Budgeting the budget.

Please consider this an open opportunity for the heads of the various departments and divisions of the Galactic Republic to look at their budgets and request additional funding.


I will not promise it will work but it never hurts to try.


IE I need threads for this to justify his existence.

This is less about what your specific budget is and more about what you want it to be.

Set something up. Once the numbers are crunched and a consensus reached Viktor can stamp it and send it to the committee for a vote or explain why he won't endorse it.

I'm totally down. But being on the appropriations committee, and being a spending-focused socialist, Martika will be grilling every single budget request. Better start thinking of good reasons why we should fund you.

The question is: would buying supplies to save the starving citizens of Cartao, and assist in its reconstruction, be worth the cost of 5 million requested by the Cartao authorities? (Star Tours would be hauling the shipment, and One Sith threat is expected to be minimal thanks to them redirecting their forces on Coruscant in its defense)

And also, as far as military hardware is concerned, would a squadron of minesweeping vehicles suffice? For 1.2 million per squadron of 12, the Republic would also get 12 spare rotating flails.

Hey guys I'll be going on an LOA here from tuesday on for approximately two weeks.

So Martika will have to take charge of things.

Just say Caius is to busy with a domestic affair at his constituency to be there for the start of the meeting. If its still going by the time I get back then I may get him in but I already owe posts in to many places!
