Candu Techuu is a privately owned technology development and manufacturing company. It specializes in designing, fabricating, producing and manufacturing a wide range of products; from personal devices, security mechanisms and personal weaponry to personal speeders, starfighters and even small-scale starships.
The workshop is overseen by Candu Tabuu, an Anzellan engineering savant, who's species is very adept at tech. He has hired - or outright created, via droids - his work force, and uses that to output rapid results for orders. With privatized funding from a number of sources, as well as a successful market place on Coruscant, Candu Techuu has started to create its own niche in the technological race and has plans to expand into larger scale manufacturing... once expanded resources and funding capital can be gained.
Of note, is that while Candu Tabuu tech has been seen used by criminal elements, it has no official connection with those criminal elements - Candu Tabuu maintains "Hey hey, they stole tech! Tiu forjehajo!"
RATIONALE
Candu Techuu was a small-scale business that handled small tech requests. It made a solid name for itself, despite the eccentric owner, as the work was reliable and reasonably priced. Following investment from private sources, manufacturing and production sizes increased, including upgrades and expansions in the workshop to accommodate. It is through continued investment and expansion that Candu Techuu is able to increase its output and pad out its market listings with bigger and better items for sale.
Unknown to the public, the business supplies Crimson Dawn in secret, and claims losses or theft to cover some costs, due to the dangerous location of the workshop in Coruscants lower levels - Slum district G17, a place with a plausible crime rate, and gangs in the area.
