Description: The C107 HEAP Attachment is all about functionality. Small, light and easy to carry, the C107 is all about allowing infantry formations of all sizes to get explosive rounds down range to a distance of 450 metres. It is cheap and easy to produce, much easier to carry and just as effective as a conventional grenade launcher, and can be used in tandem with the blaster rifle it is mounted on. This attachment makes the grenadier-style soldier a much more effective warfighter in this day and age. Despite its advantages, the C107 is slow to load and fire, and does not arm its projectile until 20 metres after firing, making it an ineffective weapon in extremely close quarters. However, the C107 does exactly what it is designed to do without much fuss or reliability problems. Its adjustable mounting assembly allows it to be attached to most blaster rifles used during this era, and it is fast becoming a favoured weapon amongst the Fringe Marines.
