Can You Feel...The Love...In Five Minutes

Mood: Saxy

The gathering was set. A nice catering hall on Commenor was selected for this event. The hall was decorated with fancy lights and romantic candles. Tables were set up for people to talk and socialize, while rows of food and desserts were prepared by the chefs. The event was casual, and everyone was encouraged to relax and enjoy themselves.

Many chairs and tables were set up for the people to relax and talk. A Speed Dating section was set out for those wanting to learn more about their fellow event goers. Those who wished to partake could sign up. No reason to not learn more about your friends and comrades.

For those who were on the less social side, or just hungry, a dining section had been set up. Many exotic foods and desserts have been prepared, with five star chefs making them. Eat as much as you would like! But remember, the lines for the bathroom fill up fast.

Most of all, have fun! With our work done, we can play! Get to know your friends even more, or make some new ones.

Objective 1: Ready...Set...Date!
A Speed Dating event has been set up for those wanting to learn more about your friends, or strangers! In five minute ‘dates’ get to know your partner more. After five minutes, switch to someone else. Or just socialize with your current partner more!

Objective 2: Be Our Guest
Our five star chefs at the gathering hall have worked very hard to create wonderful meals for everyone. Sample a few, or try them all! No point to let it go to waste.

Objective 3: BYOO
This is a social gathering after all, so socialize! Do what you would like with your friends and comrades.

Table number 3

Mire typically wasn't the first to arrive to anything. Let it be known that, Mirellia of House Cira, finally beat Aola Shala to a dig. Ha. Take that. Now who was paying for the taxi home?

Mire had no problem signing herself in for the speed dating and walking herself to a table. With or without her posse, her confidence was unhindered. Tomorrow the senate was closed, so tonight... girl was cutting loose. Hopefully. Her formula was simple-- work hard during the day and be sure she's left a fresh dress at the office for the morning. It was necessary, but harmless.

All work and no play made Mire a very bad law maker.

She lowered herself into a seat, the slit of her dress hiked up to allow her legs to cross as she leaned comfortably back. As she waited for the room to fill, she waved over a waiter and murmured an order in his ear.

So, Kat was back in SJC space. She was interested in visiting friends and had heard of a speed dating event going on. The 20-something Echani was hoping for a relationship to form from the even but she could have some fun meeting new people and expanding the number of people she could interact with. The normally introverted Echani had been stepping outside her comfort zone to talk more and know more people. She wanted to be more sociable, always had been, just lacked the confidence.

There was no doubt that the Echani had confidence now as she strode into the speed dating venue. Wearing an outfit she had picked on her travel to Commenor, it had been awhile since she had last visited the world. Kat looked around, there was little signs of the Sith occupation of the world, something that was fortunate. She sat down at the table with the only other guest she could spot at the moment.

"Hi, I'm Kat Decoria." Kat waved her greeting as she ordered herself a large whisky. Smiling politely to the stranger as she looked around, curious to see who else would pay a visit.

Objective 1

Merkelig Syn slowly walked up to the catering hall. She honestly hadn’t been free for long, having been adopted by the Arsenians, and this “speed dating” seemed as good a time as any to get back into something... normal. She smiled a little, adjusting her goggles before taking a breath and walking in. It was definitely a flashy place, and Mer felt like she should’ve dressed up a little more. She was just in some basic clothing, but they were comfy.

The Miraluka would walk in, sitting at one of the numbered tables before looking around. She sighed a little, looking at the table.

Objective On-nope-2

Tarish had been allowed to leave the medical bay after his in depth and ongoing healing in order to stretch and work bed-ridden muscles. With strict instructions for nothing as taxing as a workout or physical activities related to such.

An outing to meet fellow jedi in a relaxed environment rather than a battlefield was a welcome chance for such a thing. The slow walk of the knight had him observing the sign in front of the assorted tables before giving a glance to those assembled at the tables.

He wasn't old by any means, but he was on the backhill slide towards a different age bracket on the popular surveys on the holo-net. The ones where most surveys didn't want his opinion to begin with, certainly didn't want it three years from now. Never mind when he wasn't up to date on fashion, media, or well known names. With a decided huff of air, he slowly made his way from the sign before the assorted tables for speed dating towards the area the greeter had told him the food would be served.

Speed dating was a younger mans game. Especially for those that didn't feel like a sixty year old that could barely walk at the moment. He was dressed in his usual well maintained black and silver lined attire, feeling very under dressed given the lack of a lightsaber at his hip. Not that he was in any shape to actually use it.
