  • GENERAL INFORMATION

    OVERVIEW GOES HERE!

Captain Rojuhr Pouihl, known by the callsign Comet, is a battle-hardened naval commander with the soul of a starfighter pilot and the scars of a galaxy’s betrayal. A Shi'do by species but human by preference, Rojuhr chooses to project an image that balances his heritage with approachability—one part strategic, one part personal legacy. Tall, blonde, and seemingly in his early forties, he exudes confidence and capability, but underneath that carefully chosen form lies a being who has lived nearly two centuries—and suffered more than most.

Rojuhr’s path to the stars began in the chaos of youth. Orphaned or abandoned (even he isn’t sure), he was found as an infant on Naboo. Raised by a smuggler “father,” his early life was a blur of starports, scams, and betrayals. He grew up in turbulence, rebelling against the life he was thrust into. He drifted for decades, living shapeshift to shapeshift, rarely forming bonds and often running from his own identity. That changed on a dare.

Enlisting in the Galactic Alliance military on a challenge from a drinking partner, Rojuhr discovered something shocking: purpose. Structure. Flight. He took to the cockpit with a ferocity and finesse that made him a natural. He thrived in “the box”—the tight confines of a starfighter—especially when flying alongside the one person who would shape his future: Liram Angellus.

    ---

    Brother in the Skies:

To Rojuhr, flying with Liram was more than partnership—it was fate. He idolized Liram's legacy, having studied and even met Angellus’ father and grandfather. But when they flew together? It was chaos. Joyful, rule-bending, court-martial-dodging chaos. The kind of flying that left admirals scowling and hangar crews gasping. But they delivered. Every. Single. Time.

Their antics became legendary. But more than that, their loyalty to each other became unbreakable. Rojuhr could’ve gone rogue and chased solo glory. Instead, he chose loyalty—translating cockpit instinct into bridge command when Angellus vouched for his transition “to the deck.”

    ---

    Command Style and Legacy:

Now as captain of The Celestial City, Rojuhr commands like a pilot who still sees the stars as lanes to be exploited and gravity as a suggestion. He works his ships hard—too hard, some say—but his aggressive tactics are calculated and lethal. He doesn’t care about reputation or chain of command outside his circle. If you're one of his crew? He’ll die before he lets anything happen to you.

This protective instinct was inherited from Liram. And it hardened the day Liram died—not in battle, but executed by Crimson Veil terrorists. To Rojuhr, that wasn’t war—it was betrayal. And betrayal demands retribution. His anger, once cocky and humorous, now burns cold and targeted. His vow is personal: hunt them all. Especially Kalen.

    ---

Naboo and the Rift with Halpern:

Rojuhr’s return to active duty was a broken-hearted act of honor. He could not serve the Galactic Alliance that failed to protect his brother-in-arms. When his old fleetmate Gym Halpern returned to the Alliance, they shared a somber toast—but took divergent paths. Halpern chose reform from within. Rojuhr chose justice from without. He joined the Royal Naboo Republic Navy, not just because it offered independence—but because Naboo was Liram’s birthplace. It felt like home. A sacred duty. A place he could watch over Michael, Liram’s son in all but blood.

  • HISTORY

Why is he on Naboo? Simple, he was found as a baby, long ago on the planet Naboo. Rojuhr grew up in turmoil, constantly on the move because his "father" was a smuggler, so he rebeled. He set out to find himself and the next hundred and fifty years was spent with him doing anything and everything, but more or less "coasting through life."

It was when he joined the military on a dare that his life was changed.

Rojuhr Pouihl cut his teeth in "the box" of a starfighter alongside the late Admiral Liram Angellus. He read up on (and had met) Liram's father, and grandfather in his life. It was almost like a "celebrity" feeling, and immediately volunteered to fly with him.

They were often "NUTS" when in formation, pulling off crazy moves and stunts that often got them into trouble, but their success saved them from any true issues. Rojuhr could have gone his own way but his loyalty to his friend was ultimately parlayed into a career "on the deck", learning how to command a ship, even multiple ships, let alone a squadron. It may cost him, but Rojuhr's return to active duty in honor of his friend and mentor is what brought him here to Naboo, also to keep a close eye on his "nephew" Michael Angellus Michael Angellus .

A pivotal moment came when Pouihl reconnected with his old friend and former fleetmate, Gym Halpern. The two veterans shared a deep respect for Admiral Angellus and agreed that his legacy should be preserved and honored. However, their paths diverged on how best to achieve this goal.

Halpern, after much reflection, chose to return to the Galactic Alliance. He believed that working within the system would be the most effective way to implement positive changes and uphold the principles Admiral Angellus had instilled in him.

Pouihl, on the other hand, harbored resentment towards the Galactic Alliance, blaming their inaction for Admiral Angellus's death. Seeking a fresh start, Pouihl decided to join the Royal Naboo Republic, a choice influenced by the fact that Admiral Angellus had been born on Naboo.

This divergence in paths highlights the complex emotions and loyalties that can arise in the aftermath of losing a respected leader. While both men sought to honor their mentor's memory, their different approaches reflect the personal nature of grief and the varied ways individuals choose to carry on a legacy.

  • APPEARANCE

Rather tall, clean cut and athletic is his preferred appearance, but Rojuhr's true form is that of a Shi'do, much larger, more "built" and stalky. It is rare that he is seen in this form though as he prefers to be viewed human.

  • PERSONALITY

No-nonsense and blunt. Rojuhr doesn't mince words, doesn’t posture, and has no patience for pretenders.

Protective and loyal. Those he trusts are sacred to him—crew, friends, family. He will push ships and people to their limits but never abandon them.

Mournfully angry. The galaxy killed his best friend and mentor, and he’s never made peace with that.

Deep thinker beneath the swagger. His bravado masks philosophical musings about identity, legacy, and the cost of war.
