- Hardened Blade: The staff itself being made using other components and substantial amount of cortosis showed high durability against weapons such as a lightsaber. And so, by adding a blade made of cortosis weaved on the rare havod turned this defensive tool into a deadly weapon to be wielded. When engaged the weapon gains much cutting power around its edges and can cleave through virtually any metal with ease. Because it is cortosis itself, it has the immensely high melting point of the precious metal.
- Blaster Spear: Much like the Mon Calamari weaponry set, the spear can be used as a blaster rifle as well, shooting bolt from between its blades. The spear being capable of shooting fifty shots before being required to be reloaded, and has a excellent rate of fire. Although its range it is not the same as a proper rifle.
- Blaster Spear: If hit too many times directly, right at its canon mouth, it is possible to overheat the weapon causing it to explode.
- Overheating: Due to the inherent risks of using high heat for a long period of time (i.e. warping of the metal, damaging the heating elements, etc.) the spear can only engage the extreme settings for thirty minutes at a time. After that, the weapon automatically engages a “safe mode” that will allow it to cool down and preserve the components. This safe mode is slaved to a twenty minute period, and cannot be overridden.
- Mirror match: Because it has the melting point of Cortosis, it cannot be used to melt Cortosis or other lightsaber resistant metals. This is because it would take as much time to accomplish as the weapon itself could withstand before going into safe mode, and therefore risks trading the weapon for the intended target- something its creators felt was inadvisable.
- Handle with care: using this sword in combat requires a trained hand and a competent mind. Because of how heavy it is, and the volatile nature of the weapon, a single misstep could spell disaster.
- EMP: The use of EMP makes its technological trinket completely useless and thus makes it a simple spear.
At Her Grace's request, the droid received what most organic beings only dream, a spear more fitting to a king than the hands of a machine. Its spear was meant to serve as his greatest eapon against any force user he faces, for it is known that this droid was meant exactly thinking on protecting his mistress against other force users. The brilliant minds of Automatron worked day and night to to meet the requirements of His Grace, the idea was to make a blade capable of heating up like metal in a furnace, becoming a lethal weapon for organic beings and other metals.
The weapon was delivered to its creature, meant to be his primary way for wreaking havoc.
