Tag your friends, tried to get as many pub Jedi as I could
"More Jedaai than Manda."
The word repeated over and over again in the young warriors head. Years of turmoil and war had brought him here. From the valleys of the Zeison Sha to the Corrupt Dark days when Jack had let his rage drive him. From the Jungle of Dathomir to the Enclaves of the Greys.
And now he was here.
More Jedi than Witch, and more Witch than Mando.
The Dar'Manda Jedaai
Yeah it fit....
There was nothing in the air except the musty smell of the forest, earth and leaf crumbled and swished under the winds. The sun was just breaking the horizon, casting an orange pall across the swaying fields of grass. In a way it reminded him of back home, at the Raxis Homestead. A place he'd never be seeing again.
And here he was..
Everything here was tranquil. The streams nearby bubbled with life. A life which fed his resolve. A resolve as iron as cold wrought steel. To bring back to life a dying order. An order his Mother had been at odds with in her lifetime, but still respected. An old way a Code long forgotten. The Jedi of the Republic would rise once more.
A summons had been sent. Not through wire or through crude communications like a commlink. It was something deeper. A calling to this very place. A stone that cast ripples in the pond of the galaxy working it's way far and wide.
Call them home....
To a new Jedi Temple.
The ripples began to stir even more as Jacks weary eyes closed. His hand unbuckled his gun belt, tossing it aside into the tall grass. The suns rays beat his face and his hands rose up into the wind, palms open receiving the nourishing currents of the light.
A chant began in his mind, starting with a small dull syllable and growing ever stronger. This was deep magic. A combination of everything he'd ever learned, a culmination of multiple force traditions. This was a consecration of holy place.
The ground shook slightly, vines and leaves roaring to life.
He was here to build. This was no Council meeting, nor some dimly lit hall where they would banter in endless circles. This was a Temple raising, using nothing but the force. Each block would be set by the collective masses of the Jedi. Failing that he would set them himself, even if it took days, weeks and months.
When the deed was done, they'd have a new beginning, a new home.
A voice whispered across the stars
"Come, build with us."

Tiland sat up abruptly, Sullust chamber dark during this night cycle. He had returned, but something in the Force had been burgeoning in him, calling to him. Nothing specific yet, but the feeling was there. Another mission, one that guided him towards something. The room was silent, save for his breathing. Calm and steady, like the Force.

"Come, build with us."

That was a worthy summons. One he felt in his bones, as ancient as they were, for to watch something as old and grand as the Jedi Knights of the Galactic Republic fall to dust and ash was a tragedy. Brought on by themselves, from what he had been able to see. As far as he could tell, all Jedi were members of the same religious order, even if their administrative and interpretations of the code differed. But at the core, they were all Jedi of the Light, and there had been a summons. One the Force urged him to answer.
-----------

Shortly after, he found himself with his meager possessions packed, slung over his shoulder, and on a ship headed for the Republic. It was rather difficult, given the Mandalorian Crusades, but those in the Alliance sectors were nothing if not brave. And thus began a quiet, meditative journey.

Then he was landing on the world, following the summons, searching for whomever it was that had sent it. Tiland was hardly impressive, hardly a warrior so many thought the Jedi needed to be. He was just an old Anzati with a love of plants and the Force. It appeared some construction had begun, but just a start. Nothing dramatic, as of yet. But this was a beginning. One he would be honored to assist with.

Owww why you got to be so loud? Sheila thought it when she heard the force call, a damnable force call that was hard to resist and even harder to answer when you were the size of a credit chit... Thankfully the As-Aki had gotten someone who made a ship for them.... it was a small ship to the humans but to her it was like being on a star destroyer just its own city. She heard to go and hear the call while the holocron she had recovered for the jedi with the twins and the old man was there in her ship for now. For safety they were trying to keep it secured away from some of the others who might try and take it with them until it could find a proper guardian. It was after all full of a lot of information compared to many of the others she had seen when she was coming in to see them with a fluttering of her wings and the synthmesh she had gotten made into a small outfit made her radiate the lightside of the force.

That last bit of light is always the hardest to snuff out.

These words rang true to Jacen. As a youngling only knowing of the Jedi and the Republic for so long, it tore him to the core to see it in such a dying state. He knew that as long as one Jedi lived, the Order could be reborn. This was why he accepted Master Heavenshield's offer to be his Padawan. While his Master was well known and any Padawan would feel beyond lucky to have him as a Master, Jacen sought only one thing; the training to rebuild the Jedi Order.

He understood there were many Jedi with many different beliefs, but his heart was to the Republic and the traditions of old. When he felt the call his heart threatened to split open his chest. He quickly informed Master [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] of the calling and was not surprised he wasn't alone. He was granted permission to leave and help his brothers and sisters for a month.

Upon arriving by transport he breathed deeply the all too familiar air and smiled as a childish pure joy embraced him. Making his way to the site he saw[member="Jack Raxis"] beginning work. He did not know the man or his past, but he was more concerned with the future. Upon approach he offered his hand to the Jedi and a greeting." I received your Call Master, I am Jacen Clanstrider and I hope to be of service to the Republic and Order."

Maxumus had been meditating when the call came. He didn't believe it was really at first, as if a whisper on the wind, but he sensed it was much more than that. He informed his master, [member="Sanya Val Swift"], who he assumed would be heading to the origin of the message much the same as he. Later that day he flew to the place where the call came from, using his personal x-wing to get there. Upon arriving, he'd go to join the other force users who'd arrived before him.

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay had heard the call all the way from Commenor. She was drinking her tea and going over schematics in her office when she had felt it from within. And she had recognized that voice. [member="Jack Raxis"] .

