal. Still, the situation was as it was and so, the Knight curiously peered into the room and inevitably spotted the large alien inside. With his curiosity sated, Loïc then looked back to Mi'la intent on continuing their conversation. That would not be possible.

While the Nubian had no qualms with ignoring social norms and pleasantries, the Padawan he found himself with was not the same. Instead of ignoring the person who just opened the door, she decided to interact with them. A flat line formed on Loïc's lips as he leaned back. He was not really disappointed because the girl had acted just like he had expected her to. But he was still not too happy with her choice. Although he was not entirely successful in hiding it, his displeasure was mostly gone by the time she turned to look at him. It was most unclear what she wanted but what she had said was accurate and with that in mind, he nodded at her before looking over to the large alien.

When Loïc was shaking his head lightly, not approving of the officer's lack of civility, the alien rose up and approached the two. And as he did, the door closed between them, locking Mi'la on the inside and Loïc on the outside of it. "What?" he mumbled, surprised about how suddenly it had closed on him. Mildly annoyed, he pressed the button to open it a few times but much to his disappointment, it was locked. Gently, he knocked on the door and hollered "Officer, Officer Gravel, the door is locked. Please open it for me."

Instead of a satisfying swoosh and an opened path, what could be heard was the Gen'dai's rough voice and the destruction of something which immediately put Loïc on high alert. It was nigh on impossible to tell what was going on inside but he could sense something akin to horror in the Padawan on the other side of the door. Banging on it once more, he simultaneously shouted "I demand that you open up this door. This is Jedi Knight Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan and I demand that you let me see the Padawan. She is under my charge, whatever she is charged of, I have the full right to see her and review her case if need be."

Loïc was annoyed by the situation but had managed to remain calm so far. Still, he stepped back a few meters and prepared for the worst.

  • If blaster fire or other violence could be heard from inside, he would summon the force and rip out the door that separated them, pulling it outwards towards himself. If Mi'la was still standing by the entrance and was under attack, he would use the force to pull her back too, creating distance between her and the Gen'dai as well as making it easier for them to look out for each other.
  • If no such thing could be heard and he received no signals from Mi'la to relent, Loïc would continue banging on the door and demanding passage until he either managed to grab the alien's attention or it proved to be futile in which case he would resort to other methods.

Having the weapons drawn on her, Mi'la raised her hands up to show she wasn't about to fight the Gen'dai, but being cut off from her fellow jedi made her feel extremely uncomfortable. She could hear Loic on the other side asking to be let in, but she didn't see much she could do on this side. "Officer Gravel, I think this is just one big misunderstanding here." She tried to soothe things out, hoping that maybe she could make everything alright. Unfortunately, that was not at all what happened. "MAKE ONE MORE MOVE AND I WILL BLAST YOU OUT AN AIRLOCK, CRIMINAL SCUM." The officer partially screamed, as the whine of blaster pistols flared up, causing Mi'la's face to drop. Seeing as how she didn't have much of an option, she closed her eyes and let out a sigh. The Gen'dai was approaching her, weapons drawn, as he seemed intent on arresting her for drug dealing. Mi'la, meanwhile, reached out with the force, and found the door controls.

The banging on the door provided a distraction, as the Gen'dai gave a glance towards the objections of Loic, just enough for Mi'la to find the door controls she was looking for. The door would hiss open, as the Gen'dai would be seen by Loic now, unfortunately this also started Officer Gravel, who thought the best response would be to fire both blasters directly into the Twi'lek before him. The stun bolts shot into Mi'la as she felt her entire body go limp, knocking her to the floor as she could hardly even move her lips to talk. The Gen'dai quickly whirled to face Loic, unloading stun shots towards the knight as several security officers moved to try and figure out what this commotion was all about. "YOU ARE BOTH UNDER ARREST, STOP RESISTING!" The Gen'dai hollered, seemingly having decided what he thought of the two jedi and this whole predicament.

Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan

Loïc was prepared to rip the door out when it suddenly opened. Already having backed away, he advanced toward the Padawan and the imposing officer with rapid steps. The Gen'dai was clearly out of line - he had drawn his weapons on them and fired at the girl without any signs that they were hostile. In fact, both of them had tried to speak to the man. Him shooting her was an outrage - hopefully, someone had recorded it because a serious investigation was needed on the matter.

