Building a Friendship

A gift was sent from JAC Headquarters, the Datacron one Darth Odium had sought to trap bidders with, enticing that it was the Holocron of Darth Nox. Inside, was the personal views of Odium on the ritual, with additional flaws Damien saw. Nowhere within, did it hold the knowledge to use the ritual fully though, to his and their own likely dismay. As well, none of the information added would lead back to D, seeming only as if a secondary writer had seen the information as partial or unfinished.

Little did the Nautolan (believe thats what Odi is..) know its lack of initial information would send a hunger through Damien, one that had nearly cost him his life multiple times during the ensuing journey. But in the end, D was the cocky one; Odium wanted Nox's Holo to himself? Keep it. Damien had found Lord Ergast's, and therefore the truest of knowledge pertaining to Force Walking.

Now the Datacron was being sent, with a message attached, "Having not seen you near my estates yet, I take it as a trust between us. Lets continue this relationship, and bring devastation to the galaxy."

Power flared to life within the man, as a jet black film over came his eyes. Lord Ergast's Spirit stood nearby, irate as always, spewing about how any being that came to him ought to slice his yada yada. Damien wondered of what he could do to right this..

[OOC: Sorry it took so long D:]

Darth Ayra lifted her gaze from the floor. The giant empty of the Sith Citadel's throne room stretched for miles. It was a replica of the old room where the obsidian throne had stood- before [member="Mikhail Shorn"] had broken it and [member="Darth Vornskr"] had replaced it with his own version, prior to the United Mandalorian Clan's occupation of Dromund Kaas. She was now the Dark Lord of the Sith- replacement title for Dark Chancellor and return to old routes, so she felt. Not that she held overall power over the Sith Empire. The aforementioned former Emperor and another in the form of [member="Darth Arcis"] held a triumvirate alongside her, after having taken over from what had been a set of former Sith Emperors respectively. In a way she was glad [member="Darth Vulcanus"] had disappeared.

She was fresh and new to a scene that had been held by men and creatures who had, in all pretense and purposes, failed the Sith Empire. After all, this was a New Order.

Her sulfuric eyes found the parcel being delivered to her by one of the few servants that worked within the confines of the Sith Citadel on Mytus VII. She read the message and nearly smiled, before turning her gaze to the datacron. A small piece of knowledge, but a foundation for development. Sliding her hand into her Sith robe, she produced a communique and brought up the same frequency that had been used when she had spoke with the anonymous client who had tried to buy the Nox Holocron. "You say you wish to bring devastation to the galaxy. But we've yet to meet face to face. Curious."

Little did she know the man was the Sith apprentice (former?) of [member="Darth Voracitos"] and that the two of them held a seat in the current defunct League of Red. It would be even more interesting when the two of them learned of each others identities.

It is true that he is Voracitos' student, but at the time of full induction into the Mandalorian's recently, Damien had more or less renounced his ties to the Sith - his Master would always have his loyalty however. But that did not mean he ignored his dark heritages, nor could he any longer with the always present current of darkside energies eating at the tissues of his being. Ergast's power brought a great deal of strain, but he bore the challenge.

Once more, another message was sent, this one hailing from a seperate sector of space if ever tracked, as well included came coordinates that lead to a small building on Dantooine:

I stayed in that auction house, survived to escape with Nox's saber, and fhe Datacron. If you had, we probably could have had our face to face. But I have no fear of meeting you. I will later be at a cantina on Dantooine, finishing other business, meet me there.

[member="Darth Ayra"] [member="Enigma"] (Its all good, dont sweat it)

"Dantooine?" thought Ayra. "One of the worlds on the Mandalorian border. Thought to be the place of a Jedi Temple, as well. It's part of my plans to annex worlds along the border in order to stop the Mandalorians expanding our way." Lowering her hands to type a response to her unknown friend, she said. "I will meet you on Dantooine. I will be the one everyone will be looking at."

Lowering her hands away from the communique and sliding it back into the Sith robe she wore, the Dark Lord of the Sith rose from her throne and made her way to the Niathal-class transport nearby, to make her way to the Dantooine system.

Damien sat surprisingly unguarded, no armor, no guards, hardly any weaponry. It would seem the addition of Ergast's power to his own had changed the way he saw life. Drinking from a coffee cup, he cringed, it tasted like poodoo. Was it difficult to make a good cup of joe from high quality items? Why did it always have to be disgusting?