"Oh Jack...What are you up to now?"

Already she had gone to his summons recently, but it was to hear him claim to be at war with the Mandalorians behind the crusades and massacres of innocent lives. Of course she stood behind some of his principles, but not his methods. To go blindly into war was to put countless others into danger. He ran the risk of becoming what he fought and in doing so, had put the entire Raxian Empire at risk. It put Commenor at risk. She couldn't go anywhere. Her people needed her. They were not yet prepared for the war that threatened to come to their doorstep. Leaving now would be one of the worst things that she could do.

So she remained behind.

The woods began to come alive with the force singatures of others as the Jedi arrived. Jack would have answered them if not for the fact he was deep in meditation. The chant grew louder by a single decibel, funneling more power from the very earth and sky inside him. From his tongue rolled the ancient Dathomiri word for stone. Ground crackled and cracked, the sound of a gunshot marking crevasses that began to open from beneath their feet.

Blocks of stone began to rise up, elements weaving themselves into solid grey and orange slabs. Dirt flowed into the blocks, hardening, solidifying. As the woods began to tremble the pulse of the light grew stronger, now like waves in a pond hit by a hurricane. The energies of life, penetrating and surrounding blazed in his mind, offering themselves up to his request.

"Must lay the foundations...."

It was a mental message to the newcomers.
"Help me channel the force, help me lay the foundations."

A flurry of images would follow, flowing effortlessly over the waves of the mystical energy field from Jacks mind. A central hall miles long, with bronze, gold and silver statues. Long dead but great Jedi Masters watching over their charges even in the afterlife of the force. A huge library, hundreds of shelves pulsing with the blinking lights of data cubes. A large chamber of marble and blue cloth, where Masters met. A tall tower rising above it, overlooking eight circular walls to protect the inhabitants and the knowledge stored within....

The Force was strong in this place, or rather, not with the place, but the summoner. It would seen enmesh the entire place, however. He could feel it. To walk into the area was like walking into a sea of Light. He paused, leaning on his staff as the vision rolled through his mind. A grand Temple, most certainly, although certainly not one to his taste. Far too grand for someone like him and his view of the Jedi, but to be the center of the Republic Jedi...

That could require a grand temple, indeed.

Help me lay the foundations. Help me channel the Force, help me lay the foundations.

So that was the message now, to all those Tiland could feel gathering around. Including one in particular, one he had not sensed in a long time. Master Yael had returned. He turned as the seemingly-young woman approached, more floating than walking. And how she burned with the Light. She had been one of the few Jedi Tiland knew that was older than him, and knew of his true nature. He bowed low at the waist and she returned the gesture, pushing her hair back behind her ears.

"Well met, Wayfarer," Yael said, voice as musical as ever. "I see you too received the summons."

"Indeed, Master," Tiland answered, standing and leaning himself on the staff. "I feel the Force has a great purpose here. Shall we proceed with the foundations?"

Master Yael nodded and they each took wide stances, ones they would usually use for teras kasi training, and closed their eyes. Tiland's breath grew calm and quiet and his own ripples spread out amid the ground, reaching down into the earth, tracing through like roots. He took a deep breath and opened his mind further, tapping in with those around him, to combine their power. Then he pushed up with legs, pulling his connection with him. It pulled rock from the ground, stabilizing and solidifying it for a portion of the foundation. So began the process, and thus it would continue.

A bit on the laverish side was an understatement. He did not quite understand what was happening and why. Sure, Corsaunt had a large and extravagant temple, but why here. He admitted he knew no one here nor their hearts, but this seemed far too out of left field for Jedi and the original Jedi nonetheless.

Mass messages all over the Galaxy, like a god calling for subjects. Now a show of shaping and spells that harnessed the Force to great a temple that would stand and draw attention to itself. This was pride, envy, or maybe none of these things.

This seemed wrong and an abuse of the Force and a temple for the rich, not Jedi. He did not know what to make of all this, but he did know it was against his ways, the way of the Jedi to use the Force to bring about such a thing. If a temple should be built it should be by humbled hands and only what was needed to provide Jedi with the means to serve and protect, anything more was extravagancertainly that a Jedi had no need for.

Respectfully and silently Jacen stood there not lending a hand, but also not offering a word or action of disrespect.

Maxumus looked to the others, slightly confused by the request given through the force. Still he reached out, using the training he'd had thus far as much as possible. It might not be much, but every little helps, especially when constructing such an important place.

Yutan

Jack continued the chant, acknowledging each new presence as they joined him. There was the young and bold Jacen, who'm refused to participate. And he smiled, remembering a time before he had even dared participate in a dogma of any kind. The kid reminded Jack much of himself in youth. Then there was Tiland and his master, both wandering force warriors who'd come to the fold. Max he did not know well, nor Sheila.

There was others too now, coming forth from the woods. Some in robes, some in flightsuits and some with barely any clothing at all.
The ground pulsed and the earth shook again.
This was no mastery of power. This was no demand.

This was his request to the force, his longest reaching and greatest ally. As the combined powers of the Jedi meld began to grow the earth began to give up more of her bounty. Blocks of stone were transformed into marble, laying themselves neatly into tight fitting rows, earth fusing with earth to make a crystalline mortar. The Temple would be hard as diamonds, a sordid target to try and destroy.

Like the Jedi of the New Order must be.

Like diamonds of light, impossible to destroy or corrupt.

Now with the foundations complete a long hall began to take place, accompanied by three separate chambers and a rising tower in the middle. Stone by stone, brick by brick they were proceeding. Soon the new Temple would be complete.
"Keep the faith. Let us finish what we have begun. We are proceeding rather quickly, pace yourselves."