Seeing what had happened to Mi'la, the Knight was far from unprepared for what the alien would do next. With a small nudge with the force, done without hand gestures, the Nubian ensured that Gravel's momentum would be maintained for just a little bit longer than expected, resulting in his shots flying right past their intended target to hit a wall at the back instead. "Officer Gravel, stand down!" he demanded, ready to keep nudging the man's arms to ensure that he would keep missing.

Finally, his colleagues arrived at which point he let out a forceful "Officers, get your man under control. You are operating well within the Silver Sphere. You do not arrest someone by shooting them. I am willing to work with you but first I need to to stand down and check on our Padawan." The Knight was unaware of how the command structure looked but certainly hoped that the brute whom had attacked Mi'la was not in command. Hoping that it would serve to soothe their minds, he continued "I am Jedi Knight Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan of the Silver Jedi Order. I do not wish for more violence. Let us talk."

Mi'la looked up wide eyed at the floor as her entire body felt heavy. Fidgeting on the floor, she could have sworn that she was seeing stars. As the door opened up and Loic tried to intervene on her behalf, she was a bit preoccupied with the whole situation; you know, being stunned and all. She tried to say something, but all that came out was a bunch of nonsensical babbling; much to the Twi'leks embarrassment. Loic's demeanor was indicative of someone trying to keep the peace, but from what Mi'la could see, the officers behind the jedi didn't seem to be taking his side. Not good.

The Gen'dai made something akin to a growl, as he stared down the jedi knight. His blasters didn't leave their mark, as he growled out a warning towards Loic and the downed jedi. "JEDI DO NOT SMUGGLE DRUGS. JEDI DO NOT TRY TO USE THEIR POWERS FOR PROFIT." The Gen'dai proclaimed, his comrades seeming to follow in his stead, as Loic would find the officers behind him drawing blasters as well. "THIS IS MY STATION, JEDI. MY RULES, MY LAWS. YOU HAVE BROKEN THEM, YOU NOW SEEK TO DISMANTLE THEM WITH YOUR POWERS? NO. SURRENDER AND CEASE YOUR RESISTANCE. THEN THE INVESTIGATION WILL BEGIN. IF YOU CONTINUE TO FIGHT, YOU WILL BE DESTROYED." Mi'la groaned, her hand reaching for her head, only to be shot by the Gen'dai once again. "MMPPHH!" She howled, as the stinging sensation rocked her body, causing her arm to drop limp from the stun shot. It seemed Loic was out numbered for the time being, and Gravel appeared unwilling to back down. If Loic had remained calm in the face of the Gen'dai's aggression, the alien would lower his blasters, hearing the knight out when he requested to speak. "TELL ME JEDI, WHY DO YOU DEAL DRUGS ON MY STATION? WHY ARE YOU WORKING FOR SCUM LIKE YALEET?" The officer seemed to almost demand, waving his hand to dismiss his officers, though two remained to keep an eye on the jedi knight and the padawan. Gravel seemed willing to let the pair talk here and now, though given the nature of the Gen'dai, that rationality could very well change at any moment.

Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan

Loïc let out an internal sigh as the officer spoke - did the alien even know what resistance he was talking about? For Loïc had not struggled against him physically nor brandished a weapon and his use of the force had been most sneaky indeed. When he saw the Twi'lke move and howl, he couldn't help but to slowly let the palm of his hand meet with his face in a tired expression "Well" he said but trailed off in a sigh.

"Officer Gravel. We docked here about 20 minutes ago. First we talked to the mechanic. The Aqualish one. Lorvar, I believe. She pointed us to Yalett and he sent us to you. You can check the landing registration time, elevator security feed and the one you have outside of this office. We came straight to you. We were not dealing drugs on your station by bringing them from Yalett to your office. As for the drugs themselves, I will have to refer you to Yalett. He sells starship parts and the drug container looked like just that - it is well within reason for the untrained eye in the inner workings of starships to assume that the container was indeed genuine." The Knight tried to remain clear and concise in his retelling of the events. It was a good idea in general but when handling this officer, it seemed especially true.

