My problem is simply i am trying to change this character's display name and it wont accept my password thus wont accept my display name change.

Cant change Subaccounts Display name in the CP for editing profiles.

Name change option works only for the writer accounts. To change subaccount names, you need to post in the Rank title thread and ask the administrators to do it.
