Personality
First and foremost, Caelyn is quiet. She's well behaved, never speaks up much less out of turn. She does what is asked and told of her the first time she's asked or told, and there's never more than a stoic gaze on her face when she's in the company of her grandmother - whom most don't believe is her grandmother for obvious reasons. She never ventures far from the older woman, and despite being a young woman herself, Cae just doesn't act the part.
And then there's the darker truth to all of this; Caelyn is a killer, and not in the traditional sense. Being taken by her grandmother as an infant, she's admittedly lucky that she's even still alive. But, Cae quickly proved that she would be useful. She's talented in the ways of the Force, and has a raw, dangerous connection with it that she wields with deadly ability. It took all of her youth in training to get her to where she is today, and many lost battles in her grandmother's underground business, but now? Cae is everyone's favorite bet in the pits - literally.
When she's let loose from her leash - which isn't very often at all, and usually only when her grandmother needs something she can't be caught doing herself - Caelyn is still a quiet sort. She does seem softer in these times however, appears more delicate, and yet still oozes a confidence that is very much so out of place on a girl her age. She is however, unwaveringly and terrifyingly loyal to Claudia.

History
Every memory Caelyn has, has Claudia in it. She does not remember the rest of her family, has been told time and again that she was abandoned by both mother and father, and has no clue that she has older sisters either. To Cae, there has only ever been grandmother Claudia; the woman who took her in and has raised her since. True enough, the girl's life has not been ideal. She showed signs of Force sensitivity at a young age, and immediately after she was thrust into training to get her skills under control. And when she showed an aptitude for fighting, there was no question of what was to be done with her next.
Caelyn was trained to fight in the slave pits that her grandmother owns and has scattered across the galaxy - long, miserable hours, day in and day out throughout her years. Despite the pair of them (Cae and Claudia) appearing to live life up in high society, it's truly a dark existence behind the scenes. Pretty dresses, sweet words, false smiles, and the flashing of credits does nothing to dampen the reality that runs Caelyn's life.
She's a fighting slave, with her leash held tightly by her own grandmother.
There are times when she is trusted to be sent out on her own, because she always returns home. Her mind is so twisted by Claudia that Caelyn never even questions the way her life is run. To her, it's normal and has always been normal. She has been raised to know nothing different, and that fact is used against her to keep her controlled at all times.
