DESCRIPTION
Camden Media Group is an expansive media production and publication company. Its primary operations are newspaper and magazine publishing, holovision news programming, book publishing, and holonet content creation. It would not be unreasonable to consider Camden Media Group as an organ of the First Order propaganda machine, given its close collaboration with the First Order Ministry of Culture, but CMG's primary purpose is to make profits for its owner. At this task it has excelled, expanding the Finn-Camden family's fortune greatly over the years.

RATIONALE
Camden Media Group's story began when Hector Finn-Camden won ownership of The Daily Chronicle, a broadsheet newspaper in Calavar, Galidran's capital, in a hand of high-stakes sabacc. The previous publisher, Graham Cavendish, once he recovered from the shock of losing the jewel in his publishing crown, attempted to win the newspaper back in another hand of cards, after which Hector became the proud proprietor of the Calavar Broadcasting Service. It was at this point that Henry consulted his solicitor and was advised to house his burgeoning media empire in a corporation to limit Henry's risk. Thus, Camden Media Group was born. Henry found that he enjoyed running a media empire and soon engaged in an aggressive expansion campaign. Luckily, this coincided with the expansion and growth of the First Order, where he expanded Camden Media Group's operation. His cooperation with the First Order's Ministry of Culture proved quite lucrative and made Camden Media Group's products household names in the galaxy's largest nation. After the fall of the First Order, Camden Media Group continued to operate its media efforts in most of its existing markets.
