Kyrie's face immediately flushed again.

"I... I don't think Grandmasters are supposed to be this open about their marriages," she stammered, looking anywhere but directly at Matsu for a moment.

She cleared her throat, trying—and failing—to regain her composure. "...She's not tall," Kyrie admitted quietly after a moment. "She's actually... about my height." A small smile found its way onto her face despite herself. "And she has silver... well, almost white hair."

The image of Switch settled comfortably into her thoughts. Kyrie nodded as Matsu described two suns in orbit. "...I like that." Her smile softened. "I kind of wish I was with her right now." The admission came easily, surprising even herself.

As the lesson came to a close, Kyrie let the connection she'd been maintaining gradually fade instead of clinging to it. Her feet settled gently onto the floor, and she rolled her shoulders before taking a long, steady breath.

She let it out slowly. "I needed that." Looking back to Matsu, her expression was calmer than it had been all day. "I imagine this is only the beginning." She glanced around the temple, then back to the Grandmaster. "...There's still a lot more to learn."

Matsu held her hands up. "Whoa no no, we do not have an open marriage. Sorry if that was the impression." She looked at the girl as she was describing Switch and she gave aa nod of her head to that. The interest in it was there and then when she wanted her to be there with her at the moment. Matsu couldn't deny that. "In fairness Hapans are some fo the tallest women you will meet. They were bred for their beauty long ago and those genes carry on and on and only get added to." She said it while remaining there but she offered a smaall grin to the girl. "And yes there is so much more and this is just the beginning."

Kyrie's eyes widened. "Oh." A fresh blush spread across her cheeks. "I wasn't... I didn't..." She rubbed the back of her neck, thoroughly embarrassed. "I'm just making this worse."

After a moment she let out a quiet, nervous laugh. "Good. I didn't really think that sounded like you." She folded her hands behind her back, still smiling faintly. "I hadn't thought about genetics and height.." She tilted her head slightly. "I guess that explains it. I don’t really know where or who I come from."

The conversation shifted back to Switch, and Kyrie's smile returned. "I don't really care how tall she is." The admission came easily. "I just..." She hesitated before finishing. "...like her."

Kyrie nodded as Matsu reminded her this was only the beginning. "Then I suppose I'd better keep practicing." A determined smile settled onto her face. "I've only just started, and I'd like to see how much farther I can go."

SHe was slightly amused at the fluster for a moment but was allowing the girl to go. "Good, training will be gradual. Rest and allow your body to focus itself, to recover and then each time you will be able to get stronger and hone your skill." She said it while moving and the wall shifted to open up other chambers and halls of the temple. "The temple is here if you wish to rest or there is your ship but have the droid refuel and stock it. We like to make sure the most care is taken when people come to visit us."

Kyrie nodded. "I can do gradual." A small smile crossed her face. "I've learned enough today that I think my brain needs the recovery as much as the rest of me."

As the walls shifted and new halls opened before her, her attention was immediately drawn deeper into the temple. "It's... bigger than I expected." She looked down one corridor before glancing back toward Matsu. "Would it be alright if I looked around for a while?" After a brief pause, another thought occurred to her. "And... could the droid refuel the ship while I do? I don't think it'll complain if someone else handles the work for once." A quiet laugh escaped her. "I'd like to see more of the temple before I leave."

"Of course." SHe said it while clapping her hands once but the temple was open for her before she was moving backwards. "Enjoy your time here and check whatever you would like. Take your time." She said it with a smile and floated up aand over towards some of the higher up offices where Hanae was moving around in the air going between her other sisters who were up there using the floating child like a ball that they could pass around. Matsu coming up and looking at them as the twins moved with their sister and were hugging their mother for the moment but there was plenty and the biots continued to work and make sure Kyrie's ship was handled.
