- Blaster Actuating Module - A simple upgraded blaster actuating module with custom firmware and a stronger electromagnetic accelerator that provides a more powerful blaster bolt that often penetrates further into a target than other weapons.
- Weapon Harness - A series of load-bearing straps and harnesses connected to a gyro-stabilized, power-assisted boom arm that is attached directly to the weapon.

- Stopping Power - A cornerstone of the C-14 line is its Blaster Actuating Module which provides a more powerful impact and stopping power to the weapon. Much like its predecessors in the C-14 series, the Blaster Rifle variant is also equipped with one of these modules.
- Power Pack - Each C-14 Heavy Blaster Rifle is attached directly to a power pack via a reinforced cable. This allows the weapon to function for longer periods of time before the pack needs to be recharged.
- Weapon Harness - Each C-14 Heavy Blaster Rifle also comes with a weapon harness, with the rifle already mounted on the accompanying boom arm. These harnesses carry much of the weight of the weapon and its power pack.

- Reliability Issues - Experienced throughout the C-14 series; these issues are caused due in part to the Blaster Actuating Modules installed in the weapons.
- Power Pack Exposed - Unlike other weapons, the power pack of the C-14 is worn on the back of the individual utilizing the weapon. This makes them ample targets for those desiring to either disable the weapon or potentially cause the pack to overload and discharge.
- Cumbersome - Large and unwieldy, even with the included harness, the C-14 is awkward. It can take anywhere up to ten or fifteen standard minutes to properly don the weapon (nearing 20 to 25 without the aid of others).

The heavy hitter of the C-14 line, the C-14 Heavy Blaster Rifle is more akin to a wearable E-Web Repeating Blaster; though with a lower rate of fire and only slightly more maneuverability. These weapons are meant to take the place of a squad support weapon and then-some - providing the equivalent of two squads worth of fire in a short period of time. However; they are also cumbersome and leave their operator exposed more than a standard Repeating Blaster would - due in part to having to wear the weapon's power pack on their back.
A thick cable runs along the length of the power assisted boom arm that holds the weapon, feeding power from the pack directly into the weapon. Damage to this crucial piece could mean the difference between a C-14 firing and one that's been knocked out of commission. Likewise, it experiences its own reliability issues due to the blaster actuating module installed in the C-14 weapons - however its capability of penetrating deeper than normal blaster shots is a trade off that many operators seem to accept.
Where as the C-14 Heavy Blaster Pistol and the C-14 Blaster Carbine are utilized in more controlled environments that require sound thinking and rationale, the C-14 Heavy Blaster Rifle is completely the opposite. Operators of these weapons are often taught to utilize the 'spray and pray' method when firing. Worrying about unleashing withering hails of blaster bolts more so than accurate bursts. While a single C-14 Heavy Blaster Rifle with the proper support is itself devastating, a squad of these weapons working in tandem is a nightmare.
