DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Advanced targeting system: Combined with the sensors, the advanced targeting system here is designed to rapidly distinguish friend from foe, hit with brilliant precision to reduce friendly fire and maximize enemy damage.
  • Faraday cage: This droid comes with a dandy Faraday cage to combat against ion and EMP attacks
  • Mountable: The Cabur-class Sentry droid is designed to be mounted in a variety of situations; on bulk-heads, against walls, on the floor, the limit is really only the imagination of the user.
  • Passive Charging: The Cabur has a passive charging capability, all you need to do is hook it up to an external power source through a power cord or just wiring it under the paneling of where you mount it. Honestly, the limit is up to the user's imagination and resources.
  • Vocabulator: The Cabur comes with 4 different languages that can be programmed into it, with basic being one of those 4. However, the user can re-program these to their desires.

Strengths:
  • Targeting/Sensors: The Cabur has a full 360 scanning and targeting area, constantly active. It recognizes friend or foe within a hundredth of a second with 99.99% accuracy along visual, biometric, heat, etc scopes (the numbers don't get much doper than that, folks).
  • Programmable protocol: It can be given protocols on what to do with intruders (sirens, vocal warnings, stun rounds, lethal attacks, etc) to the desires of the user. It never disobeys the orders given (cause droid), and never gets tired as long as you keep its passive charging able. The user is able to make these as simple as they'd like "shoot everyone who comes here, leave no survivors" to as complicated as they'd like, "Shoot every man with a grey cloak that passes with a stun round. But if he has a mustache, give him a stun round and sing Happy Birthday." Basically, whatever the user wants, they will get.
  • Comms: The Cabur's long range encrypted comms can passively relay its data with ease, and receive orders from quite an impressive distance.
Weaknesses:
  • Immobile: Now, here is the bad news. The Cabur doesn't move. At all. If the prey moves out of sensor range, the Cabur cannot do anything to pursue or give further intel, its basically going to just sit there. The Cabur cannot move to re-enforce positions or really anything at all like that. Also, since it is immobile, its advised to be very strategic where the Cabur sentries are placed.
  • Mounting time: The Cabur can be mounted--however it takes time depending on how the user opts to do so. Simply mounting it takes a matter of 15 minutes or so, welding can take hours, or using magnetic grips can take like 3-5 minutes. Other methods could take longer, if the user opts for them, but these are the most popular. Basically, the idea is if the Cabur is going to be mounted somewhere, its not as easy as tossing it out in the open and watching it clamp down.
  • Programming: We at RMIA advise the users of this droid to be very careful with how they use this droid. The Cabur will not react how it is not told to. If you tell it to shoot everyone that passes it will--including friendly targets. If you do not give it an order to shoot something like "shoot gusy in blue armor" but they enemy is wearing green, the Cabur will not shoot them. There are unintended consequences for bad protocol relegated to the Cabur.

DESCRIPTION
At RMIA we are all for making the world safer. And frankly, that doesn't happen until we start by making droids that have the intended purpose to stand guard and defend. For this, we made the Cabur-class Sentry droid.

The Cabur acts as a perfect sentry, it follows orders to a fault, it does not grow tired or bored, it cannot be bribed, and it will never leave its post. Plus, you never have to pay it wages, so its got that going for it.

When installed, the user sets the protocols for what they would like the droid to do with various conditions. These can be changed later on, however, the Cabur comes with a fail-safe for this. It asks the user to give them a security question--or up to 5--and they must all be answered for the protocol to be changed. If even one fails, the protocols remain the same and the user must wait 5 minutes before they may try again. Also, the user is alerted to this failed attempt.

All in all, its just a sentry droid.
