Carantyhr Industries aims to develop starships and technology for use by the common sapient in the Kathol Outback and the wider Outer Rim territories. To that end, the products are designed with two aims in mind; reliability and affordability. As a new corporate entity, they lack the capital and experience to make truly bleeding edge tech or revolutionary starship designs, so they instead settle for proven, effective technologies and rugged designs that will handle the rough living of the Outer Rim. Expansion plans for research and devleopment, vehicle construction, and droid manufacture exist, but as the corporation is still in its infancy, it lacks the means or facilities to begin operations in these fields.
RATIONALE
Born out of a sudden desire for more out of life than taking one junker job after another just to eat, Kalla made Caraynthyr Industries to begin building something of a proper image and name for herself. This sudden streak of personal responsibility led her to pitching the concept to several entities within the Outer Rim for backing. Eventually finding the backers willing to believe, or indulge, in her vision, Kalla set up shop on a useless rock in the Silken system to begin working.