"We worked with Yalett because according to Lorvar, he was the one who could provide us with the components we needed." His tone was once again soft - but it still carried an underlying sharpness to it which would become particularly easy to identify when he looked down to Mi'la "Now, officer. I hope our Padawan did not threaten you in some way. I am confident that she can live through the pain of having been stunned - but I do wish for you to stop doing it. Surely, we have proven our peaceful intentions so far?"

Mi'la let out a small groan as she was left stunned on the floor. It felt like her entire body was tingling and on fire, and yet she couldn't even speak. The only real option she had at this moment was to sit and listen to Loic try and explain the situation, as she slowly began to regain control over her body. She noticed that Gravel kept saying Yalett's name wrong, though she didn't think anyone would be dumb enough to try and correct the Gen'dai on that part.

Gravel would give Loic the time, as with weapons put aside, the alien glared into the knight with a look of barely managed rage. After Loic had finished, the Gen'dai let out a small grunt, before moving towards Mi'la. "YOUR PADAWAN STILL COMMITTED A CRIME, AND WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. SHE ATTEMPTED TO USE HER POWERS AGAINST AN OFFICER, WHICH WILL NOT GO WELL FOR HER IN COURT." Gravel declared, moving to take Mi'la by the arms and cuff her, unless Loic moved to intercede. The Twi'lek attempted to refute what the Gen'dai was saying, but made little headway with inspiring quotes like "MMPPHHHH!" If Gravel was allowed to stun cuff her, he would give Loic a resolution to solve this problem. "BRING YALEET TO ME, AND HAVE HIM CONFESS. THEN I CAN RELEASE THE PADAWAN WITHOUT TRIAL." He proclaimed double downing on his position, as he would give little to explain his decision. Crossing his arms, Gravel let out a snarl. "OR YOU CAN BRING IN LORVAR FOR QUESTIONING, GIVEN SHE PLAYED A HAND IN THIS PLOT AS WELL. DOES THIS SIT WELL FOR YOUR MORALS, JEDI?" Gravel asked, his forming closing towards Loic as he sought to use his massive size to intimidate the knight. The guards in the corridor looked to each other, feeling tension building up as the situation escalated. Mi'la tried to do what she could to help, but she still didn't have proper control over her body. "L-Loic don't worry about it. J-Just get the part and leave. They have no case." She muttered, trying to move her head so she could see the man properly, though Gravel being a jackass nudged her head away with his boot, so she'd have to continue to stare at the floor. Grumbling, the Twi'lek took in a deep breath and focused on healing her body against the damage. The guy was really starting to tick her off.

Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan

The thought of Mi'la being his Padawan crossed his mind. Gravel was referring to the Jedi Order, of course. It was an intriguing idea to have a Padawan of his own but Mi'la was definitely not it. He had just started to remember her name - something which he did not really do during their first few hours together. He wondered what Gravel was speaking about when he accused the Padawan of using her powers against an officer but this time, he remained quiet. When allowed to have his monologues in peace, the Gen'dai who appeared to be the chief of the station often arrived at semi-decent conclusions.

Loïc listening to the alien - to him, going to court sounded like a perfect solution, he and his team often handled tricky cases and this would be no different. But then, they seemed to have a rather dubious justice system on the station - perhaps something which would have to be investigated by the Concord once this was all done. What came next caught him by surprise. "You seek a confession?" Considering how little the Gen'dai had cared for evidence so far, him suddenly wanting a confession was quite unexpected.

"I shall" his sentence was cut short as the more junior Jedi started making noises. He looked down at her when the alien sent a food against he head. "Officer - you have already captured her - please treat her with decency while I am away. It will be hard for me to depart otherwise." If Gravel agreed, Loïc would thank him and leave the office to head back into the hangar to seek out Yalett.

The Gen'dai gave a strange throat growl to Loic's question of a confession, though it seemed to be some Gen'dai speak for 'yes'. He turned his attention to securing Mi'la, confiscating her sabers and anything else he felt he was entitled to keep. "I WILL NOT HARM YOUR PADAWAN UNLESS SHE THREATENS ME AGAIN." Was the reply, though given how the Gen'dai classified threats, neither jedi was sure what exactly he would consider to be a threat. Still, to Loic it seemed the Gen'dai intended to honor their deal, so perhaps this whole situation would turn out somewhat positive.