Peeking an eye up as a new power touched his mental peripheral, he readied himself. Things could happen a number of ways, both good and bad, depending on his actions aside [member="Darth Ayra"]'s own as well.

Ayra slid herself into a seat across Damien and surveyed him. Then it clicked. "Now I know who you are," she said. "You're the man I fought on Kaas before it was destroyed." Leaning her chin onto her hand she studied him quietly.

Damien nodded, "Took me near the same time frame to put that together. Now that I know we both know each other, only the barest information is required. My name is Northstar." Damien paused a moment and offered a comical slight bow, then seemingly speaking to no one he said, "Shut it. I wont hear anymore of your drivel." But then again his attentions were on the woman before himself, "I asked you here for a simple reason, your power. You possess a potent level of strength, placing you in optimum positions. This could aid my future plans.

"But, other then your strength, I know nothing about you." Damien continued, "Not even what faction you lay your ties." Then again his gaze slid to a place filled with nothing but air, "One more time old man. Just one, and its back to the tower." He said. Ergast as always cursed him, spoke snide remarks, swore, threatened, et cetera. The only way he had found to punish the spirit was retreating to utter solitude to work.

Ayra's face considerably contorted in a near bout of rage, until she realized that Northstar wasn't talking to her, but someone else. She looked around the bar, searching for the source of Northstar's outbursts. She found nobody. Her gaze turned back to him. "Before we settle down to business, can I ask who you are talking too?" Her gaze returned to a somber glare. Pandeima had obviously done her work on her Sith apprentice. If this meeting had occurred years ago, then half the bar would of been gone by now in a bout of unadulterated rage. Northstar was a lucky man.

Damien stared blankly for a long moment, then chuckled, "Right. Apologies. You cant see him." Damien scratched at his jaw, then gestured loosely to a point over [member="Alicia Drey"]'s shoulder, "One ancient and continuously pissed Lord Ergast resides just there. Before you ask, yes that means I accomplished learning Force Walking despite the lack of explanation found in that defunct Datacron.

"Boy wasnt that a task...no you old fool, shove it where - sorry. He is..difficult." Damien said rubbing at his temples, where upon brushing back his hair line it could easily be noted that his flesh held a deep grey coloring when once it was lush. The powers of such a being, combined with the already potent Anzati's Force Limit, was tearing him apart at the seams. Apparently as a constant as well. If not for his natural healing abilities, it is quite likely he would be dead.

Instead the never ending agony drives him, pushing him to achieve his goals, hardening his already undeniable will.

Alicia turned to look at where Northstar was looking as he spoke again, when he wasn't speaking to her. Her leg crossed over the other before her eyes met his own. "So you managed to do it then? How?"

Damien pondered explaining the Holocron, and instead simply shrugged, "Cant give away secrets free." Taking a drink from a nearby glass he eyed the woman over his glass, thinking of his next words. "Where do you hail from? Not in the literal, but where do you lay your head? We need some foundation if you expect answers of your own."

"You could say we could meet on Chandrila, if it came to us meeting in person. But I would be the one arranging the meet up. Why the curiosity, Northstar?" After asking her question, Ayra gave the Mandalorian-Dark Jedi a chance to think, as she turned to the bartender. "Corellian wine, half."

"Shouldn't I be curious by default? The best way to know anything is to ask. If not for that, then maybe because Im looking for allies whom are trust worthy. No one can expect to change things without aid." Damien murmured, eyes still fixated, ever trying to figure the woman out, "And as said, I have big plans. So i need assistance.

"Maybe you and your's will be my main asset. Thus, I need to know what kind of a person you are, any factions you tie to, and the like. Of course it is a mutual offering, so you will learn of myself as well."

"Before we continue, we need to make some things clear, Northstar." Ayra lifted the wine to her lips and tasted it a moment. Satisfied, she lowered the glass back onto the counter and turned her gaze back onto the Mandalorian Dark Jedi. He would never forget those yellow, predatory eyes that told a thousand words as to the individual that he was dealing with. Dangerous, was a word that would come to mind. "I am everywhere and I do not say that without overestimating my worth. Until very recently I was the Dark Chancellor of the New Order, a project began by a Graug Sith Lord named Darth Vulcanus. He was the last of the Sith Emperors of the defunct Sith Empire destroyed by the Jedi Order and Mandalorian Clans. He was of the One Sith for a time, but he left them in pursuit of his own Empire. He disappeared soon afterwards and I do not know why, but I stepped in that position and took over the project, which ultimately failed."

