Description:
The cockpit seats and other furniture are upholstered in energy-resistant and energy-absorbent leather from Leviathans of Corbos, a product of a subcontract to Akure Executive Leatherworks, part of the Silk Family of Companies. This reduces some internal damage due to adverse circumstances, such as splash damage, fires, or gunfights. Taozin skin nodules, also contracted to AEL, are present inside each of the cockpit seats, rendering unrecognizable the Force signatures of those seated in the cockpit. The cockpit and all interior compartments have an anti-spalling coating. Several automated anti-decompression blast doors are present throughout the ship.
The vessel’s engines are military-grade, high-powered Eshan Drive Yards ZY-100 units, heavily radiation-shielded stealth engines. They have been fitted to burn standard fuel, not just TibannaX, and can feed from two separate fuel tanks. TibannaX is not required, but the vessel is capable of burning it if available. The ZY-100 units, the same as mounted on the 110 metre EDY Interceptor Fast Attack Ship, were acquired during Silk’s purchase of EDY and its subsidiaries. These powerful engines, combined with the sturdy hull frame, permit the Calrissian a somewhat above-average lift capacity.
The airlocks have anti-breach countermeasures, as follows. Should someone attempt to cut through a hatch, four wide-angle riot gun stun emitters, each equivalent to a Czerka HeadBanger, will put all concerned into a two-day coma (perhaps six hours if armored).
Long-range sensors and low-profile engines often allow the Calrissian to detect customs patrols, raiders, and military forces before it can be detected.
This is not a combat ship. Modest, versatile warhead capacity, a pair of autoblasters, a unique chaff/flare projector, a cap drain, a tractor shroud and a single large rotary ion turret allow the Calrissian significant operational flexibility.