Grumbling as her face was rolled into the floor, Mi'la had to just sit and take it. With her hands bound and rather trapped from the stun shots, she could only hope the Gen'dai would uphold his part of the bargain. Unfortunately that proved to be anything but true, as the moment Loic left the door, the Gen'dai kicked the Twi'lek in the side, causing her to groan. "UP JEDI, TO YOUR HOLDING CELL." Mi'la tried to roll back and see the Gen'dai, maybe explain to him that she quite literally couldn't move her legs due to the stun shots. "I can't feel my face, let alone my legs. Can you give me a sec?" The reply came via him hoisting her up by her legs, and nearly dragging her to a back cell. Not amused in the slightest, she could only hope that Loic was having more fun than her at the moment.

Loic would find Yalett's shop seemingly locked up, with the Rodian no where to be seen. Some investigative skills would reveal that several items behind the counter had been left behind. Various parts and items were left abandoned on the shelves under the counter. As it seemed Loic might have to take his investigation elsewhere, a sole datapad on the counter lite up, showing a notification that the Rodian had booked passage on a transport leaving within the hour. The terminal number was listed, as well as the level it would be found on within the station, though Loic would need to move fast to capture the slippery Rodian.

Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan

It was good that he promised to not harm her and to Loïc, it seemed like the Gen'dai intended to honor their deal, so perhaps the whole situation would turn out somewhat positively. Still, he had some reservations about it all, because so far, the alien had displayed some irregularities in his behaviour, failures to draw logical conclusions, a disregard for Mi'la's well being and inconsequential behaviour in regards to due process. It was with a slight sense of reluctance that Loïc nodded before turning to leave.

While he had physically left the room already, his senses were on high alert. Through the force, he reached out to her and tried to touch her mind - his proficiency was nowhere near that of her master, but hopefully, it had made her more open to outside communications. While he was unsure of how to properly communicate mentally, his general knowledge at least allowed him to sense pain, fear and confusion. While the signals may not have been strong to someone not specialised in the field, they were still close physically and had just been in some form of contact before his departure. Moving on methodically, the Knight then enhanced his hearing to hear her last few words and then a few muffled sounds before something, or someone was dragged along the floor.

His mind raced through a few possibilities but with the Gen'dai's previous behaviour, the most likely option was that he had not honoured their deal. Loïc sighed, for he knew that peaceful cooperation was no longer an option. With that, he immediately turned around and sent a short voice message to his coordinator "This is Pen-Ar-Lan. Officer Gravel of Tung Space Station is doing violence unto Padawan Mi'la Undari without proper Justification. I am taking direct action to cease this misbehaviour." he spoke at a high pace - it would only take a few moments for the message to be sent, allowing for the coordinator to take whatever actions they deemed to be appropriate. With that, he proceeded with his previous plan and pushed in the doors of the office, bringing the two security officers down as they fell. Loïc was fairly certain that it would not be lethal.

As the doors fell open, he could see Gravel holding the girl by her legs and dragging her along the floor. It was certainly not in accordance with their deal and seeing as she was a Twi'lek, he found it particularly callous. Well aware of the species unique properties and the past behaviour of the officer, Loïc saw no reason to hold back. Increasing his speed and temporarily the strength of his legs, he jumped towards the two, propelling himself towards them with a tremendous pace. Slightly before he arrived, Loïc brought out his sabre and activated its green blade to almost instantaneously cut off the creature's hand in a downwards swing. He assumed that Mi'la was still unconscious and proceeded by quickly twirling his sabre, causing it to slash long lines in the alien's body unless it backed away.

Mi'la felt like a child, and it was humiliating; not to mention painful. Her Lekku's were dragging on the floor, and to those human folks out there, imagine being dragged across a rug on your ears; it was not pleasant in the slightest. "Ow, ow, ow, can you lift me up like two inches or something?" She suggested, only to find her captor was less than complying in her request. Hopefully Loic would be back soon, then they could be out of here. She always ended up in the worst places. Maybe one day, she'd end up at a nice abandoned temple.

