Bryn'adûl - Meeting the Ish'makra

Lerropten

My conclusion is logical.
Lerropten slowly walked towards the meeting place of the Ish'makra. He didn't know why they had called him, but he had some ideas. He had just revealed the Er'Dolar, so it could potentially be that. Maybe they also had a... request for him to work on. Either way, the tall being had his thoughts. He finally made it to the place, but decided to wait to be called in. A few of his fellow Draelvasier seemed to shy a bit away from him.

Well... he did have a reputation apparently. He looked down at some notes, checking some data from a couple of his experiments. All but one was going as planned, but it was actually better than expected. Hm.... He'd have to keep a note of that one.

Deep in the heart of Draemidus Prime, their largest fortress; Xaeldrask housed the Ish'makra council chambers. A large, oval room built into the base of the Chieftain's inner-palace. The room was concaved, built with large distance seating areas - strong ambiance generated by cold unfeeling orbs, constantly analysing every individual thought and instinct.

It was similar to their court rooms, built with feverous emotion

A summons from the Ish'makra was not something unheard of. But typically, such matters revolved around high-caste operations and the exploits of the Marauders. High traffic generals & politicians acting as extensions of the Chieftian himself, their operations were abovea and beyond even the most respected of Bryn'adûl members below the Upper Caste. Even with the meritocracy of the Draelvasier's cultural ideals, the Caste system was a cage for most.

Bar the exceptional.

This was one such case. An up and coming Mutation Expert with various useful ties throughout the Mutagen research facilities, Lerropten also specialised in combative tactics revolving around the deployment and testing of new Mutagens, handily dealing with unexplored deviancies with a Zealotry only found in the most loyal of Drael.

A new age was dawning upon the Bryn'adûl. Innovation was a product of War. Their most important war would be on themselves, no weakness was to remain. Lerropten would be part of that progeny. Tathra was awaiting with two of the six Seers, Ka'rath and Grohm. Accompanying them were High Shaman Drek'ma and some other individual candidates for their new Enforcers.

The mutation expert would soon find himself belonging to a larger constituency than he could have ever quite possibly imagined.

Lerropten

My conclusion is logical.
Lerropten slowly entered the Ish'makra council chambers, taking in the sight. He may have been slow in movement, but the large beings mind was racing. He was taking in every detail. As he walked further in, he noticed the others there, taking note on what their specialties seemed to be. He noted the High Shaman, a couple of the council's seers, and, most notably, Chieftain Tathra Khaeus.

He quickly stashed his notes in a bag he had carried with him before again taking in the room. It wasn't every day the Ish'makra called individuals like the geneticist in to meet them, so he wanted to be sure he wouldn't anger them. The Drael soon bow, greeting those there.

"Chieftain Tathra Khaeus. Council. It is an honor."

Tathra was in the higher seated area to the right of the entrance, mingling among those whom had gathered. Drek'ma in particular had taken a fascination with the Heretic Leader that Tathra had slain only days before. The whole upper classes of government had been in uproar following the attack during the Festival.

Following the defeat of the Heretic, Tathra had taken his half shattered skull as a trophy and scouted the lingering outdated Cruiser with two Marauders at his heel. The ship was launched into the ionic storms of Draemidus Prime and destroyed shortly after the incident, however using their Recovery Stones they had acquired a detailed manifest of all of their plans, and rumoured associates.

There were those among the Bryn'adûl, the Draelvasier, that had chosen the path of Heresy. The path of weakness. Those who remained among they had to be discovered, and dealt with before they could cause further harm.

Tathra had called for an emergency session of the Ish'makra in secret, only inviting those he was certain remained loyal. That numbered few. Tathra's muscle-bound arms sat folded across his chest, listening to both Drek'ma and Brohm as their discussion regarding the possibility of further outlining Drael deserters came to a close. Tathra anchored to the right, observing the wide angular plated head of the massive Lerropten.

His form was fiendishly broad, wide angular growths gave his form an impressive crown and musculature. Though, his combative finesse was not on Tathra's mind - rather his intellect. As the silence ushered over the Ish'makra chamber, the Geneticist bowed respectfully; greeting the Ish'makra.

"You may come forth." Tathra beckoned him with calmed strength, remaining beside Drek'ma and Grohm as all eyes fell on Lerropten.

Lerropten

My conclusion is logical.
Lerropten lifted his head and slowly came forward, moving his large body with an odd grace. His vision shifted between everyone there as he continued to try and decipher why he was called. The geneticist was smart, but he saw little logical reason as to why he specifically had been called. Once he had come forward, the icy figure stopped and looked up to his superiors, speaking with a cold, yet respectful, tone.

"While I am honored to be called to meet the Ish'makra, I must ask: What is the reason you have asked for me?"

The other candidates now looked to Lerropten as well, every face painted a different picture. Some where incredibly uncertain, troubled - possibly even frightened by what news had been brought by the Council of the Ish'makra. Others were steadied, determined and hateful. Their zealotry blinding them to the non-threatening composure and curiosity of the mutagen expert.

One of the Seers, adorned in dim cloak and crimson décor; turned to address the young mutagen expert. His long, heavy body toiling as it moved with grace and toil downward but a few steps, hands cast aside in open palms on either side of the length of his body. His presence was immense, tailored yet emanating powerful waves regardless.

His nearly colourless eyes moved with a directionless wonder; across the room as if they acted on another plain of existence than their own. Tears gathered at the age of his eyes, stinging from their continued sight.

Are you aware of the Heretic Attack on Caradim? The Seer questioned with earnest flippancy, his voice low and weak as he inquired. Simply stepping down the steps.

I see, you have been called upon by us. To serve our purpose in secret. The Seer explained, his voice carried with more consideration now. Directionless, opaque eyes now falling on Lerropten.

Lerropten

My conclusion is logical.
Lerropten listened to the Seer, tilting his head slightly as he was asked and not really paying much attention to the others. His superior had his full attention with the question, and the large being was quick to answer.

"It is only logical to keep track of such events, Seer." The fellow Draelvasier then explained that he would be work working towards their goals in secret. He seemed intrigued by this, slowly nodding. "I see, and what would you're purpose be currently?"

"There is evidence the Heretics had help from those within the Bryn'adûl. Enemies of our cause." Tathra spoke, stepping down from amongst the others. Vold Lerropten was of clinical mind, his astute observations would be a cornerstone for this enforcements future progress.

"Greater measures are being implemented to halt this Heresy in its tracks. However the insurgents must first be found and destroyed." Tathra explained with a measured, serious tone. This was no trifling matter. If the Bryn'adûl could not stomp out this heresy at its source, it would be their undoing.

The Ish'makra had agreed that the creation of a Enforcer sect was necessary, and Lerropten was to serve a dual purpose. He would help identify those capable of being part of the Enforcer sect and identifying potential heresy. Vold Lerropten was but one of a select few dozen, however each were integral to its success.

"You will help us do this. By identifying potential candidates and threats."
