[SIZE=10pt]Calder was born into slavery. Having always been a healthy, strong lad, he was from an early age made to be a laborer. While on Lorrd, his duties consisted of construction, manufacturing weapons and ships—mostly doing heavy lifting—and simply being a mover (hey, someone has to move stuff). [/SIZE]
[SIZE=10pt]Like many slaves, Calder wanted nothing more than freedom. He started his active insurgency at about 13 years old, serving as a scout and informant for those leading many revolts. As he got a bit older, he started utilizing his muscle for numerous riots, acting as an unarmed infantry. He has served over a year of harsh prison time on Lorrd for advocating rebellion and inciting riots, in which he underwent a great deal of torture (he has considerable scarring from both torture and combat). As a result, he’s a bit weathered and looks much older than he is. Furthermore, he is a bit rough around the edges. At a glance, you know he’s killed a man or two.[/SIZE]