On Loic's side, there was a pause before a voice spoke back to him. "Sir, I apologize, but what are you planning on do-" The answer the man was looking for came loud and clear, as Loic sprung into action. As the doors opened, the two officers looks to the jedi with a sense of confusion, their hands no where near their blasters until it was too late to defend themselves. Their bodies slammed against the floor, sending both clattering to the ground unconscious. Mi'la's eyes widened in surprise at the arrival of the jedi, having expected him to leave her to this fate; though the Gen'dai was none too please. Before the Twi'lek could respond, Loic had flung himself towards the pair, his blade melting through the flesh of the Gen'dai, as the paralyzed Mi'la flopped to the ground, grunting as she landed on her head.

Of course, this did little to bolster the Gen'dai's mood, as the alien's questionable expression morphed into something that was down right enraged. Stepping back from the jedi, the body of the alien began to swell, his uniform tearing as his muscle mass began to grow more dense. The severed hand that Loi had sliced through regrew within moments, and with it the Gen'dai's hands balled into fists; though to Loic's horror he would notice metallic cylinder shapes gleaming in the hands of the alien. "ASSAULTING OFFICERS OF THE LAW, DAMAGING PUBLIC PROPERTY, AND INSTIGATING MUTINY ON MY STATION?" He roared, throwing out a strike towards the jedi knight, as his arm elongated, opening as it flew. A blue blade would emerge from it, as Mi'la's saber was being used to attack the knight, though without the elegance of a properly trained jedi. Just as this first strike would be thrown, the Gen'dai would deploy Mi'la's second saber as well, lunging the blade towards the knight with little regard for the damage it would do. "THE SENTENCE IS DEATH!" Mi'la could only watch as Loic stood over her, feeling a sense of shame at her powerlessness. She could wiggle the tips of her fingers just ever so slightly, the faintest bit of strength coming back to her. Maybe there was something she could do to help, even if she didn't know what that was. Assuming Loic even needed her help in this situation.

Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan

The voice he had heard before entering washed about in his mind as he fought. Loïc did not push it to the back of his mind as he should have and so, he found himself in a bit of trouble as the Officer launched his attacks. They were launched almost simultaneously and the Knight knew that being struck by one of the muscle-bound limbs alone was bad enough. The lightsabres enhanced their threat level but then, from what he understood, the alien was not a force user and not trained in dual wielding lightsabres. If the fight went on for long enough and he was allowed to keep both weapons, chances were that he might injure himself.

As the attacks came, Loïc dodged low, bowing deeply with bent legs to allow both attacks to pass over him. At the same time, he swung his blade upwards at an angle, ensuring that he'd block an attack that was sent lower than expected. What it also meant was that he threatened to detach both arms above him from the gen'dai's body, ensuring that both the limbs and the lightsabre's would be taken out of use. It would only be temporary, however, as he would then use the force to summon one of Mi'la's lightsabres from the detached limb.

Standing upright, he looked to the foe with his green sabre ignited and Mi'la's still not active in his off-hand. "You broke our agreement. When I entered I saw you dragging her with her Lekkus on the floor. Surrender, Officer Gravel, you are under arrest."

The Gen'dai was indeed dangerous, that there was no doubt, but his form was untrained and reckless. When compared to the skill of a trained knight, Gravel might as well have been a small child trying to wrangle a Reek, as with two simple maneuvers the Gen'dai was quite literally disarmed. The Gen'dai let loose an almost unheard of snarl, wrecked with pain as his arms were severed. Mi'la felt a pulse of triumph as the jedi knight managed to defeat his opponent, though she felt rather pathetic about the current situation she found herself in. On the plus side, she could feel a tickly sensation in her foot, so that meant she was starting to shake off the paralysis. Unfortunately, the Gen'dai was not ready to give in just yet.

Driven to a psychotic rage, the Gen'dai did something Mi'la didn't know was possible. It's body began to pulsate and swell, and at first it seemed as if he might implode. Unfortunately, that wasn't what happened. The Gen'dai rushed forward, it's abdomen expanding, as it would seek to engulf the jedi knight into it's chest cavity and crush him under a mass of pulsating muscle. The eyes of the alien were blood red and it's limbs were a wriggling mess of nerves and muscles trying to piece themselves together. Mi'la had a front row seat to the body horror show playing out before her, as she felt absolutely powerless to try and protect her superior. "Loic!" She shouted, trying to sit up, only to find her legs were no where near ready to support her weight.

Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan Loïc Pen-Ar-Lan

Loïc never wanted to inflict pain on the officer - but he had done what was necessary - what was proportional in relation to the kind of threat which Gravel posed. With the creature's arms cut off and a second sabre readily at his disposal, the Knight pushed forth. It was not a leap or a charge, but rather a determined walk. The goal was simple - create some distance between himself and the Padawan without leaving her exposed. This would allow him to better evade attacks instead of having to block them in feat of her getting hurt.

Soon, the Gen'dai started to loose the shape which he had held for the duration of their acquaintance. Looking at it, and how the 'chest' started to open up, Loïc feared that his capabilities in Makashi might be less useful against such an unorthodox fighting style as the one he now faced. Still, being a Knight near the level of a Master, his skills were well honed to face the threat. Bringing out both sabres, he started swirling them about until he could comfortably keep both of them spinning. He did not have any robotic arms and was far from a master of soresu - but his capacities were adequate for the task at hand - namely to create something of a wall between himself and the officer.

The wall would be used offensively. Suddenly stepping forth at a quicker pace, he threatened to slice up whatever part of the Gen'dai that got into contact with the two blades - whether it be the swelling chest or limbs in general. With calculated efficiency and capacity to defend himself by lowering or raising an arm, Loïc would try to put the alien in a situation where he would either be backed down into a corner or be destroyed against the quick blade motions which the Nubian produced.

As the jedi lunged forward, his body expanding to capture the jedi, Loïc's blade work began to tear into the form, rending and burning through the mass of flesh and nerves, reducing the behemoth into shreds of quivering flesh, greatly reducing the mass of the Gen'dai as he was sliced to bits before the knight, though miraculously wasn't killed. The slices sections of the body slowly began to collect themselves, though the mass of muscle known as Gravel fell prone, seemingly involuntary muscle tremors pulsed through his body as it began to stitch itself together, though the alien made no attempt to strike at the jedi. Not even a groan spilled from his amalgamation of a mouth, as it seemed Loïc had incapacitated him for the time being.

Mi'la was rather exuberant about this, but felt a degree of shame at having been so helpless during this whole ordeal. As Loïc would finish up, the Twi'lek said little, waiting as her limbs and muscle control slowly was restored. More of the station security would sweep into the room with blasters drawn, most of them seemingly alarmed at a jedi attacking their officer, though they didn't open fire upon the pair. Most of them seemed to mutter in disbelief at the state of the Gen'dai, but The voice of the coordinator would speak through the intercom of the station, and with it the guards seemed to relax. "Attention security, there has been a disturbance due to the actions of Security Chief Gravel. Please stand by until we can resolve this matter, and cooperate with the jedi on station. We are pending an investigation, and we would like to avoid further conflict with them." Sitting up against the wall, Mi'la would idly collect her fallen saber, sighing as she clipped it onto her belt. Glancing to Loïc, she smiled slightly, thought it was obvious she wasn't happy. "Hey, thanks for the save." Sakadi was not going to be happy about any of this. Her negligence had gotten them into this situation after all.

That worked out well. In fact, it worked out much better than Loïc had expected it to as the officer had just kept charging at him until he was destroyed. Looking down at the puddle, Loïc soon turned to Mi'la before the other officers entered the room with their weapons drawn. The Knight sighed as he looked at the armed men standing before him. Before he managed to say something, however, they seemed to stand down and relax.

Good. An investigation was precisely what this station needed. Not only had Gravel acted against all norms and conventions, but the guard force had been there with him, appearing to be quite complicit in his blatant abuse of power. The Jedi stared at them, memorising their faces before once again turning to Mi'la. Loïc's senses were honed and ready to pick up any threats they might present.

His eyes scanned over her body for dangerous injuries as she thanked him. The Nubian looked up at her, almost seeming a bit skeptical in his outlook "There is no need to thank me. It was nothing personal." he said before standing up again and extending the hand which held her second weapon "Try to avoid loosing your weapons in the future. They are quite important and very dangerous." he said without a hint of humour in his voice.

