Dolor Cordis
Character
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Having needed armor to fight her foes, Dolor Cordis took an older suit of armor from a defeated foe, and added metals, functions and even a larger power bank. The end result was a suit of heavy armor that brought the high level of power she required as the newly named, "Devil Queen of the Unbound Space". It was a title that with her new helmet, shaped as a horned skull, she felt was appropriate.
In combat, this suit could sustain immense blaster fire, hardly showing any damage overall. Whilst some kinetic damage is expected, most forms would only partly damage the plating, but enough could cause a wound underneath. Lightsabers found this suit hard to penetrate, due to the incorporated Beskar she had found on a supply and mining ship headed for Mandalore. The prize was well worth the 40 pirates that died. Slugthrowers found the armor hard to bite into even at close range. EMPs and Ion blasts could damage the suit's functions, but not enough to immobilize it. And any heat or cold based weapons hardly fazed the wearer of the armor.
Just like the helmet, the armor was designed to intimidate, and to give multiple options in a fight, ranged or close. Even in combats on her ship's hull or an opposing hull, she could fight effectively, moving effortlessly in the zero gravity. To many soldiers, pirates and some young Jedi, she lived up to her name.
