Biography: Originally born as Kazic Varen a Jedi Youngling within the Silver Jedi Order on Kashyyyk, the young man showed great aptitude in the Force. With promises from many of the Order's brightest teachers that he would grow up to be a great Jedi. Spending his early years' training, studying, and learning both the ways of the Force, and Jedi teachings. Crafting a lightsaber, and gaining close to earning his path as a Padawan. Until the wars with the Mandalorian Empire broke out, where Kazic was sent along with a group of other younglings to try and help if possible in the fight. Mainly to heal others, during the Battle of Azure. During the battle Kazic had lost most of his entire team, leaving him as the last survivor. When the Silver Jedi left Kazic was all that remained, until he was found by a Mandalorian warrior, damaged but not willing to kill Kazic be it a Jedi or not due to how young he was. Instead, the Mandalorian simply is known to Kazic as the "Caretaker" Took him in and soon Kazic was taken in as a foundling for the Mandalorians. Told to forget everything about being a Jedi. Kazic looked back on the ruined battlefield one last time and then proceeded with the caretaker as a new member of the Mandalorians.
From then on he was taken to Mandalore, given a new name as a symbol that his old life was over. "Campion Kast." He was called of Clan Kast. Kast being a lowly clan of where there had only been two notable Mandalorians to hold that name. One was a man called Jodo Kast, a Mandalorian, or what others would simply demean him as bounty hunter imposter. The other Rook Kast of the Death Watch faction. Neither of the names was great ones, something the Caretaker had hoped upon for the new foundling that starting from such a lowly clan would earn him respect in time with the other foundlings. While trying to let go o the lie he lived, the Caretaker often reminded the young Campion in the years past the Battle that he must never reveal his force powers. Such a crime for the Mandalorians who were found to carry the blood of the enemy sorcerers was subjected to the worst punishments, if not outright killed.
In the years following the caretakers' words. Campion spent his time learning the secrets of the Mandalorians. Learning how they fought, how they behaved when one was not a warrior. What the culture was, and soon the memory of Kazic all but faded. There was only Campion a proud Mandalorian wishing to bring honor and fame to his clan. It wasn't before long that when he grew into adulthood, he chose his helmet, and bits and pieces of armor. His Beskar'Gam would take years if not much hard work to earn. Starting out with what pieces he could get, when he was about to achieve the goal of crafting his full armor was when Mandalore fell under the betrayal of the Sith Empire. Campion bravely tried to fight alongside his surrogate Father, but was thrown onto a ship as the man sacrificed himself against a countless horde of enemies.
Following the occupation of Mandalore by the usurpers, Campion now unsure of where his path lies starts his life as a bounty hunter. Earning credits, new weapons, new armor. Trying to carve out a life, keeping his Force Powers hidden all the while. Trying to honor and truly understand what it means to be a Mandalorian.
Appearance: Campion is an average man that stands at 5'7 adorned in pieces of Mandalorian Armor, with his signature helmet. An unusual design compared to the standard T-Visor shape. A black and yellow poncho adorns the armor he wears, underneath the armor he has dark eyes, dark hair, and scars all over his face from the Battle of Azure, his trials as a foundling, and the Invasion of Mandalore by the Sith. He has a lean muscular build from the hardships he has endured.