Realising that it might take a while before she would regain her ability to walk and not really wanting to touch the crime scene, Loïc remained by her side, both ensure that the guards wouldn't do anything to disturb the scene except for securing Gravel and to ensure that they did not inflict any further harm onto Mi'la.

Seeing guards storm into the room, Mi'la was rather concerned about the situation escalating to a very dangerous degree. Thankfully, that wasn't what occurred. She hoped that they could be off this station soon, though the idea of getting the shipped fixed seemed unlikely at the moment. While Loic seemed to be prepared and scanning the area for a sign of danger, Mi'la sat trying to think what she could have done differently to avoid this situation. Of course, it didn't take long for Loic to take notice of her, offering her missing saber to her and lecturing her about holding onto her weapon. As he spoke, her face dropped, as the expression in her eyes indicated she wasn't in the mood for a lecture. "Sorry, I'll just ask the security officer to not shoot me next time. Couldn't really stop him when he paralyzed me." She remarked, taking the weapon, and struggling to get back to her feet. It wasn't easy, in fact, it was basically impossible. As the moment she stood up, she would begin to fall forward as her knees gave up from under her. Unless Loic intervened, she was going to smash her head against Officer Gravel's desk.

Regardless how the fall resulted, she was frustrated, very, very frustrated about this whole ordeal. As the security officers would begin to remove their fallen officer from the room, she was left wondering what kind of trouble she was going to catch from this. A chuckle from one of the officers grew her ire, though she said nothing to the man, intent on just keeping herself to her thoughts.

"Mi'la, I approve of you starting the analysis of where it went wrong a bit before they actually took your lightsabres. But I think you should go back more than just to when they stun bolts were fired. By all means, question why you even came with me, if you wish. But communicating is a good idea." he spoke as if she had been sincere - in a way, Loïc was sincere himself. He approved of when people reflected over what had went wrong. If he could help the Padawan make a more gifted analysis, he would be happy to do so.

Watching her curiously, Loïc also witnessed as she began to fall. She might as well get to terms with the fact that pushing herself too much could be dangerous. But then, he was not sadistic by nature and seeing her get seriously injured would be quite the shame. Reaching out through the force, he nudged her a bit to the side, causing her to fall straight to the ground instead - at least she fell face first, ensuring that her Lekku wouldn't get more of a beating than they already had. Looking at her without getting up, he idly asked "Are you okay?" The Knight threw a quick glance at the chuckling guard - he remembered the man as one of the culprits who aided the Gen'dai before. While he would not be punished for it now, it was likely that he might be held accountable for his actions later.

Still, he sensed Mi'la's growing frustration. Was she a thread or just in need of another nudge? "Remember, Padawan, there is no emotion, there is peace." He quoted the Jedi code but found himself smirking as he thought of what she had said earlier. "Everyday is an improvement. Do not loose sight of that." he had not changed his mind - but he did not interpret every word literally either, so from a certain point of view, there was truth to what she said.

Unfortunately, Loic's words did little to ease her annoyance at her poor performance. When paired with the fact she had fallen, and the jedi knight had decided to nudge her back onto her face; right onto her nose. A low groan spilled from her lips, as she had enough muscle control to grab her nose, just as trails of red began to run from it. "Oh feth me...." She swore quietly, groaning as Loic asked if she was okay. She would turn back to the knight, dropping her hand so he could see the bloody nose she now had, and let that speak for itself. Yea, this just wasn't her day. Grumbling, she would pull herself together, sorta, before setting herself against the wall and sighing.

What made it worse was he threw her own words back at her, the very thing she had told him earlier, he was now bringing up again. Scowling, she looked to the jedi, taking a bit of her robe to stem the flow of blood from her nose. "I'm aware that my attempt to try and help made everything worse. I unknowingly helped a criminal, nearly got arrested, ruined our mission, and allowed said criminal to escape. I'm also aware that this debacle will speak poorly of myself as a member of the order, and I'm more than likely going to get reamed when I get back to the temple." Her voice was a tad distorted from the pressure to her nose. On the plus side, she could move her legs sorta, so that was an improvement. She set her head against the wall, leaning her head back as the blood flow would slow. "I should have let you handle things. Clearly it would have turned out much better than this." She didn't feel like she was wrong. Honestly, it seemed like some days she was just screwing things up left and right.
