Call me crazy, but i'm doing it.

Father of Cathar Kaiju
I have a really cool, but weird idea.

A writer I have known for a long time want's to come back to the site. However, his character is dead... So because his character is dead, I am going to, IC, bring him back from the dead. Its going to be a rather long process, and need a couple of threads to do so. I will need a few things to set it up, and then the actual thread where we summon the person in question.

Anybody feel like bringing back a Sith Lord from the dead?

FYI, I have talked to him, and if he is brought back to life, he has promised to join the First Empire and help out. As well, this would be a good way to solidify my own character among your group. I have never known this man to break a promise.

I'm willing to help so long as it's plausible and we don't break any forum rules (I haven't seen anything on the subject but resurrecting the dead seems like the kind of thing staff would keep a lid on, no?) :)

[member="Samka Derith"], People have resurrected themselves for the Lulz.

So honestly, doing multiple threads and even considered a campaign to bring someone back from the dead should suffice. I am just asking for a little bit of help from maybe a few people just because it would be a daunting task to do on my own.

However, yes. Your concern is warranted.

[member="Wolf"], The writer was actually interested in coming back to the site, but found that his muse wasn't working well with other characters. So he want's to play Vrag.

As for IC reasoning, Atheus is someone who knows Vrag, as well as his Master working with the being in the past. Considering the man died, he owes Atheus, and the FO in resurrecting him. As for other reasons? Vrag perished before he could create his army. He would still very much want to build an army, and the FO would be a good basis to start from.

Even more so, his army is expendable to an extent. It would increase your powerbase, and bring someone into the Knights of Ren. Which as far as I can tell, you guys need help just about everywhere. *not that you are doing bad, but I can count the number of Master characters in this faction on one hand.*

I mean, if you guys don't want him, thats fine. I can take this somewhere else, but I thought since you guys were Major faction already, I am very interested in staying with this faction, and wanted to help, I thought I could maybe bring more people to aid.

Just for clarification, would Vrag become a Master of Ren? Or would they remain an otherwise independent Sith Lord who just offers their services while fulfilling whatever ulterior motives they may have?

In the end it doesn't matter either way. We would never turn a writer away from wanting to work with us. But it does have story implications down the road if all these Sith Lords end up turning on the Supreme Leader to fulfill their own grandiose schemes. Then we become not the First Order but just another Sith Empire.

[member="Sentiri"], The writer has told me he would work for the Faction as a whole. As for how much he will invest this character into, I have no clue.

[member="Darth Veles"], As in you fighting me to prevent him from coming back? or some Jedi Force fighting us to prevent it?

[member="Atheus"]

No worries. Though I do believe it is a question worthy of a direct answer if the writer themselves would like to provide one.

For instance, we all know that [member="Darth Veles"] has ulterior motives but we still work with him and he is undoubtedly one of our most active Force user members at the moment. I imagine the same can be said of many of the Sith-aligned-but-estranged who have found their way here. But being open about those motives is important for being able to work together.

Vulcanis used to write Greifen Ren i beleive. His vision for the Ren when we started bothered me greatly as he really tried stealing it into a cult and based his ideas of satan worship. Would he try to do the same with Vulcanis?

Also if the character is dead he should stay dead. People resurrect themselves too much in RP. Why not just come back with Greifen? Why not make a new character? Why not play Vulcanis as a Ghost?

[member="Darth Veles"], That would be awesome. Create more backstory, and create character development.

[member="Sentiri"], Agreed completely. Currently my own character Atheus is the same way. However, I hope to be able to add him to the KoR ranks in the future.

[member="Jaron Lesan"], As stated, if he wanted to create a cult out of it, then he could just be an ally with his own cult on the site, and not actually a part of the KoR. And, just because we bring him back, does not mean he will be on the top list of force users.

[member="Jaron Lesan"], there have been various people who have been brought back to the living. If not, it will make for a good story. Hell, if you want, jump on [member="Darth Veles"]'s bandwaggon and fight me to prevent me from summoning him.

Ultimately it's up to the writer what he wants to do with his character. And if Vrag wants to come back and join us, he can. Anyway, [member="Atheus"], this is your story. You don't need my or anyone's permission to start it. If anyone wants to try and stop you, that's their prerogative also. :)
