SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Camelot
  • Classification: Homestead
  • Location: Naboo
  • Affiliation: House Cavello
  • Accessibility: Camelot is situated on the shores of a secluded lake in Naboo's Lake Country, several kilometers from the nearest settlement but well connected by repulsorway and private landing platforms. While not hidden, its location was intentionally chosen to provide privacy, serenity, and breathtaking views rather than easy public access. The estate occupies a prominent position atop a terraced hillside, making its domes and towers visible from across the water. The grounds are protected by discreet but highly capable security personnel, automated defense systems, and a small contingent of household guards. Visitors are welcome only by invitation, and all arrivals are screened at the main gatehouse or landing facilities before being granted entry. The surrounding gardens, lakeshore, and woodlands are privately owned and regularly patrolled. Despite its isolation, Camelot remains closely tied to Naboo's culture and political circles. Nobles, artists, diplomats, and honored guests frequently visit for galas, charitable functions, and seasonal celebrations. To the average citizen, the estate is a well-known landmark and symbol of prestige, though most will only ever admire its beauty from afar.
  • Description: Camelot is a sprawling lakeside estate located within Naboo's picturesque Lake Country, where graceful Naboo architecture meets the timeless grandeur of Avenar legend. White stone terraces cascade down toward the water, while elegant domes, soaring archways, and ornate colonnades rise above meticulously maintained gardens overflowing with pale pink roses and flowering vines. Rich purple banners adorned with the crest of a dusty rose hang from towers and balconies, lending the estate a regal identity. Waterfalls, reflecting pools, and marble courtyards are woven seamlessly into the landscape, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and refinement. Though undeniably luxurious, Camelot was designed to evoke ideals of chivalry, nobility, and stewardship rather than simple opulence, serving as both a residence and a symbol of its owner's legacy on Naboo. From a distance, the estate appears almost dreamlike, a palace of white stone and rose-colored banners overlooking crystal waters beneath Naboo's golden skies.

SECURITY
High:
While Camelot is a private noble estate rather than a military installation, its security standards exceed those of most Naboo residences due to the frequent presence of a Princess residing there without her parents. The estate is designed to ensure her safety while preserving the appearance of an elegant royal retreat rather than a fortified compound.

Security Assets:
  • Dedicated household security force stationed on the estate grounds.
  • Armed royal guards assigned to the Princess's personal protection.
  • Secure perimeter wall and controlled entry checkpoints.
  • Surveillance systems covering all major approaches, landing platforms, and public areas.
  • Biometric and encrypted access controls for private wings and sensitive locations.
  • Automated intrusion detection and alarm systems.
  • Secure communications center linked to local authorities and royal security services.
  • Private security patrols throughout the grounds, gardens, and lakeshore.
  • Emergency safe rooms within the residential wing.
  • Shielded hangar and landing facilities for royal transports.

Defenses:
  • Perimeter Defenses: Controlled access gates, patrol routes, surveillance networks, intrusion sensors, and security checkpoints at all landing platforms.
  • Internal Defenses: Restricted-access areas, security personnel stationed throughout the estate, emergency lockdown procedures, panic systems, and dedicated protection details for the Princess whenever she is in residence.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Camelot was originally constructed decades ago as a seasonal retreat for a wealthy Naboo noble house seeking a residence away from the bustle of Theed. Positioned along one of Naboo's scenic lakeshores, the estate served primarily as a place of leisure, diplomacy, and private gatherings before eventually falling into disuse as ownership changed hands over the years.

Following the rise of the New Republic, the estate was purchased by the Cavello family as part of their growing interest in Naboo's political and cultural affairs. Recognizing both its beauty and symbolic value, the family invested heavily in restoring the neglected property. The restoration preserved the estate's classic Naboo architecture while incorporating Avenari-inspired design elements that reflected the Cavellos' ideals of honor, service, and noble leadership.

Under Cavello ownership, Camelot was transformed into one of the family's primary residences and a center for social, charitable, and diplomatic functions. Its importance increased further following the arrangement of a marriage between the Cavello family and Naboo nobility, resulting in the estate becoming a frequent residence for the Princess of Avenar. Today, Camelot serves as both a prestigious family home and a symbol of the Cavello family's commitment to Naboo, the New Republic, and the traditions of responsible leadership.
