Description: In one of his first real fights as a Jedi, Audren faced off against a Sith, stole her lightsaber, and killed her with it. He has used the lightsaber since then, not creating his own but keeping his eye out for certain rare components such as focusing crystals. In the meantime he tried to 'tame' the Sith blade, with very little success. As it happened, the only notable feature of the Sith's hilt was that it was irrevocably sealed. The lightsaber crystal could not be replaced, and it resisted his attempts to purify it of the darkness.

Eventually Audren, now a Knight, assembled enough parts to create his own blade. Two designs were created. The first he classified as as more classical and regal-looking hilt, the second simpler. He chose to fabricate the classical one, to use that. Several features were implemented, including an Echani Graphite core cylinder to prevent other lightsabers from destroying his own, non-dimetris circuits to prevent cortosis from shutting down his blade, and a bifurcating cyclical ignition to allow use under water among others. However, due to an inverted emitter matrix, the hilt itself and contents were damaged beyond repair when first being charged. The primary focusing crystal - a Sapith crystal - was shattered while the secondary - diamond - survived. Clearly, that hilt was not meant to be.

The second attempt also made use of the non-standard features. This one, however, utilized a Corusca crystal in addition to the diamond, both gems that had been found in a Massassi temple on Yavin IV. This creation was successful, with certain features minorly changed. The blade's first test as a full-powered lightsaber was to bisect the hilt of the Sith's blade...a task it performed admirably.
