Description: The BV-S 3 Security Droid is Brand-Volcata Industries’ answer to the question of corporate security. Keeping in line with their modernized feel, BVI has created a base security model droid, capable of recognizing up to one thousand facial signatures at once in standalone mode. When synced to a central hub, this capacity increases tenfold. The droid stands taller than the average human weighing a mere 104 kg, only slightly heavier than an average human considering its durable construction and powerful motor components. Equipped with an auditory sensor and vocalizer suite the droid is able to converse in three programmable languages at once, though due to its function primarily as a security droid, it is only able to hold three language sets at a time without significant time to program/upload a new language software.
With the primary function being security, the only modular piece of equipment is the data storage capacity and software (Though this requires a high level programming skill and requires several hours of work to affect). As all other droids, this particular model is only mildly ion resistant, not built as a combat droid it is more resistant to blunt force trauma and standard blaster fire than ion weaponry.
The main purpose of this droid is to serve as visible, low maintenance security with an exceptional ability to address physical threats. Programmed with a plethora of unarmed compliance techniques, these droids are equipped to neutralize the threat in a non-lethal way until additional human support is available. Equipped with a stun blaster in each palm and a small ion discharge unit in each forearm, this droid is able to address both organic and nonorganic threats with ease. Being constructed as a biped, it is capable of running extremely fast and are able to climb and jump nimbly without fear of tipping over or falling due to a complex gyro device housed in the chest cavity of the droid.
Equipped with a multi-color diode system, this droid comes with over 256 perceivable color changes in its visual light displays, customizable to the user’s preference. Mechanically, special attention was given to the droid’s feet as it is able to tilt, turn, and adjust much like a human foot giving it the ability to be extremely agile and able to maintain balance easily. A specially designed polymer has been applied to the underside and sides of the feet to assist in superior grip of even the slipperiest of surfaces. The only other prominent feature is the photoelectric compound coating used on the cranial dome which is utilized as a supplement to the battery contained within the droid, using this compound it is able to mitigate and replaced spent charge over a long period of time. Using this method to recharge the battery fully would take several days and is primarily used to recharge the stun and ion charges of the droid which if utilized solely will take roughly 12 hours to replenish all charges. Standard battery life is fifteen days without recharge and operating at average efficiency.
