GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Sirracus Wyrm
    [*]Affiliation: The Bryn'adûl
    [*]Classification: Tracker
    [*]Equipment: N/A
[*]Description: Sirracus Wyrms are large land-based creatures, with a sickly translucent pale set of scales covering a large muscled and monstrous body. A single Sirracus is roughly nine metres in length, using its spiked tail to stab opponents. The Sirracus spends a lot of its time underground, but due to their mutated bodies have limited tunnelling abilities and often times move through the surface as well. The Sirracus' tendrils that extend from its face act as organic sensors, allowing the Sirracus to see around itself without the use of its limited vision.

COMBAT INFORMATION:
  • Unit Size: Medium
  • Unit Availability: Uncommon
  • Unit Experience: Trained
  • Combat Function: The Sirracus exist as hunters and trackers, usually hunting particular groups of isolated targets. Typically Sirracus are deployed after a conflict, hunting down survivors of battles.
Strengths:
  • Lithe: Whilst not capable of tunnelling in the same manner as their larger brethren, the Sirracus' are capable of fitting into a variety of places, their muscle based body and weaker skin allowing for a great deal of flexibility and versatility of stealth through terrain.
  • Quick: Over short distances, a Sirracus can move startlingly fast, able to use the muscles of their body to jolt themselves forward.
  • Poison: The upper set of teeth of a Sirracus' and the two daggers at the end of its tail carry a powerful poison. It does not cause pain, nor numbness but simply paralyses the victim. With a full injection, the poison can cause complete paralysis in an average human within two minutes.
  • Autonomous: These creatures are cunning, and can act without supervision.
Weaknesses:

  • Acid: Praedilacyt's have a weakness for large amounts of highly corrosive acidic substances, due to the nature of their rock-like armour, it can easily be burnt through by acid and in turn severely harm the creature.
  • Sonic Decent: Sonic weaponry are a viable option, able to disrupt their available sense.
  • Appendage Dependage: The Sirracus relies on its tendrils to hunt and track, able to follow with exception sensory data pick up. However, if these relatively fragile tendrils are cut off or damaged - this more or less nullifies its ability to target foes.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The first Sirracus appeared naturally, a welcomed surprise when the Draelvasier ventured outward into dark space. Upon landing on a desolate dwarf planet, the Draelvasier were overcome with a strange illness that also affected their beasts. The majority of the forces on the dwarf planet were temporarily ill, however one of the Servitors had been fertilised, its eggs ready to leave the warmth of their mothers cove. Instead, the Servitor died in the night. When the body was examined, foreign movement was discovered under its deathly skin as several Sirracus ripped their way through the stomach of the Servitor, forcing their birth as they violently rushed into the world.

Since then, the Sirracus have been cloned and genetically modified to be more effective in combat, using the dwarf planet's strange toxins to fuel the infectious paralysis venom in their fangs and tail.
