Kay looked to [member="Jorhan Stahl"] as he spoke. She knew where he was coming from. Neither of them knew eachother very well, so they weren't aware of how they all worked and interacted with others. Would the Alliance suffer ftom Yutan's departure? Of course it would. Yet so too would oppressing their people and making them suffer.

[member="Corey Brave"] spoke next. Kay turned her attention to him. He wanted to be the one to go with her, yet she wasn't entirely sure about his motives. But she had to remind herself that they all wanted the same thing, to keep this alliance together. It's only that their methods were different.

Senator Stahl seemed to be in agreement with Senator Brave. She knew that she'd have no choice. The Senate doesn't trust her to get the job done on her own. They lacked faith in her and that wasn't a good thing. Kay had to show them that she was worthy of the position that she held.

She closed her eyes for a brief moment and nodded before opening them again. "If the others are in agreement then Senator Brave will go with me. I am sure that together we can set Yutan back on the right path and see that they are much stronger with us than without us."

Kay looked to each of them in turn. "Does anyone have anything else to say about Yutan? Any other ideas or suggestions?"

The clacking of the Senator's shoes could be heard in the hall as she rushed through its great architecture in an effort to make it to her first meeting. Silfe had, of all things, gotten lost. If course this was how her first day would go, she coded herself. The thought of her father's reaction when he was told of her blunder was enough to make her blink hard to avoid tears. Behind her, one of her guardsmen or rather, one of her father's guardsmen ran behind. Inevitable this would be reported back to him and she fretted even more.

She finally recognized the large does of the Senate chamber and sighed a deep sigh of relief. Almost feeling lightheaded, Silfe paused before the closed doors to catch her breath and readjust her gown and hair. She had chosen a gold, black, and red gown. This gown she had chosen was easier to move in than the gold feather one she had worn upon her arrival on planet and her first meeting with [member="Lady Kay"]. Her hair was down in all its dark curling glory, falling to her tiny waist. She still was painfully thin, to thin to be healthy.

"Your father would have expected better than this from you. You are late to your first ever meeting." a voice said sigh behind her. She tensed mid-adjusting and then allowed her hands to fall from her hair. "I am aware Ishra. I was not planning on being late and you are making me further detained in order to chide me." She said and then realizing who she was talking to, she bowed her head in suplication. The look on his face was not one of been mollified but she had no time to reassure him and apologize for her tone. She pulled open the doors, pushed her fear away and put on a bashful smile.

"A thousand sincere apologies fellow counsel members. I...." a blush came to her cheeks as she rushed in, her guard scowling behind her as though he had eaten something rotten. "I got lost. I hope I am not to late to be here?" It was as she had thought. Everyone had arrived before her.

Kay looked to the doors as they opened. To her surprise it was [member="Silfe Sosuri"] walking in. She had wondered where the new Senator was, but then again there were other Senators that were missing.

"Senator Sosuri, you are quite late, but not too late for what I had originally called this meeting for. So you are forgiven. This time....However, we have seemed to come in agreement about what to do with Yutan."

She clenched her jaw and glanced down to her datapad before looking up at her other Senators. "Are we ready to discuss the Charter? Or am I to assume that you all like it as it is?"
