ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Force Guided: Red Five, the famed fighter of Luke Skywalker, has seen enough battles that it's controls in the hands of a jedi seem to guide it, as if Luke himself was holding the stick with you.
  • Reliable Systems: Given it's previous owner, it's no wonder that the systems within the fighter have been modified to the point of finely tuned exceptionalism. A pilot will find that this fighter is highly capable, even 900 years later.
WEAKNESSES
  • She Belongs in a Musuem!: This bird is over 900 years old. As such, her systems are antique, and many modern pilots would find that it's sensors are lacking many modern improvements.
  • Para-what error?: Like every other X-wing, the distance between wingtips requires the cannons be calibrated to fire towards a fixed point. Any seasoned X-wing pilot ought to be able to adapt but nuggets will need training and experience to earn those instincts.
  • Droid-Locked: Due to it's former astromech's decades long span of not being memory wiped, the fighter's systems seem to fight against any new droids attached to it. If only someone could find that darned R2 unit...
DESCRIPTION
Once the famed fighter of Grandmaster Luke Skywalker, the X-wing designated as "Red Five" saw the fall of Empires, the rise of Sith Lords, and the peace of the Alliance. According to records, in his dying days, Luke returned to Endor, where his father had been buried, and parked the fighter one last time as he faded into the Force as well.

Jonyna Si, and Valery Noble, would rediscover the fighter after the Cathar would dig through thousands of records to rediscover it. Jonyna, wanting to restore it as a museum piece, had the fighter moved back to Tython, to be parked in the temple grounds as a reminder of what her order had been through. A reminder to new generations that the Jedi Order's place in the galaxy was not always so secure, and that their current stance as the heralded guardians of peace was not ever-lasting.

"He might've stolen my thunder, but Farmboy deserves to be remembered as a hero. The hero I couldn't be. Even if it's only his fighter that remains, I want him to be remembered by the padawans."