"It is no skin off my back to see the New Order die. It was a means to an end and the mean did not come. To the One Sith, of which I am a member of, I dismantled the New Order and destroyed a heretic to the will of their unseen Dark Lord of the Sith; and that suits me fine. The ships and technology that Vulcanus and his subordinates were turned over to Darth Shara. Now I have leverage in future... incidences with the One Sith."

"As a member of the One Sith, I can tell you that our reach is far and wide. That is to say my reach is far and as wide as well. With nothing more than a few words, I can orchestrate events you wouldn't believe. I also have my ties in the Confederacy of Independent Systems. But that is a far bigger secret."

She picked up the wine a second time, drank from it and smacked her lips at the taste. Lowering it back down into it's previous position, Ayra locked eyes with the Mandalorian. "And now it is your turn to talk."

Damien arched a brow as she spoke, pouring out quite the story. Nodding he offered a smile, "I have been a member of the Sith Imperium since my birth. I fought beside Palpatine for a time, ran piratic missions, and generally was a grievance to the masses. I have been taught by Voracitos, Emperor to the Imperium. Before, I learned on Eshan, fought next to the Ysanna, have battled with Maelibi. So many decades worth of honing my skills..

"My abilities have been demonstrated and proven on multiple attempts, and for a time I even play host to a dark entity called the Korrinissi. Then I joine the Mandoa, and became a potent warrior in their ranks. What more do you wish to know?" Damien said. Then smiled, "Maybe, if I bring into the play the ability to bind spirits of the truest form, the One Sith will help me to reach my next steps in strength."

"Who said I would like us to work together in the One Sith, Northstar?" She smiled. "I'm looking for someone to work with me for a single goal: changing Mandalorian perception; and you're perfect for that. You're a man that understands our goals and perhaps in time, you'll come to understand my own, if they become revealed to you."

"I am married to the work Northstar and there is a lot to be done. But what are your goals? What do you want?"

"I never asked if you wanted to work with me. Simply, i mentioned it may be logical for me to follow the Sith for a time once more." Said Damien, "To change the views of my fellow vod, this is going to be difficult. I am accepted, but only by a few, and those that do, scrutinize me wholy.

"My goals? I seek to bring true Fourth Imperium of the Sith to the galaxies. To bring peace through forced calm." Damien murmured, eyes unfocused for a moment, as if seeing something not there, "I want to fix this wretched disaster of galactic life."

[member="Alicia Drey"]

| [member="D-Man"] |

"I too have the same aspiration. But it will be difficult to achieve with the many enemies that the Sith have." She turned away, focusing her gaze on her glass. "I read once that a Dark Lord of the Sith and a Mandalorian fought. They called this Mandalorian Mand'alor. The Mand'alor lost his fight with the Sith and in return, the Mand'alor served the Sith and their goals. The Sith-Mandalorian alliance was created."

"I also read of another instance when the Sith created a Mand'alor. They took a man and through hard work, they convinced the Mandalorian people that he was their Mand'alor. The Mandalorians worked for the Sith again. Another alliance."

"I'd like to do something similar to that. I have asipirations of creating a New Order. That was what the New Order was, peace through strength. It is still alive, but now it is underground, in the shadows, waiting to rise again. Why is that Northstar? Because the Mandalorian people have crushed the Sith two times. I have a great respect for the Mandalorians and their strength."

Ayra looked back up to Northstar. "Why don't I make you Mand'alor?"

Damien cracked a grin, a true instance of his humor rather that of his fury, "That...

"Would definitely make plans far more simple. But before then, I will need to reach the rank of Master. The Mandoa have several in their ranks, and even with my recently obtained power I dont know if I can compete against such odds." Said Damien as he leaned back. His mind raced.

Nothing like this had come to mind: his goals being purely for the Sith. But her logic was undeniable. If he could obtain leadership of the vod, the next Imperium would be worthy of hosting dominance of the galaxies.

"I can help make you a Master, Northstar. My reach is long... my reach is good." Her words echoed Voracitos here. She found the words of the Emperor fitting. After all, she was effectively playing his game. "Pass me the item I came here for. I will be in contact with you, in time. There will be a gathering of sorts I plan to create. Here, we will plot your rise to dominance, Mand'alor."
