Avidich - Unknown Regions World

Relief Distribution and Coordination Center

Objectives -
  1. Individuals without Medical or Agricultural experience are focused on distributing food, helping set up shelters for those that need it, and simply doing whatever they can to make things easier on the people.,
  2. Individuals with Healing or Medical Experience, help with any individuals with small or large medical problems/injuries. All kinds of things from broken limbs, heat exhaustion, and whatnot.,
  3. Individuals with Agriculture and Plant Surge Experience, provide support in revitalizing the ruined and destroyed crops and fields. Offering options to help diversify the foodstuffs there as well as aiding in growing it for those with the ability to help speed up the recovery of the world.

Avidich, a world that most would have never noticed, never given much thought for most. It was a simple world, one that the Chiss Ascendancy once relied on for food to be grown and sold or rather distributed to the worlds that had a much harder time growing food. It was necessary for the well being of the Unknown Regions, atleast the portion of space that had once been the Ascendancy's worlds.

But the world was not in a good state, instead it had suffered and unknown outbreak from a crashed vessel that had landed on the planet a few months prior. What was at first a small outbreak had started to spread and the planet quickly found itself under threat of disease and famine as the crops so necessary to the world had died out as well. Individuals had been sent, those who volunteered or had been commanded to aid arriving and being organized so that the relief can be completed swift. A cure had been developed a few days prior, and with the relative safety now more secure, the Senate had been offered the chance to show they would not abandon the worlds on the far edges of the Alliance.

It was this spin that Alexandra had wished for the Senate to take advantage of, organizing it and helping get those she worked beside into places where they could help. Some of them perhaps even had prior medical knowledge, or came from food producing worlds themselves and had served on a farm in their own life time. It was a way for her to get a more human side of the Senate seen by the general populace all while the War Effort was not the sole focus of the media storm for once.

Additionally, she had ensured that the Jedi were given access to the world too. While there were individuals more suited for battle, even those like Jand Talo Jand Talo could be helpful in moving equipment or protecting people. Even the most basic medical training could be used to help patch someone up or keep them calm, and she knew this would be both an opportunity for the Jedi to show they still would be there and that the war would not be the only place people could expect to find Jedi. After all, the Jedi of the New Jedi Order were more than just warriors, even if they were needed for that role too.

For Alexandra herself though, she had found a place where she could do the most work. A Vessel that had been crafted by Matsu Ike Matsu Ike and with the help of Alexandra now carried the Tree and Nexus that had been tended to so carefully for nearly a century now. The anchor of the Nexus able to be brought with Alexandra, and even more it could be implanted onto the surface of a planet thanks to the the nature of the Living Vessel. Alexandra did still laugh at the name of the vessel, 'The Giving Tree' she had been told was the name that Matsu had given and that the vessel itself seemed to enjoy, a name Alexandra had to accept at this point. Even as it settled in and rooted itself into the ground though, the outershell left in orbit above, Alexandra could feel it bring with it a rush of life.

The Lightside rushed forth, spreading out into the distribution center itself, but also spread through the ground and into the roots of the world. The plants being seeded onto the dead fields given that small boost and those who healed and tended to the sick and injured finding their use of the Force only amplified and the relief easier to give to the many thousands that needed treated.

Alexandra herself had set up a small place, a tent right infront of the impressive tree that almost seemed to glow with a silver color, the cracks in the bark of the tree shining through and looking as if rivers of energy coursed through the tree itself. There she could both help direct efforts, but any Jedi and those who were connected to the force would find her in a very different state. As opposed to her recently normal state, the half of her soul being missing when she had been away from Alderaan, she was whole. The Force flowing from the tree and pushing into her, spreading through her as she for once spoke without issue and could actually aid individuals. Her left arm still remained immobile, but she lacked any sign of pain while she worked to coordinate the with some doctors who had come to update her on the status of the cure's distribution.

It was in this tent, where Alexandra could for once show what energy she had before Coruscant, that any who sought her could find her.

Objective 1&2:

While the work Arlow was doing wasn’t glamorous, it was completely necessary. Knowing her inherent need to help the common sentient, Arlow’s Master @Kyric had given her permission to participate in Alexandra Feanor Alexandra Feanor ’s Goodwill Mission to Avidich. An assignment a little outside her comfort zone, as Arlow had always seen herself leaping into action to save those in immediate danger. However, what she was doing now, she could see, was just as important.

Arriving on the aggrieved world had been a humbling experience for the young Jedi, and one she would not soon forget. The gaunt, hollow faces of the populace had reminded her something she should not have forgotten, no matter how pressing the idea of impending combat and skirmishes against Sith sat looming on the horizon. Death wasn’t always quick and violent. Sometimes, it was a slow, ravenous rot. This agrarian world, not too dissimilar to Arlow’s own, had faced devastation at the hands of the latter. There was no glorious battle for the fates of the populace here, no daring last-minute rescue. No, what had saved them thus far was perseverance and medical brilliance. What would save them next would be MORE perseverance, and hard, backbreaking work.

Arlow would be a part of that work. While not the flashiest of abilities, Arlow was quite proficient in Force Telekinisis, to the point where she was drafted into using her abilities to move some of the larger, more delicate equipment. Her long hours of practicing on trainings dummies paid off now, though not in the way she had expected. Instead of stabilizing spinal columns, immobilizing crush inuries, preventing Compartment Syndrome, or moving beings impaled (as she had been) by pieces of rubble, Arlow was moving crate upon crate of vital healing supplies to medical tents without harming the fragile contents inside. She was delivering aid to these people, in the most literal sense of the word.

When not lifting and carrying literal tons of doctoring supplies, Arlow could be found putting her triage skills to good use. When each new wave of those seeking aid arrived on the site, the girl would be among the first to assess them, scanning quickly and efficiently for the heart of their issues so that they could be directed to the more specialized aid worker that could truly care for what ailed them. When such waves were dispersed, the need for more supplies to serve them would spike, and Arlow would once again be sent to fetch crate upon crate of medicine, tools, seeds, fertilizer, portable shelters, water filters, or whatever other material good was needed desperately by the populace.

It was a vicious cycle, one that worked Arlow to the bone sunup to sundown with hardly a break to feed or water herself, but the young woman would not pause. She would work until she dropped. These people deserved no less. So, drawing on a reserve of stamina she didn’t quite know she had, bolstering her limbs with the energy she needed to go just one more cycle, Arlow learned well a lesson held dear in the heart of many Jedi: while battle brought glory, true aid and healing of a world in shadow could only begin by humbly serving amongst the people in the aftermath. Her true purpose, after all, was to aid the people of the Galaxy wherever and however she could, to the best of her abilities. Though Arlow well knew she would be learning sharper, more violent lessons on the battlefield soon, she nevertheless relished the opportunity she had been given to better herself, and the Galaxy as a whole, in a small moment of hope..
